Purchased the 7000 btu unit for my office as the girls keep it way to warm using the central air. It works great! Love the digital thermostat setting capability. Cools my 12 by 12 office in minutes. Highly recommended. 6th avenue electronics puts it on sale for 275 once in a while.
...

I am using the Haier Portable air conditioner in my bedroom, as the one in the wall is tripping fuses off constantly. This works pretty well, except that it needs draining too often, and I find that occasionally the hoses come off then it emits hot, hot air into the room. Overall it is working out for me though. It is not however, as portable as it was touted to be, as has to be installed as far as the outer hoses venting through a window to the outside and secured, not a one minute job, so cannot move it from room to room.
...

checks if the array parameter is larger than the size of the collection. If so, it adds all

elements of the collection into the array, followed by a null terminator, and it returns

the array. If the length of array equals the size of the collection, then the method adds

all elements of the collection to the array but does not add a null terminator. If there
isn't enough room, then the method creates a new array, of the same type as the
incoming array, and fills it with the elements of the collection.
...

this air conditioner is ok, but it's not powerful enough. i expected it to be a lot more powerful than it is. however, i have heard that all portables are like that, so maybe it's just because of that. the sales person at the store told me that a lot of portables have been returned because they aren't powerful enough. he didn't say what brands. i don't really have the option to have a window ac, so this will have to do, but I would prefer the window one if i had the choice....

It's my experience with products made by Haier that they are a good buy for the money. Also very reliable. I feel that the air conditioners made by Haier would be well every penny spent on them. I have a Haier dehumidifer it works extremely well. Thats the reason we bought it the reputation of Haier....

The Haier HPB07XC7 Portable Air Coonditioner is not one of the best looking units out there. It could definitely use a major touch of style. The look is old school and the color is that of what appears to be a hamburger regurgitated completely. It just disgusts me to know that a company in the year 2008 has designed a horrid looking air conditioning unit. I am overall displeased beyond belief with this product....

Very Nice, I reccamend it to anyone who dosen't want a lot of maitnance. It cools down the entire room in the hot dog days of summer`! Very child-friendly also. It is very easy to assemble, expecially when there are two or more people helping. Assembly can be comp[leted alone however. I haven't had any problems with it and I've had it for over a year now. Overall, the price is right for the quality. I am very happy with my purchase and recamend it to anyone who is tired of hot, humid, days INSIDE your house!...

if space is a issue and you don't want to lift and install a heavy window unit this unit is for you. Can be moved around not to heavy, will cool down a 12x12 room in no time, Fan could be stronger but is real quite, This is a great unit for college rooms or small work shops. Great for older folks who like to stay in one to two rooms and stay cool....

Silly me. After being pampered in air conditioning for my previous 26 years of existence, I was under the impression I'd be able to stick out a single summer in a second floor apartment with cathedral ceilings (read: it gets freakin hot in here!). Maybe it was the heat getting to my brain, or the low air quality reducing the oxygen that made it there, but either way, I should've known I was crazy.

But see, here's the thing. I didn't want to put in a window unit, because the windows in my apartment look rather flimsy, and I didn't think they could support even a small window AC. And I really didn't want to shell out the moolah for a portable AC. So, I figured, what the hell, I'll beat the heat with no AC. It can't be that hard to make it through ONE summer without AC, can it? Uh, yeah, it can. Maybe not when you haven't had AC all of your life, but when you have? FORGET ABOUT IT.

But I impressed myself. I made it until the last week of July before caving. And so, this...
...
