After reading these reviews on Jan, I decided to see her, and man what a choice that was! She's amazing. Not only do you leave with beautiful hair (and know how to better care for it), you also leave feeling like you just made a friend. She has amazing memory and an amazing personality! If you're scared of leaving with bad hair or even just an awkward conversation during your cut, don't be with Jan.

After years of having bad hair days/years. I decided to search for a stylist through Viewpoints on a lark. I had been paying an exorbitant amount of money plus tip to a stylist that just did whatever he wanted regardless of the photos I would bring in on styles that I wanted. After my last bad textured cut, (I have a shag cut), I was desparate to find a good stylist and Jan's name came up twice on Viewpoints and I liked the fact that she took the time to get to know the client's lifestyle and abilities. I decided to take the leap of faith and give her a try for myself. I was immediately taken by her friendliness and honest evaluation on what would look best on me. She had booked extra time to get to know me and make me feel comfortable. I can honestly say that I will not fear the scissors any longer and will be coming back to Jan from now on for all my cuts. She is wonderful!!! Everyone there is extremely friendly and professional and the shop is in a fun area on......

A fake tan looks fake and ugly. Dont do this to your body it hurts and cost alot of money. Just go outside its free and looks a lot better. DON'T DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!please dont do this. Its very very very very bad for you and you will look bad and it is horrible dont do it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Have been going to the Salon since 1997 and Jan has always done my hair. I travel 100% of the time and I am accused of getting $100 haircuts in NYC (because its entirely plausible) but only pay a fraction of that at the Station. When I want to treat my sister or my best friend we get haircuts and pedicures. Gilbert gives GREAT foot! Jan should be lavished with gifts. Egad! Even I look good when she's done!...

Jan at the Hair Station is fantastic! She was referred to me through friends and is just an amazingly creative person. She learns about the lives and habits of her customers so as to be a better stylist. She really knows her stuff! She routinely counsels me on what color she will be using and why; she also lets you know what is likely to happen to your color based on what the weather will be like or based on your vacation plans! The staff is very attentive and always calls to confirm your appointment. For Park Ave, however, the price is quite reasonable, and Jan is worth it!...
