My daughter saw this game and really wanted it. She got it for Christmas when she was 2 and she is now 4 and still plays it all the time. The nise isn't as bad as all the comments I read, but that's my opinion. I put it away and never have a problem with it quacking at me. I had to listen to it once in the car when it fell over and starting quacking, but it was in the back of the jeep and it wasn't to bad. I think it helps kids with shapes and colors, if they don't know them already. My daughter giggles and plays with it all the time and loves it. My little one is starting to play with it now. My hubby and I play it with them....

I think it's a great game for all ages of children(even grandma). The 1 year old could play as well as the 5 and 7 year old children. The cardboard ducks could be made of plastic for better durability, but I think it's a great color learning game for the 1 year old and just fun for the older children....

perhaps my daughter who just turned 3, is just too old for this because we both found it very boring. but even if the game concept would keep her entertained, the way the ducks continue to fall over make it a sloppy game to pay. certainly not worth the 20 bucks from toys rus!

I really expected more out of this toy, to be honest. My son 4 1/2 has known his shapes since he was about 2 1/2, but he saw the commercial and asked Santa. Well pappy delivered so I can't complain about the price. So I open it up, there are only 12 ducks so 3 of each shape. The button is in the middle so it constantly turns on. My son has played it twice. His younger brother is just 2 and learnign his shapes and loves animals, he wants to play it all the time.

It has its positives too, I don't think the noise is that bad and I am very sensitive to noise levels. The game is fun and it has an educational value.

We have this game. My daughter's teacher at preschool introduced her to it. She really likes to play it over and over again..however as an adult it's very easy. My daughter who is 5 has figured out how to cheat... if the person before her didn't get a match...she watches where the duck goes and grabs that duck. She is very smart.

I would like this game more if it were larger...maybe had more of a course that the ducks go around on....

I found this to be a great game, easy to set up easy to learn.

The quacking sounds perfect, the old version was loud.

The kids love playing the game, and even just love with the ducks.

I would recommend this game for any 2-5 year old.

this is a fun game, but the "quacking" can drive you a little nuts. My child likes the game, but he does loose interest sort of quickly. We stored our game in a plastic box with lid so that it doesn't start quacking when we didn't want it to. ...

We bought Lucky Ducks for our 2 year old daughter for Christmas. I wasn't sure how well she would be able to grasp the concept of this game; however, she caught on quickly. She loves the little ducks and has determined her favorite duck family is the red circles. Surprisingly, she has taken such an interest in this game that she is able to play it four or five times in a row before becoming bored with it. The only problem we have had is that she LOVES the little ducks and wants to play with them outside of the game. We have a lot of tears that occur when we take the ducks away to put the game up.

Overall, I would say this is a good educational toy that provides small children the opportunity to be able to identify different colors and shapes. It also teaches simple problem solving skills (finding the right duck family) and can be a lot of fun to play with your child!

Lucky Ducks is one of the most annoying games my son has ever had. Although it is great for the kids, because of the educational qualities, it is also more for geared toward the 2-4 age group. My seven year old still likes to play with it, but it is a little too easy for him. The colors are great because they are bright and attracting. The game is of good quality construction and the pieces aren't too small for little ones.

My daughter had seen a commercial on television for this game and immediately had to buy it. Me, knowing the actual cost of toys, waited for it to go on sale at Target before I ran out the door and bought it. My daughter is two and a half, yet she has some skills of a five year old as she is very advanced. She loves anything that has to do with ducks, so naturally this was a must have for our family.

The ducks are wrapped in plastic in the box and you will need to take them out of the packaging before you play. Make sure you have "C" batteries on hand, because you will need them and a Phillips screwdriver to install them. After the batteries are in, you are ready to play. Place all 12 ducks onto the pond and push the center button, set-up is so simple!

The concept of the game is very simple. Children take turns selecting a duck from out of the pond. On the bottom of the duck there will be a shape. If the shape matches the one on your end, you get to...

My 4 and 2 year olds didn't really like playing the game itself, what they did like was playing with the ducks and lineing the up in rows. I thought it was a waste of money my husband and I never got into playing the game with them either because it was noisy....

This game is fun, I'd reccomend for a 3-5 age group, to match alike colors, can be somewhat fun.A first game for a toddler if you are looking. We owned this game, can be played up to 3-4 players

The Quacking sound is cute but can get annoying after awhile, so if you don't care for noisy toys this is not for you.

The first time I opened this toy my daughter and I were beside ourselves with excitement. yes the toy is VERY NOISY but so what if its noisy ore its not your thing, this toy is not for you. My daughter really enjoyed the concept of getting there duck with the color they needed to get, she even enjoyed just watching the ducks go round and round. to tell you the truth after a while it does get on your nerves but so what the noise level but to see her enjoyment, in playing with this toy makes it worth every penny and thats worth alittle headache. I highly reccomend this game...

My kids that are 3 and 5 love this game. It is one of their favorites on family game night. We have had it or about a year and it really helped teach my little one her colors and shapes. The only draw back to this game is the constant quacking. We could play the game longer if we could turn the quacking off. The kids love the quacking though.

My nephew, who was 4 years old at the time, kept bugging me to buy this game for him for Christmas last year. I bought it and it annoyed me before I even gave it to him. The quacking just wouldn't stop. You can't set anything on the box or it will start to quack. Also, my nephew only played it once and has not played it since. Not only was it boring for me to play with him but it was boring for him as well. This game is going on my next yard sale....
