Hi i am a working mom with three kids. My youngsters are two and one. my son has shown me that he can get out of most car seats. But Graco 's car seat has kept him safe for over two years. It is good looking, affordable and very easy to handle. It is able to fit most vehicles. If you are a busy parent and you are safety concious. Then this car seat will serve you well.

The car seat is equiped with multi adjustment levels for seat belt comfortability. It comes in more than one shade and style. the frame is very sturdy and the seat cover is very easy to clean. which when you have little people this can be very important. They can make a mess with just about anything. The seat can be forward facing or rear facing and most importantly. Your child will enjoy riding in it. so if you are looking for a car seat that has character and durability. Then this is the car seat for you. and if you are a mom who is a single parent. Then this is a good buy because it can be used by more than one child ....
...

Any 1st time parent can probably empathize with me about scouring parenting books and magazines looking for the top recommended car seats, play yards, diapers, wipes ... anything that touches your little one's skin.

Probably the most time consuming task was selecting a car seat and with such a selection out there, you must know that the Graco Snugride 32 must be a 5-star in my eyes to be my final choice.

To get a 5-star, I rated on safety, portability, affordability, and relevance. You'll see a lot of the criterion will blend into each other.
...

sstodgell says "Great, Safe, first car seat for your newborn" about Graco SafeSeat

We registered for this car seat for its safety ratings and its look. The more we read, the more we liked. This is one of the FEW infant carriers that is rated for children weighing up to 30 lbs. instead of just 22 lbs. Alot of babies weigh 20 lbs at six months of age so you are having to buy a new car seat at 7 months instead of 12 months like you were planning. We got 13 month use out of this carseat and our son still wasn't at the weight requirement but was nearing the height of 32 inches. It was a really great seat that also turned into a really great deal! Another thing that we absolutely loved was the ease of cleaning the material on the French Roast Graco Safe Seat! It is wipeable but soft. It doesn't absorb immediately so it is easy to wipe down. The car seat fits newborns and older infants snug and it fits really great in smaller vehicles and bigger. The base on the safe seat is a bit bigger and really easy to install as opposed to the other car seat bases! It seemed the safest...
...

I really like this carseat it was a reasonably price. I purchased it and right in the parking lot i put it in.There wasnt alot of bulk packaging it was just wrapped in a plastic covering. I got it at wal mart. The carseat comes in blue and pink with a cute pattern. It has a cup holder that snaps right on side. Also the cover is removable and easy to clean. You just pull it off and throw into the washer, let it air dry and you are good to go. My kids are a little larger than the kids their age so their was plenty of room for them. The weight is up to a hundred pounds so their is plenty of room for them to grow. The straps are easy to adjust. IF you want to tighten the straps the strap is right in front and all you do is pull.It has a extra strap that holds the seat in place very tight. I have already recommended this carseat to some of my freinds. This is also my third time purchasing this car seat since I have four kids.
...

have purchased a new graco safeseat car seat for my infant and it has been amazing. the graco car seat has gave me the peace of mind that my baby is safe riding in the car or just sitting in his car seat and he is safe at all times no matter what. it looks very trendy and not too bright colored. it is very convienent to put into the car with the already installed booster that stays strapped into the car. it has a dial on the side that lets me know my baby is sitting perfectly in his car seat or if he needs adjusting for full safety installation.
...

Like I said earlier, I love my Graco Safe Seat. And I have been using it now for 3 years. I am currently using it for my second child. It is very easy to get in and out of the car and very light weight. I love that I can take it apart and clean it very easily. And I also can put it back together without my husbands help. Very user friendly. The dark colors makes it easy to hide the dirt also in between cleanings. It us also compatiable with the graco scroller I have. I just love it and it was a gift I recieved and so would purchase it for someone else. Since I have had the carseat, since 2007 I have not had one problem with it. It is very dependable. And I know it was rather in expensive also. That is also a postive in todays society. Due to the over pricing of merchidise. Price is always a factor. Along with saftely. But price is a big factor too. Its nice to see that Graco can offer merchidise that is safe along with being cost effective.
...

kenitcher says "This carseat is awesome!" about Graco SafeSeat

We thoroughly researched infant car seats and tested them out in a baby store. We chose the Graco Safe Seat because of the higher weight limit (30 lbs. vs. 22 lbs. for the Graco Snugride), as well as the fabric (others seemed like they would make the baby sweat) and we liked the feel of the handle. We also purchased an extra base for the 2nd car. We are very pleased with this product- it's easy to take in and out of the car with the baby inside, and it was easy to adjust the size settings as our baby grew. It gets heavy to carry around as the baby grows, so I recommend buying a car seat frame or stroller to put the seat in (we have both). Cons- it does not fit easily in shopping carts. The sunscreen has a window that seems unnecessary, and just serves to let the sun into the baby's face. I would recommend this carseat to anyone who is looking for a infant car seat with higher weight limits, to hopefully get a year out of the seat.
...

