The Graco iMonitor has been pretty good for us. Compared to the Sony monitor we have, it is great! Some of the pros: it has 2 receivers so we do not have to try to carry one around all day. We can keep one in our bedroom and one in the kitchen. Cons: short short short battery life. I literally try to take one of the receivers off of the base and carry it outside on the deck with me, and it starts beeping right away after about 5 minutes. It is very poor. I thought about buying a battery to go in it, but dont think it is worth it now that my son is almost 2. I wont be using a monitor for him at all for much longer. Another con is that you cannot turn the volume all of the way down or put it to "voice activated mode" like I can with my Sony monitor so in the dead of night when it is really quiet inside, I hear white noise when I am trying to sleep and it bugs me! But overall a good value. I found it on ebay for a lot less than it was selling for in the stores!
...

I have been very happy with this monitor. i have tried a few others but this is the only one that really monitors two rooms at once and does it well. I like how you can choose how long it monitors each child as it cycles through the two rooms and the color coding so I know who is making the noise it aslo great....

My husband and I purchased a Graco digital baby monitor from Sears when we were on vacation because I had forgot to pack our monitor from home. We aren't very satisfied with our monitor at home anyway, so we picked one that had a longer range, was wireless, and had a rechargable handset. I got it out of the package and charged the handset just like the instructions stated. I then used the handset for one night. When I went to use it the second night the handset was already dead. So I recharged it overnight and used it the next night. Then when I tried using it the night after that, the same thing happened. No charge on the battery. I also could not put it near any electronic product or the static would be terrible. Our monitor at home does that too, but not anywhere near as bad as this new one. Long story short, I took back the monitor and got my money back. We are still trying to decide which monitor to get to replace the one at our house because we are leery of purchasing......

So, we started out with a Graco monitor, but it was SO staticy - I was willing to tough it out, but my hubby was NOT! So, we decided we would try every monitor out there until we found one we were happy with. Fortunately, the iMonitor was the first in our field testing and our search was over. It is SO clear no matter where we are in the house - and we have and old house with S-O-L-I-D walls. I also love the trifecta of sound, lights, and vibration - very 21st century :) Aside from being clear at long distances, it doesn't pick up interference and I love being able to adjust the sound sensitivity too! And while we primarily care about our daughter's safety, I was WAY pumped that it doesn't look like your typical baby monitor- it's very trendy looking. Oh - did I mention how handy the rechargeable battery is - it's handy!

Couldn't be happier!
...

When we were about to have our second child in under 2 years, it became obvious that we needed to invest in another monitor. But I didn't want to have to have two monitors. Last year, there were only two dual ones on the market and this one definitely had the advantages. The fact that you can turn it to only one room or the other and adjust between the lengths of time in each room was a big win. The different colored lights for each child was also really helpful for moms (and dads) trying to decipher cries in the middle of the night.

One thing I didn't like was that there was no way to mute it but still have it on. That would be VERY helpful for those evenings when we don't want to listen to tantrums but want to keep an eye on things. As it is, you either have to turn it off of listen to the screaming. Another thing is that when off their bases, they don't seem to hold a very long charge. No matter how long we leave it charging, it won't make it even 1/2 way through the...
...

We had in inherited an old monitor from family members, and needed to find a new one because of the wear and tear after 3 kids. We shopped around and looked at other reviews. We bought the Sony 900mhz at first, but there was a lot of interference. It was hard to hear our daughter at all unless she was actively crying. We bought the imonitor and love it. The sound quality is good. The volume adjustment is very convenient. When my daughter is sick we can turn it up to attend to her more closely. We haven't had it long, but are very pleased so far....

this monitor is absolutely great. It has a really good range, clear sound, light displays whenever sounds get louder in the room where the baby is. It also has a battery indicator light and it also lights up when you are getting out of range as well as the fact that it makes a beeping noise! Great monitor....

I really like the Imonitor a lot. I have a baby with a congenital heart defect so it is important that I know when he is awake or crying excessively, because it puts too much stress on him; so I have to get to him and calm him right away. I got the monitor because I have housework that I need to get done downstairs at home, but when I go down there I can't hear when he is awake. With the Imonitor I can hear even when he rubs his feet on the blanket. It is really sensitive! I also use it when my other kids are downstairs playing. This helps with knowing what is going on. Such as when they come to tell me that so-and-so did this or that. I was able to hear what was going on in the whole room so this alleviates the need to listen to them argue about what happened. As far as range, I took it down the street 5 houses before it started to break up. The one thing that was important to me was rechargeable, which it has, except for the base. It can be plugged in or it takes batteries. I suppose...
...

This is kind of a follow up for those of you who enjoyed by Fisher-Price monitor review. The Graco Baby iMonitor Multi-child Digital Baby Monitor is the replacement for the Fisher-Price monitor we hated. Aside from the length of it's name and it's price, the monitor is TONS better!

The iMonitor is designed to allow you to monitor either two room or two sleeping children at the same time. The parental units come with dual lights that signify which room the noise is coming from. My husband origianally had difficulty remembering in the dead of night which color belonged to which kid. If you find yourself as out of it at 2am as he is, just label your unit and you will be fine. Of course getting up and wandering down the hall knowing that one of them needs you would work too (my approach).

The sound quality of the iMonitor was a vast improvement over any analog monitor I have heard. There is not constant droan, hiss or static that we had become accustomed to. This monitor never...
...
