we recieved the hamilton beach stay or go crock pot as a wedding gift from my inlaws, has a low and high setting plus a kep warm. lid is very well insulated. there are no fancy gadgets, it is not digitAL, but there is a hole in the lid intended for use of a thermometer probe if you choose to use one. it come in stainless with red trim, which i own, or stainless with blue trim. the actually bowl is removable and dishwasher safe along with the lid. there are clamps on the lid for spill free transportation, which is great if you are headed to a pot luck and dont want things sloshing around in your backseat. i have used it to cook whole chickens, plus threw in potatoes and green beans . the chicken skin was crispy, and the actual meat just fell off the bones. cleanup was a breeze, and because everything comes apart, the electrical cord was never anywhere near water, which is a much better concept than the old-school crock pots. very enjoyable cooking experience. i would definatly reccomend...
...

Being a full time working lady the Hamilton Beach stay or go slow cooker has been the most favored slow cooker out of many. The price was just right and the look of the appliance suited me well. The clean up is a breeze. You know how you have to be so careful with the general slow cooker when you take it for a pot luck because the lid jiggles, well not so with this one. Didn't have to worry with a mess in my car and no jiggling with the Stay or Go!! The last slow cooker I had left a puddle on my counter when finished cooking because of the lid being loose on it. The Stay or Go has a seal around the edge of the lid so that liquid cannot escape. So no mess to clean up on the counters. Oh, and another fantastic feature is that it comes...

...

michaelrlmt says "The Hamilton Beach Stay or Go's lockable lid keeps the food in." about Hamilton Beach stay or go

The Hamilton beach Stay or Go slow cooker is a good product. The clip-tight lid is great to keep the food in and the spoon that comes with it is handy. We use the slow cooker at least once a week for all types of yummy foods, from stews to roasts and even deserts. the slow cooker has a removable inner so it makes it easier to clean than ones that don't remove and besides cleaning it makes it easier to serve your food because you don't have a cord to mess with on the table. The Stay or GO has handles so it is easy to carry if you are taking it somewhere besides leaving it at home. we have bought two of them we like them so much. We have a black one and a white one. The six-quart size is great too, it gives you the size you need to make a small roast or you can make large meals if you need. So Chilli, soup, stew, roasts or anything you want to put in for dinner and get a second one for your desert and you will be all set.
...
