One of the most best selling books around the world is Harry Potter. Now i love Harry Potter the concept, the roots of it all is just fascinating. I like how we see Harry Potter's life as he is both loved and hated by the wizarding World. Now i loved books 1-5 but 6 and 7 on the other hand..are not as good at least in my opinion. I hate to spoil anything but just to give you folks an example, ill give a very, very vague outline of book 7 "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". If my memory is still as bad as it was then in book 7 we are thrusted into the wizarding world where we witness Bill Weasley's marriage to Fleur Delcolar. Never liked that really no insight into their characters and we find out they're going to marry really. Anyway their wedding is interrupted by death eaters and this begins Harry Potter's journey to supposely defeat the dark lord. Now from what i can remember its basically the golden trio camping around the woods with no idea what they're doing while destroy the...
...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

this book is the best i just had to read this book because it's the last book the author is doing. everyone had to be suprised that harry potter doesn't die at all. it's also surpising that he marries his best friend sister. all through the years of harry potter he always disliked draco malfoy. Harry potter likes Ginny Weasley very much. Harry has two loyal best friends that always stands by his side ready to help him anyway they can. his two best friends are,Ron Weasley (Ginny Weasley Bro) & Hermione Granger. Professor Dumbledore also stands by Harry potter side because he think harry potter is a great student & Wizard that goes up against Lord Voldemort every year. Lord Voldemort always thought he was going to bring harry potter down though he never did harry lived through all of the battles he had with lord voldemort. It's ashame that this book was the last book the author wrote.

A fan of the Harry Potter movies, as a busy college student I had never taken the time to read the books until recently. An avid reader, I knew that once I began reading the series, I would not want to stop. My life was simply too busy for theh highly involved reading I knew would come with Harry Potter. In August, finding myself faced with a career change which would take some time to undergo, I decided to delve into the mystery that is Harry Potter.

I quickly devoured the first six books, finding reading time wherever I could squeeze it in. From the first sentence of the first book, I was hooked. I couldn't read fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. I journeyed side by side with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley as they faced three-headed dogs, an ancient snake, giant spiders, dragons, Death Eaters, and dementors. Finally, I reached the highly climactic end of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I couldn't wait to begin the seventh, and final, book,...
...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowley is my most favorite book ever! I can read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows again and again and never ever get tired of reading it! I love the author's interesitng plot twists and the suspense! However, I have to admit that some parts were quite confusing, such as how the Elder Wand was disarmed by Malfoy. Also, I would have liked a timeline because time in this book goes by very quickly when Ron, Hermonine, and Harry were out camping. Also, the relationship between Ginny and Harry was kind of creepy to me. I know that they liked each other at different times, but still, it's just kind of weird. (Well, maybe that's just me.) Also, the author could have done without the epilogue, but I guess it's a nice addition fro some readers. Overall, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a must read if you haven't already! I can't wait until the last movie(s) come out!!!
...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows was easily the best book I have ever read! I am one of those avid readers who always have a book in their hands. I have been a die-hard Harry Potter fan since the beginning. I waited inside a Barnes & Noble with both my daughter and son at midnight for the release. As soon as we got our copies, we cracked it open and started reading. It took me 8 hours to finish it! The plot was so well thought out, I don't think any author could have finished the series better! J. K. Rowling did a fantastic job! The book was never boring. Every moment was filled with action and mystery. It amazed me how one person came up with a whole new world!
...

Like everyone else who has the smallest smidgen of enjoyment of Harry Potter I was looking forward to reading the last of the series (allegedly). In fact, I received Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at noon today and promptly sat down and read it cover to cover in one sitting. This 600-page fantasy reads rather well, it has to be said, flowing nicely along at a good pace. It's dark and bloody, but then again what do you expect with Voldermort kicking around?

Alas, one could argue that therein lies the problem. There are not really any of the plot twists and turns that one expects from Harry Potter books. In fact, one could argue that must of it was rather predictable in extremis. That is not to say it is not a rather enjoyable romp through the final tale of the boy wizard. One thing that strikes one throughout the book is that it is rather visual, almost cinematic. The book was clearly written in a manner that would not make it too terribly hard to turn into a script.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows can be described in a single word; amazing. That is exactly what the book is. It takes Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley full circle as friends, as compatriots and as lifelong allies. The book itself is full of surprises, the most obvious being the real truth behind Albus Dumbledore's death. It is also the most action-packed edition in the series, leading the three friends all over the world in search of elusive objects that would ultimately lead to the final fall of Lord Voldemort, a.k.a. Tom Riddle.

