I have had many slow cookers, crock pots over the years. I had probelms with all of them, but this one. My first couple did not hold enough food for my family. The last couple burned my food all the time. This one turned out to be just perfect for me and my family. It holds a lot of food, is programable, looks good on the counter, is easy to clean, has a glass lid and a probe. I can not imagine anything bad to say about my Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker.

For a fast paced, busy, non-cooking wife, this one kitchen item has been my life saver. We received the Hamilton Beach slow cooker (5.5 quart with the digital stuff) as a wedding gift two years ago. I am not a naturally talented cook, and my husband loves a great meal. We are very busy people, and his slow cooker is perfect for our situation. It is so simple to use, throw all of your ingedients in, pick your temperature setting, and leave! Go to work- go to church- and come back to a "Sunday meal" smelling house and a great meal to eat. I particularly like the temperature probe that comes with this particular slow cooker. Since I am not to the natural cook that can look at meat and tell if it is done, the probe has really helped me feel confident on when to take it out. I even used it one year at thanksgiving to cook our hame because the oven was full. I put the ham in the pot, put on a package of rub, and put the lid on. I then stuck the probe in and set the timer to beep when the ham...

All I wanted for Christmas was a crock-pot, and I received this beauty. I was excited to start and expand my cooking abilities, so I decided to make beef stew with top-of-the-line Angus beef. I spent all night (and lots of $) preparing the meal, and I set it to cook (at low for 6 hours) when I left for work that morning. When I arrived home, something was burning...

The crock-pot was blinking "high" with no time limit. On its own, it went from my set time (6 hours) and temp (low) to high for no apparent reason. I was upset my expensive Angus was ruined, and my fiancé and mother were quick to point out that, "I must have set it wrong." I was positive I had set it right (it's a no-brainer), so I decided to cook another meal to prove a point. That night I made pulled pork and decided to slow-cook it throughout the night, so I could check on it periodically. Again, I set the same temp and time. Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker is the best slow cooker i have had in 18 years. i have had 4 others and they didnt come close to this one. I love that you can program it 3 different ways and just walk away and when its done it keeps it warm till you are ready to eat....

i love this product. it holds alot of food. i would really recommend this to anyone. my son who is 15 even was able to use it. i love that you can put all the food in it and forget about it. it heats up really fast. it is easy to clean. it is good for company. even my wife can do it too. ...

This unit is handsom and not just a pretty top decor. I have never had a bad meal from this slow cooker. The temperature probe feature worked better than I expected. You wont be dissapointed with this one....

This Hamilton Beach Crock is great. We saw it at Kohls and it was more money and we put off getting it then later that night we found it our local Kmart and it was ten dollars cheaper. We got it home and my wife loves it, she cokked a roast that night and the nice thing was that we were able to set a timer and let cook the crock keep it warm automatically after it was done cooking....

The Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker is a very convenient appliance for working/hectic lifestyles. I've used a slow cooker for over 30 years. Over the years they have improved in design and function, I really like the programmable cooker they have out now. All it takes is a few minutes to prepare ingredients and the cooker does all the work. You have a balanced healthy meal for your family. What even makes it better is sitting at a table and talking to your family in a relaxed environment. The real meaning of family time instead of eating at fast food places.

This is my very first slow cooker! I'm still learning how best to cook with it, but so far, I'm very impressed. The crock itself is a very nice design and the settings are easy to navigate. The probe was very handy when I recently cooked a roast.

My husband and I received this slow cooker as a wedding present, and it quickly became a staple in our house. The programmable options allow for perfect cooking each time, and it's very easy to use. The best feature on this slow cooker though is the ease of clean up due to the removable pot. We received the Hamilton Beach 6qt Set and Forget slow cooker as a wedding gift. It is one of the best gifts we were given and we use it weekly. I work 2 jobs and my husband (who cooks as well) works long days, but we are still able to eat healthy meals using our slow cooker. It has three settings - Manual, Program (you set the time and choose High, Low or Warm), and Manual Electric thermometer probe (will cook the meat to the temp you set). You can prep the ingredients the night before, throw it on in the morning on the way out the door, and when you get home dinner is done and still warm. If you set it for 6 hours, when it is done, the machine will keep adjusting the temperature to keep your food warm! I recommend this for anyone! -especially those with hectic work lives and/or children!...

This is a very nice looking pot. I love the spoon rest, how easy it is to take places and even better the price. I purchased it at wal-mart and the sales clerk said that it was one of the top saler's. Now I can see why. This is a great Christmas item and it is even good for people who are not the pros of cooking.
