GMRsMom says "Nice clothes, but a bit pricy" about Gymboree Clothing Store

I do like the Gymboree clothing. It is well made, cute, and comfortable for my kids. They come out in "collections" in which all the pieces are pretty much mix-and-match with each other, making outfits easy to put together.

Several times a year, you can earn "gymbucks" - for every $50 you spend in a single trip (or online), you earn $25 in Gymbucks. These can be redeemed at a later date. For every $50 you spend, you can use 25 Gymbucks. The only thing I really don't like about this system is the earning period is long, but you only get about a week or so to redeem them. And they're not cumulative - if you spend $60 in one trip and $40 in another, you only receive 25 Gymbucks from the first trip, nothing for the second.

The downside is they are much more expensive than the other children's clothing stores I go to. It's hard to justify paying so much more for clothes that my kids outgrow so quickly. I generally wait until they're having a sale or I have a 20% off coupon to...
...

bcrispens says "Love the clothes, but not the prices" about Gymboree Clothing Store

I love gymboree clothes for my son since he's only 2. They're very cute and great for a little boy because they offer designs other than sports. So, on that end, I would say selection, design, and cuteness are all there. I do think their toddler clothes are a bit pricey, though. I have actually started to shop at their sister company - Crazy 8 - because the clothes are very similar to Gymboree, but at a lower price point.

I definitely recommend their clothes, but make sure you shop there during their big sales.

bkosten says "Cute and durable, but you pay for it!" about Gymboree Clothing Store

Gymboree's clothing is for the most part very adorable, although there are a few themed styles that I do not care for such as animals or bugs...but their clothing is also very durable. It can last through all of my children and still be wearable! It can be very pricey, but they do often have good sales, and they recently introduced a program for frequent shoppers called Gymbucks where you can earn points for every dollar you spend with them that goes toward your next purchase. If you sign up for their mailing list, they also send out coupons quite frequently, so if you combine that with a sale and Gymbucks, you can actually score a sweet deal on some nice clothing that will last and last. I love to shop there during holidays because they always have the cutest coordinated clothing...plaids at Christmas, hearts for Valentines day, flowers at springtime, etc... This is definately a store I would recommend and you should check out if you never have!

i love GYMBOREE!. it is the best place for my 3 years old kid apparel. the legging for her is always lovable. i tried lot of leggings for her mostly it came out when she is mobile. but GYMBOREE legging is always fit and cute. it is great price. they have variety of collections with reasonable price. my 9 years old kid she loves to wear colorful panty. Gymboree had wide range of collection of variable colors and selection. the panty line is fit for long use. The winter collection is very good in GYMBOREE . they have wide range of winter accessories like glouse , hat, shalls , socks and more.... MY daughter loves to wear full matching set of winter clothes..GYMBOREE is the best choice for that. there they have a full matching set of jerkins, hat, glouse, socks, shalls, leggings.. with unbelivable color matching and reasonable pricing.
lgwriter says "Great clothes that keep your kid looking like a kid." about Gymboree Clothing Store

When I first had kids, I would walk by Gymboree stores in the mall and take one look at the price tag, and walk right out. It wasn't until I came across a few items during some of their sales, that I realized there were good deals to be had.

Gymboree has adorable clothes for both boys and girls. I like the fact that for the most part, their styles keep a kid looking like a kid, and not some out of a celebrity magazine. The clothes are also high quality and a hold up better than other brands.

While their clothes do start out at higher price points when they first come out, they usually follow a cycle of markdowns that end up comparable to Target, Wal-mart and other retailers. The store routinely has coupons out in magazines, and also has many promotional sales throughout the year. I simply wait until the price is low enough for me to stock up on essentials for my kids at a very discounted price.

There are some items I pay a little more for though, because I love their clothes and styles....
...

Gymboree has great clothing. I purchased some clothing for my daughter for the Christmas holidays. They have a wonderful selection. Your kids wil be dressed topped notch in their clothing. I get the coupons mailed to me. However even with coupons these could be expensive in today's economy. So I end up selling the coupons on Ebay sometimes and they always get sold. Right now I'm doing Children's Place since it is more economical and the clothes are still good quality.
...

AngelaWLaFon says "Gymboree Baby Clothes: Cost More but Last and Last" about Gymboree Clothing Store

Gymboree Baby Clothes, www.gymboree.com

Gymboree is one of my favorite lines of baby clothes. The styles are cute without being too trendy and conservative without being stuffy. One of my all time favorites was a little light blue sleeper with tiny ladybugs.

Gymboree baby and kids clothes can be purchased in Gymboree stores or on-line. Gymboree sizes run from infant up to size 12 although the selection gets more limited for the older sizes. Yes, they are definately more expensive but they last and last.

I have Gymboree baby clothes that went from one child to a cousin, back to a sibling, out to another friend and now are being passed on to a neighbor and they are still in great shape. With Gymboree clothes you can really go green and and pass these baby clothes on forever. Also, if you like to do trade in at consignment shops or resell on e-bay Gymboree clothes do really well.

If you sign up for their e-mail list you will often get coupons like 30% off this week. This spring...
...

Gymboree stores feature kids clothing that is adorable and well-made, but they're a bit procey for me. They come out with new "lines" all the time, and all the items mix and match, right down to the shoes and hairbows. Sign up for their emails and to get coupons mailed to you, plus wait for sales--at least 30 but preferably 50% off, and buy for next year.

A note on sizing: Their clothes run big.

Also, the two stores I've been too in the Columbus, OH area are too small. It's very difficult to navigate a stroller through the little aisles and corners.
...

Ok, as for gymboree. I have seen the classes and the clothing store.

The clothing store is good. good prices good style, good quality.

However, I have also been to gymboree classes. IF you have a babysitter, maybe its good to send them there with the child if theres nothing else to do.

However, if as a parent you are with the child i would not reccomend the classes unitl they are about 2yrs old.

THe classes earlier than that are mindless and corny. Not in a goodway.
...
After a doctor's appointment I stopped at Gymboree to cheer myself up. Children's clothing at this store cheers me up and, of course, provides my grandson with a new outfit. I purchsed a blue short and shirt set with a cute little train on the shirt. I love their clothing, because it looks so good on, they have so many cheery colors--even for boys-- and they wear so well. We have numerous Gymboree items passed down from friends and they still look just great!...
