I have the small Haier chest freezer with the drawer on the bottom. This is not a frost free freezer but it takes atleast 3 years for any amount of ice build up before you will want to defrost it. Defrosting it takes mear minutes! Unplug and within minutes you can get the ice off the sides, and I mean just a little ice, it is only near the top of the unit.

The drawer is great for storing items that are already frozen to begin with like sausage or cool whip. I also use it to keep butter. I have the unit set on high so the bottom stays a cold as it can get.

I have to say it is a pretty quiet unit also, and energy effecient too.

This holds more food than you will think possible. It is a great addition to a smaller famiily.

I bought mine from Amazon, the price was under $200.00 and the shipping was about $10.00 which is a bargain. The ship time was super fast too.

You will love this freezer, give it a try.

This Haier freezer was the best investment for us. We live in an apartment and we convinced our landlord that the apartment size fridge/freezer was too small for us. I am a big frozen- food- on- sale -discount- shopper..so when items like meat,pizza,bacon, veggies and bread go on sale, I like to stock up!

Also we make our own bird suet foods and I like to keep them in the freezer when I make big batches.

The size of the freezer 5.3 cube was just as big on the outside of the 3.0. We chose this one at our local Walmart when they has a sale on them. $125.00 and i had a group of gift cards that I accumulated threw the year and spent only $35.00 out of pocket at the time!

The unit only weighs 85 lbs when empty and dry (new out of box) and we keep in in the corner of the kitchen (doesnt take up much room). It is light enought and easy enough for me to move it around when I clean the floors. (make sure tho that you definetly carry this item the right way! dont tip it over, we heard people having...
