starrywingz says "I am very happy with my Hamilton Beach Food Processor" about Hamilton Beach 70560

I was looking for a food processor but could not put out the money for an expensive brand. I read many reviews on amazon.com and then decided to go to target and purchase this processor. I am very pleased.

I was a little concerned that I would not use this appliance much but I was wrong. I have used it to make salsa, pesto, hash browns, shred cheese, sofrito, and chop veggies. It primarily bought it so that I could save myself time when making fresh salsa and it does.

The food processor is not too noisy. It is easy to assemble and easy to clean. It comes with a normal blade and a disc that either shreds or dices depending on which side you use. It is very basic. It has two options, on or pulse. I always use pulse because this machine is so powerful that in just a couple seconds you will end up with a puree if you keep it on.

I am very pleased with this processor and hope to have it for many years to come. When it finally does die, I hope that they still make them.
...

purplelizard says "Hamilton Beach Is The Best Food Processor I've Ever Owned!" about Hamilton Beach 70560

I have bought so many food processors that I've lost count. They always break quickly or don't work very well to start with. I finally tried Hamilton Beach and I'm so glad that I did! I've had it for several months now and it is still working great. I've never had any problems with it at all and I haven't managed to break it yet. That's a first. It is easy to use and easy to clean. The motor is less noisy than other processors too. It is big enough to handle my homemade salsa (I make several jars at one time) and small enough to hide away when I'm not using it. It chops, slices, grates, mixes and purees like a pro. I wouldn't trade it for another brand if you paid me. The best part of all is that it costs a lot less than other processors but does a better job than the very expensive ones. This is my favorite kitchen appliance because it saves me so much time and unnecessary effort. Oh, and it matches my kitchen too! What more could I ask for?
...

abrat says "Makes your cooking preparation easy" about Hamilton Beach 70560

I bought this Hamilton Beach food processor from Walmart last fall I can say enough good things about it. I prepare raw food for my dogs and this is a very handy tool to have for the process. It has a large capacity container and the speed of the motor and the blades sharpness makes chopping up even the hardest of vegetables a piece a cake to chop up. Another nice feature is the ease of cleaning the pieces. There are no awkward corners that food can get stuck in so cleaning every angle is a breeze. Another nice feature is the ability to pulse for a quick chop, like strawberries where you want chunks for those Delicious strawberry shortcakes. Over all I would highly recommend this and the price, I paid $19.99, can't be beat. Even if it went up a few dollars, it's still a great buy. If you aren't Julia Childs, or Emmeril, this will do all you want for a fraction of the price of a Kitchen Aid.
...

The Hamilton Beach 70560 food processor works great for normal chopping and blending needs, but can get sluggish with heavy duty use (nuts and dried fruits). I've used it to make dips, soups, and for chopping many types of vegetables. I've been very pleased! For the amount it costs, it's probably the best deal out there.
...

robins3878 says ""I can't live without this one kitchen item!"" about Hamilton Beach 70560

I have had a Hamilton Beach food processor in one form or another for the last 30 years. I don't know how to cook without it anymore. My last one worked for 20 years and when it wore out I had to run to Kmart and get another one. It is the best buy for the money and I have never had a problem with it. I have used other over priced models but this is the best overall item for the money. I use it for everything from chopping, shredding, making pie crusts, and mixing. Real cooks must have a food processor....

mhew says "It's basic, but does the job" about Hamilton Beach 70560

My Hamilton Beach food processor was a gift from my mom when she was moving away this spring and couldn't take everything with her. I love it! I have no other food processor to compare it with, so I can't honestly say it is "the best".

What I can say is that it is very simple to use. It has only two speeds and a pulse button. It has a main spinning blade and an optional shredding/slicing disc. The disc sits on top of the container and you can flip it upside down depending on whether you want to shred or slice.

What can I say, other than, it works? I love having a food processor now because it chops and dices so nice and quickly. I've made salsa dip, dough, chopped or diced veggies and even bread crumbs. I'd recommend it easily, but as I said, only because it's the only one I've ever tried....
