I purchased the Hamilton Beach Juicer and after using it for one week I found the product very loud and difficult to clean. The receptacle that catches the "waste" did not fit properly so when I used it quite a bit of pulp seeped out onto my counter top producing quite a mess. The receptable which caught the juice was rather small so I was not able to make as much juice as I would have liked. The Hamilton Beach juicer also produced a lot of waste in the form of pulp. The strainer was very difficult to clean. The strainer had very small holes that clogged easily. In the end, I did not feel it was worth the price I paid so after one week I packed it up and returned if for a different model/brand....

I had one for about 5 years, it did the job it needed to but was very messy. The Hamilton Beach Juicer was used fairly regularly but the pulp was always still juicy and wet and often had large lumps still in it....

This is a serious juicer with lots of power, but there are so many "not good" pieces that I wish I could return it.

* It's noisy, noisy, noisy - you cannot talk over it.
* The way the pulp is expelled, a big lump gets caught in the lid - nasty surprise after you (think you've) emptied the pulp bin.
* More surprise in the pulp arena, it throws away chunks of fruit! We sent thru the last of the cranberries (maybe 6-7 of them)& not even a trickle of juice came thru! Sure enough, there they were on the top of the pulp bin.
* It needs 3 hands to take it apart - two to lift & one to hold the machine down...and
* Once you've got it apart, it doesn't nestle neatly back together - which is why we can't return it - we pushed down too hard on the grasping lever - <snap!> now the lid is broken.

It's also pretty big which means it has to live on the counter top - I was semi-aware of this when I bought it, but still twas a surprize to see just *how* big the darn thing is.

Oh well - live and learn.

The juice extractor is quick and easy to use and clean. The juices are healthy and good tasting. I would recommende to anybosy who is health concious and enloys a varion of juices.added...

I bought and used this juicer. It wasn't too bad for a small juicer. You do have to cut the pieces small but it does a pretty good job. Cleaning up the pulp is not too bad either....

I bought the hamilton beach juicer and myself I believe they are just a wast of money. For strarters most of the fruit/veg. is wasted. You get very little juice out of what you are juicing....

i think this juicer would be a good addition to any kitchen fast and durable could be a bit smaller bu still agood size for kitchen and good on counter space.

I love to get it out and have fresh juice but it takes a lot of fruit/vegetables, and clean up is a lot of work....

this machine works ok, but you have to cut everything small which takes awhile and clean up is a bit too much!...

This jucier is the king of juciers. I have had mine for quite a few years and it still is in perfect working condition. Clean up is easy too....

The model we have may be a little older. (I can't remember when we got it but have had it for a while and have used it since getting it.) It has lasted and is a good product. I find that cleaning it is not fun. The blades need to be well cleaned, especially if you don't want cross flavoring of foods. Another thing is that if people have a garden the remains are wonderful compost for plants but if you don't, you have a lot of goo to get rid of. All in all on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this product a 7. ...

Full ReviewAfter killing a $65 Philips Juice Extractor in under a month (its motor burned up after juicing 3 carrots, 3 stalks of celery & half a beet). For the Body Detoxifyer - YUM!

WalMart was advertising it & I waited over a week to find one in stock. I am glad I kept up my vigil! This is one great unit for $35.

Looks just like & works like the Juiceman Jr ($65 at WalMart). Very easy to take apart to clean & easily reassembles to juice again.

Used a toothbrush to clean the shredder basket from the pulp that stuck to it. But once it is in the top shelf of the dishwasher, tho the instructions tell you not to do it, it came out perfect.

The feeder tube is larger than the Philips that had me slicing carrots in half, celery in thirds, and if I want to slice & dice than forget jucing - eat the salad!

Amazing that you can drink 15 servings of fruits & veggies in 3 8 oz glasses....
