The Hampton Bay ceiling fan is a great thing, it keeps the air moving around the room and makes my house cooler in the summer. It helps keep the air moving in the winter also, easier to keep a constant temperature.Nice looking as well as useful....

This product was purchased by a family member a few years ago. The look of the fan is very nice with the brushed nickle which makes it look quite contemporary. Though the fan was useful the first couple years it just recently stopped working due to a problem in the motor. It was not used very often so the breakdown was puzzling and seemed too early in the life of the fan to be causing a major problem, considering the infrequent usage. As far as decor, it looked lovely. It is very convenient with the remote, but the item seemed to be undependable.

My old fan just broke at the hottest time, and I needed a new fan that is easy to put up and is very quite, it will be put in my living room. I enjoy the features of the lights and the speeds of the fan. It looks very durable and for the price I think it looks like a very good value....

We just bought a new house and it came with all new fans. We have this one in our home and it is GREAT very sturdy and cool. It is middle of summer in texas and it is nice and cool at night. Very quiet and still. Barely can tell it is there except for the nice breeze.

It's cheap and not exspensive. With summer just around the corner, its nice to have a fan like this that is affordable and efficient. It's not very loud yet it is srong enought to create a significant cooling breeze in any room. I recomend it without any reservations....

The Hampton Bay 36" San Marino Fan is very pleasing to the eye. If asthetics is all you are looking for then you have found a good one for the $49 price tag...however this fan is one of the loudest, I have ever heard.

The hum of the motor can be heard throughout my 2400 sq. ft. house and also vibrates the ceiling.

If you want a good fan that is inxpensive go with the Monte Carlo 24" fan at Lowe's. It's small, good-looking with lot's of power and NO NOISE...

About two years ago, my husband and I bought a new stove and refridgerater that were black. We decided to redo the rest of our kitchen to match the more contemporary look. The ceiling fan that we already had in the kitchen had white blades with a gold design that didn't match our newly updated kitchen. We went to Home Dept and purchased the Hampton Bay 36 In. San Marino In Brushed Nickel Fan. It was quite affordable at $49.97 and was just what we were looking for.
