this portable Haier top loading washing machine is so fussy. It will wash clothes, 2 pairs of jeans or one 1 load of sheets. It is small but does have some power and uses. it is very touchy and as I write this, my machine will not spin. Dont know why but will have it repaired. Would i buy again, probably... but still expecty better workmanship than this.

This is one of the best inventions ever! I moved into a small efficiency last year to go to school, and found to my dismay that the washing machine in the basement did not work. The coompany decided that they didn't have to replace it, so I was stuck going to a laundry mat. This is relatively light, easy to use, and hassle free. You can use your kitchen sink as a water source, and voila! instant clean clothes! You can even wash full size mattress sheets in it! (although I would advise doing one at a time, since it is very easy for the machine to become unbalanced...)

I bought the Haier Washer HLP21E because I live in an apartment with limited space. However, it is not a reliable product.The spin cycle stopped working with only a few months of use. Then the rinse cycle stopped working. I also tried to get a replacement hose sent to me through the company. However, Haier customer service was not very helpful. I had to finally call Kmart customer service to intervene for me. By then, the warranty ran out. The washer still works. The spin and rinse cycles still do not work. The washer is also not quiet. One recommendation is that when you buy a portable washer make sure it comes with wheels and that it is from a reliable brand....

It's awesom. We don't have a washer and dryer in the apartment. We bought this washing machine right before our baby was born. I love it. It cleans everything. Originally we bought it just to use for the baby's clothes now I am using for everything, including jeans.Best part about it it dose not take room as it is very small. So if you don't have space this is perfet. It's easy to hook to the bathroom sink.

I can't say enough good things about this little machine! My boyfriend and I live in a small, attic studio, and it fits in my bathroom with no problems. It's quiet enough that my boyfriend can take a nap while it's running. The spin cycle means some serious business! I can wash a pair of heavy denim jeans in the afternoon, and they'll be dry to wear by evening.

It tends to need some babysitting through the end of the cycle, and can be prone to unbalancing, but given it's size, that's not at all unexpected. I have the water draining into my bath tub, and I strongly recommend using something on the end of the drain hose for lint, something a little beefier than those mesh things, as they let a bit of lint through, and will clog your plumbing. I switched over to an old sweat sock, and problem solved.

If you live in an apartment, I strongly recommend this washer. I'm now saving at least $15 a week by not going to the laundromat.

This is a terrific appliance for people who live in a small place. My husband and I live in a 620 square foot cottage and this washer is so great for a small area. It is square, so will fit in a 17 inch by 17 inch space. I placed it at the end of my kitchen counter, so it looks like part of the kitchen. Good looking, easy to use. Holds from 5-7 items. Less jeans, more t-shirts). Great for one or two people. Has a fast cycle, which saves time and water, but washes clothing clean. I have owned this washer for about 2 months and love it. (Sure beats that run to the laundry mat!!) The only bad part I found is that it doesn't come with wheels. I ordered it from Walmart.com and I couldn't find the wheel kit on the site to order it separately either. The other thing th\at is negative is that when I was jeans, the basket is never level when it spins out. I have to readjust the clothing inside and try spinning again. Not a big deal, just a little inconvenient. It was double boxed for delivery, which......