We were given a Graco SafeSeat for our baby shower. We had used a Graco SnugRide with our other son and already knew and trusted the Graco name. We love the SafeSeat. The fabric is very soft and plush. The straps are smooth and do not have rough edges. The harness/buckle system is easy to use. The carseat fits in the car well and snaps securely in the base unit. A nice feature this base has over the other bases is a twist dial where you can adjust the angle of the seat to make sure it is installed properly. This is very simple to use especially if you use the latch system. The carseat is a little larger than the SnugRide version and can be a little bulky depending on how much room you have in your backseat. We regularly use the carseat in the matching stroller. Removing the carseat from the base in the car and attaching it to the stroller is very simple. Overall we are very pleased with the performance of this carseat.

The only problem that we have had with the SafeSeat...
...

Penguinelk says "The Graco SafeSeat seat will last you a long time." about Graco SafeSeat

I purchased this seat thinking it was like all the other infant carriers. I really liked how the stroller part of the travel system worked. I didn't realize how long this seat would last us.

The Graco SafeSeat is the only infant carrier that can hold children up to 30 pounds and 32" tall! My son is 13 months and can still use this seat for many months. I like that even though he is bigger than a newborn, I can allow him to sleep if he falls asleep during travel. I don't have to wake him to transfer him to a stroller.

I like that I can keep my son rear facing until at least 18 months (doctor's prediction) in this seat without having to buy a new rear facing or convertible seat. With all the new safety data available, we want to keep him rear facing as long as possible.

This seat has a very easy strap adjustment button between baby's legs. Also, there is no need to rethread the carseat when adjusting the shoulder straps due to a simple strap adjust feature.

Yes, it is heavy...
...

bs85r says "Very easy to install and use" about Graco SafeSeat

The Graco Safe Seat infant car seat is a great product that fits baby up until they weigh 30 pounds, rear facing. It is very easy to install and is a secure, tight fit, when installed. The fabric is easy to clean and is an attractive design. I really like the easy to adjust shoulder straps. With the push of a button, you can loosen the straps to get baby buckled or unbuckled with ease, and then you just pull a strap to tighten them back up. This can be used with or without a car seat base, so if you need to take baby somewhere and don't have the base, no problem. This seat also fits the Graco travel system strollers, both the single and double strollers. The one drawback that I find with this car seat is the weight of it. It is a very heavy infant car seat carrier. With the added weight of baby, you do get a workout with lifting and carrying. I have used other infant seats that are much lighter. Overall, I am very happy with this item, even though it could be lighter...
...

We really liked the Graco Safeseat for our daughter when she was an infant. We purchased this carseat based on the safety ratings, but I was also drawn to the seat based on the style of the seat. This seat came in the pattern we were looking for. We chose this seat over the SnugRide because the infant can use this seat up to 30 pounds, however, our daughter is under 25 pounds and has long outgrown this seat. She would technically still fit, but it doesn't seem like it would be comfortable for her and we certainly would not want to carry her around in it. We liked that this seat fit nicely into our Bumbleride Flyer stroller...I wanted a stroller that was a little more stylish than those offered with the travel systems. I'd recommend this carseat for any new mom. It is safe, reliable, easy to use with the base and comes in various stylish patterns. It is also easy to use for travel because it is simple to install with the seatbelt. Great carseat!
...

Our original reason for purchasing the SafeSeat infant carseat was because with our last baby we had an Evenflo carseat that only went up to 22 lbs and 26 inches. While my daughter was tiny and would still fit in it now, at 2 years old, according to the weight limit, she neared the 26 inch height limit around 8 months so we had to buy a convertible carseat for her.

This time I wanted something that would last my new infant longer. The SafeSeat was very new when I was pregnant with my first child so I never really looked into it, but I began wishing we'd had one shortly after she was born. So when I found out we were having another, I began scouring stores and websites for which SafeSeat I wanted. I found a comparable option, the Chicco Keyfit 30, which go to 30 lbs and 30 inches. It looked like a wonderful seat, and had it gone to 32 inches I probably would have chosen it over the SafeSeat for a variety of reasons, but because babies tend to outgrow the height limits before the weight...
...