Many mysteries are unfurled as the story develops, many revelations discovered. Past enemies are revealed in the most unlikely of places. There is even an unexpected love brewing that comes into reality at the close of the novel. Emotions run rampant, even more so than the six books that preceded this one.

And a war is fought, right where it all began.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Towards the end of the novel, a war...
...

This iconic, series comes to an end! As sad as I was the morning that the book came out, as I filed into the store with the many others waiting to get their hot little hands on the book I couldn't help but feel a slight sadness that this was coming to an end.

I was fortuante enough to get caught up in this series in the beginning and was part of literary history following the story and watching JK Rowlings deep and complex plot lines unravel. She is a true artist.

Book 7 has us with Harry in pursuit of horcruxs which are an Item believed by Harry to be able to defeat the ever looming threat of Lord Voldemort. We follow Harry, Ron, and Hermione on their final and greatest adventure yet. Loyalties are tested, and lines are drawn leading up to the fantastic defense of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where the final show down between good and evil. Questions are answered, and pleanty of shocks come out.

I have been a big Harry Potter fan since the books have come out. I am one of the people that pre-order the next book and went to the parties to get the book at midnight so that I could read it that night. My son has also read and reread the entire series with me and we both still enjoy picking up any of the Harry Potter and sitting down with them.

As far as the Deadly Hallows was concerned I felt that it was a great ending to the years of fantastic stories by J.K Rowling. All the loose ends were tied up and the great battle finally came to light. I do think that she could have had a more dramatic battle at the end but I can also understand that her audience is so vast and has such a variance in age that it would be hard to do that. The only thing that I really found disappointing about the book was the looking ahead twenty years in to the future part. That is the only time in reading that book that I felt all my questions really weren't answered. I think that there were so...
...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to me was beautify written and concluded. Without giving away to much of the story line let me just say that as i was reading the last 150 pages or so I could actually see the characters playing out the story as if i was in an IMAX theater watching it happen on screen. The authors way of concluding all(mostly all) of the story lines that she has set up in the other six books really was elegant and very easy to follow. I have read the last book in series where there are several story lines and plot lines to conclude and the author has this big knot in the end that even they can't read without getting confused. Well this was just the opposite. It leaves the series in perfect order as the tapestry of words that it is. If you like any or all of the first six books you are going to love this one. I hope you enjoy the conclusion to one of the best series ever written.
...

Hopes were so high for the final HP book, I imagine Rowling couldn't have pleased everyone no matter what. What was delivered, however, was quite frustrating for legions of her fans, and only the die-hards who feel she could do no wrong were left without a bad taste in their mouths. The beginning is slipshod, and the middle is a mishmash of the three main characters hiding from the bad guys while whining about their feelings. We later find out that the supporting characters have been fighting the bad guys this whole time, seriousl.y negating what our "heroes" have been up to. The ending redeems it a little, but the tacked on fanfic epilogue caused eyerolls across the globe....

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, what is there to say? I mean it's a HARRY POTTER book! It was amazing. I loved it. From being to end... well except maybe the epilogue. That kinda sucked. Anyhow, I loved it. The only thing was, it didn't anwser all my questions. It did anwser a lot though.

The book is breath taking. I remeber this one part where Harry's looking at the memories, I put the book down (slowly) and said No Way. This book was extremly different from what I thought would happen. I mean there was severely things that I predicted (being the Harry Potter junkie I am...) that did happen, but for most things I was waaay off. And just because I'm saying I love it, doesn't mean it's perfect. There are some crappy and pointless things but overall I love this book and if you don't read it, you suck. 5 outta 5.

This book is so wonderful! Mrs. Rowling was definitely on her 'A' game with writing this epic novel concluding the Harry Potter series. This book picks up right at the end of book 6 and really answers most of the questions that fans have with how the characters came to be where they are. The biggest mysteries answered are about Snape and Dumbledore. The heartbreaking deaths throughout the entire novel really make it hard to get through sometimes, but the reader really gets a since of completion with this book. My only complaint would be that the book didn't explain a lot about what happened to the characters after Hogwarts. Mrs. Rowling should write another novel to answer these questions....
