As a new mom, I immediately fell in love with Gymboree blankets. They are a tad more expensive than others you will find made by traditional baby supply companies, but in my opinion they are worth every cent you are charged. The blankets are super soft and larger than most other traditional baby blankets. I often used his Gymboree blanket to cover up with while nursing him in public. It was large enough to cover me, him, and still allow for privacy. My son is two and is still able to use his Gymboree blankets as a cover during naptime and that can not be said for the blankets we own by other makers. He loves to look at the print side of the blanket (dinosaurs, frogs, circus animals). These blankets stand up to the wear and tear of a toddler and the many washings that are necessary after daily use. I have given several of these as baby gifts and always received positive feedback from the mom who received it. I do wish that they sometimes had a better selection of the blankets,...
...

casspooh77 says "Mother of 3 boys, quality and long-lasting is a must" about Gymboree Baby Blanket

As a mother of 3 boys finding quality products and making them last is a must. I bought my first Gymboree blanket 8 years ago and loved it. They became a favorite gift to give to expecting moms right away. About 4 years ago something happened to the quality of the material they were using to make blankets and for some reason only the blankets that are white in color still measure up to my expectations. I have tried different colors, patterns and seasons and come to only trust and stand by the Gymboree blankets that are white on at least one side....

heatherann2884 says "perfect size for swaddling" about Gymboree Baby Blanket

I got a gymboree baby blanket as a baby gift and instantly thought I wouldn't use it very much. After my daughter turned 4 weeks she developed the need to be swaddled but I didn't have any blankets that would keep her in nice and tight, until I tried this blanket! I alternate between two different prints and absolutely love this blanket. It is also one of the softest blankets and warm without making my baby sweat. We live in a very hot climate so this is an issue with swaddling! I suggest buying several of these since they are so practical and reasonable in price!...

ashersmom says "These are the best baby blankets around!!" about Gymboree Baby Blanket

These Gymboree baby blankets, at first, I thought were a waste of money, but after using them, they are EXCELLENT. We used them for swaddling when my son was a newborn and then as he grew out of that phase, we used them as a cover up from the cold. The blankets are soft, thick cotton. They are easily washed and durable. I cannot say enough good things about these blankets. The only draw back is that they are related to a specific line of clothing and don't really match anything else...we still use them with other things though....
