I saw this toaster oven in a catalog and thought it was really stylish. It has that old sort of 50's styling, classic lines, and it has slots on the top that you can use as a regular toaster, the really cool part being that they're large enough for bagels.

Here's the problem: They're ONLY good for bagels. When I received mine, I gave my old Wal-Mart toaster oven to my mom before opening the box. If I'd seen it, I'd probably have sent it back. The problem is that a regular toaster oven usually has two racks, trays, and enough room to toast say, four hamburger buns, or heat up frozen snacks quickly. THIS toaster oven barely holds two hamburger buns. It's about half the width of a normal toaster oven. Yeah, it takes up less space and is pretty, but that's not much good if you can rarely use it. Now if I want to heat nachos or pizza rolls, I turn on the oven and wait, because the Hamilton Beach toaster oven couldn't hold a third of what I'm trying to make.

After having gone through many toasters through my 38 years of marriage, I decided after seeing the commercial for the Toaststation to purchase one and see if I liked this one any better. I find that I really do like it, and have used it almost daily for the last four or so years. It is a very practical product, because many of us have the problem of limited space in our kitchens, and at the same time we want to have a toaster oven. This fills the needs of both a toaster and a toaster oven and it still can fit into a space smaller than my last four=slice toaster. I have found that it does not burn the toast, although sometimes we have to put it in twice to get the desired darkness that we want. We also use the toaster oven quite a bit, however, it is a bit small to fit certain things, like a slice of pizza, which is always best reheated in an oven. Our toaster eventually decide to meet its maker in the sky when the wiring started to melt (yeah, not a good sign). That only meant it was time to get a new toaster as a result. I started to browse around online to see what new toasters would make a great addition for the household and something that was useful for us. That's when I saw the Hamilton Beach Toaster and decided it was what we needed.

The Hamilton Beach Toaster is a two-for-one deal: It's sometimes a toaster and sometimes an oven. The 10"x17"x10" frame fits nicely on any countertop without taking much room making it a great space-saving unit. It stands upright like a toaster, but it also has a door and a rack to place items in the oven. I like the brushed silver finish with black front panel. It makes it feel like a modern appliance for the kitchen and plugs in nicely into the wall.

I put the Black and Decker Toaster/Toaster Oven on my Christmas list last year. It was the best gift I got, because I definitely use it every single day. I had a perfectly good toaster oven and a perfectly good toaster, but I have limited counter space. I eliminated two appliances and replaced them with the compact, good-looking Black and Decker Toaster/Toaster Oven.

I use it in the morning for my English Muffin or Bagel and then again in the evening for small dinner entrees. I'm only cooking for one and there is no need to turn on the oven.

The toaster on top is large enough to accommodate large bagels. The clear glass door makes it possible to watch the toasting process so there is no more burnt toast.

Although this appliance uses less counter space than the toaster oven I used to have, the inside oven part is the same size. The metal tray fits in both.

The exterior is easy to keep clean and doesn't show finger prints or greasy kitchen residue.

I bough this hamilton toaster oven about a month ago, and it works wonders. I love to cook a big breakfast for my family on the weekend and this is so great to use. It will toast my bread while I am using the toaster oven. When I cook I do muli things and this toater oven helps me out alot. This is a great thing to add in your home. The look of it is also great because it matches the other stuff in my kitchen too.

The Hamilton Beach Toaster is the best toaster I've ever owned. It doesn't take up much space for how productive it is, and it looks great with my other black appliances. It also has a simple design which makes toasting quick and easy. I have all my settings adjusted and I don't have to switch it up very much, and that makes it even quicker. It would be great if I could use the toaster and the oven at the same time, but that problem only comes up every now and then....

The Hamilton Beach Toaster is small and compact where you can easily fit anywhere and will not take up much space. Also, will heat your bagels or bread or whatever you toast in seconds. The modern look also makes it look like its up-to-date and is very easy to operate. The toaster only cooks two items at a time which is not very good.

My grandparents bought this toaster a while back and haven't complained once. They saved room on their counter because it toasts bread very quickly as well as the oven on the bottom which is very helpful with warming things, baking, and melting!

When I visit I never have a problem loading the toast or bagel and taking it out, I think it is a great over all product.

A great multi-purpose appliance. Awesome for bagels.

I've had this toaster oven for 3 years and it still works well. Use the toaster part almost daily, the oven part only several times a year. The oven portion is very small fits about only 1 slice of pizza at a time but it has worked well for me. It saves space and is a great design. I like the 2-in-1 gadget. Coordinates well with my stainless steel and black granite kitchen....

The hamilton beach toastation toaster is great for me because I have 15 minutes to drink my orange juice & pack my lunch & toast something & keep it warm &pour my coffee & run out the door to drive to work.It is fairly fast & toast is warm while I eat on the way to work.What bugs me is that english muffins usually are not big enough to stick out far enough to get out without using a fork.Also when I need to toast more,it is difficult to get to pop up NOW! Before it burns any more! You have to flip the top switch to bake & the toaster wil pop up ,but if you're not quick it will catch under the top closer,if you don't flip to toaster again.It really needs an I think you're done pop up NOW button! As big a deal as I make this sound it is still the best toaster that I've owned, just improve on it a little Hamilton Beach!...

The Hamilton Beach toaster I purchased has been the best one I've ever had. It heats up fast and is easy to keep clean. My mom liked mine so much she bought one for herself.
I just hope if anything happens to mine I'll be able to buy another one.
