Nothing's more important than keeping your child safe. The Graco Bravo Nautilus 3-in-1 car seat is designed for both versatility and safety, offering right-size comfort and protection as your child grows. This carseat is fantastic! I also, like some of the others have a big 2 1/2 year old. I did a ton of research a couple of months ago to find a big booster for him and at that time, I found the Evenflo generations seat. I liked it, but then I happened to see this one in Wal-mart. The Evenflo is being returned! Oh my word, I knew I would have to have it. Of course the store I was in only had the display model. I had to call around to all of the surrounding stores to see if they had one, even though the online info. said they did, some did not have one. I finally found one and they held if for me. So I drove an hour (which took me almost 2 hours) in the snow and picked it up. I'm so glad that I did! We love it!
It's big and sturdy and will hold up to my son. I don't feel like it's going to...
...

My Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat seems to be very safe and comfortable. We have a Britax Marathon and we were looking for a backup seat for grandma's car/etc when we found this one.
The only thing I cared about in a seat was that it harnessed longer than 40lbs, and this one does! up to 65lbs!
We got it home and had to keep it in the living room for about a week because my daughter fell in love with it. I love that it has a cup holder and cubby holes on both arm rests for all her little things she's just gotta take with us in the car.
my daughter is 3.5 years old 36inches tall and 38lbs
She's still on the bottom slot for the belts on this one with the headrest pushed all the way down so this seat will last a very long time, also it turns into a booster after 65lbs, which means we don't need to buy another seat ever again for her!
The set up was a little funky, but after looking in the book it wasn't hard to figure out. Easy to install for either the latch system or in my case normally, the...
...

We bought the graco nautilus after my child outgrew her britax. I was looking for a safe, functional, and comfortable seat that would keep my daughter in a 5-point restraint system. This seat is working perfectly. She never complains of being uncomfortable, it's easy to use/install and looks nice. I thought the built in cupholder a little over the top when I bought it but now I can't imagine not having one (solved the blind grabbing while driving when my daughter keeps insisting I take "it" back or keeps her from tossing her drinks on the floorboard. the seat is a little bulky, but since we have only SUVs and trucks it's not a problem for us. I love how long I'll be able to use the seat, it lasts up to 100 lbs!
...

My son outgrew his other convertable carseat when he was almost three. I was not comfortable with the thought of him being out of a five point harness at that time, so I began to shop around. The Graco Natilus 3-in-1 is an awesome seat, he still fits in harness and he justy turned five and then it transfers to a high back booster, and finally to a regular booster. This was the best $150 that I have spent, and I will never have to buy another carseat. I highly reccommend this seat, and the price is actually a deal considering it is three seats in one. The only drawback is that I have notices that cloth on the seat has started to discolor where it is hit by the sun, but that is just a minor problem and I did not even notice it until I took the seat out to clean it. There are cup holders and built in pocket areas, I usually store a few toys in them so that my son has something to play with in the car.
...

We bought our Graco Nautilus 3-1 car seat in May 2009 right after my son's first birthday. This car seat has been wonderful. First I like the look of the seat. It has a nice color pallet of grey and black with a splash of red. More importantly this seat is very safe. We really wanted a 3-1 car seat so we didn't have to go out and buy a booster seat once our son grew bigger. It is also very easy to use. You can easily adjust the straps when they have bulkier clothing on and there is a cup holder on the chair for a cup or in my son's case usually a toy. My son is usually very happy in his car seat and appears comfortable. I was very happy that his head does not flop around when he falls asleep in his car seat. The seat is very easy to install as well. We have often moved it from one vehicle to another in just minutes. I also think this is a great car seat for your money. I bought my seat at Babies R Us during a sale and used one of their store coupons. We only...
...

The Graco Nautilus 3-in 1 Car Seat is a really new carseat on the market, first debuting at Wal-Mart, then Babies R Us and Burlington Coat Factory. The seat was almost impossible to find at first, because of how fast the few that were in the stores were selling, but I managed to get one of the first.

My daughter was just 4yrs old and I knew her Britax Laptop (her spare seat) would be expiring soon (August of 2008) and I was already thinking about what to do when I found out about the release of this seat.

I had thought that I would have to put her in a booster or get her a ride safer vest, as I did not want to spend the money on another Radian. She only has a couple of inches left in her Radian that is in my van, so it just didn't seem practical, yet I didn't want to put her in a booster seat even as a spare yet, because she is so wiggly and 4yrs and 40lbs is the bare minimum recommended for booster use.

I was thrilled that this seat looked like it would do everything I wanted. It......

This is a great seat. I needed a replacement that would convert to a booster when my 6 year old got taller. I was impressed with this option. I have a radian 80 in my other car, which I love but it doesn't convert (I don't think she will outgrow it though but it is a narrow seat and luckily she is a narrow child).
...

After reading many reviews of the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 carseat, I finally made the decision to buy one for my then 4 year old son. While $150 is a good chunk of change for most anyone, I will never need to buy my son another carseat. This seat is forward-facing only, so in my opinion should only be used on children 2 and up. The harness holds to 65 lbs, and I liked that not only are the straps stiff enough that they don't twist easily, but they also have the comfort pads at the shoulders so the seat's harness does not rub against the child's neck (also helps with seat belt burn in an accident). When my son outgrows the harness, by either weight, or height, the seat converts first to a high backed booster, and then a low back booster, giving us the ability to use this for years to come. And we CAN actually use it for years, because of the extended life of the booster seat. I have been very pleased with this carseat and will be buying one for my other child soon. My son also...
...

I got this seat for my 3.5 year old who was reaching the height limit on her Britax Marathon. She is a very tall girl so I was looking for something that could harness her as long as possible. This seat has one of the highest harnessing heights and it converts into a high back and then no back booster up to a 100 pounds so it is the last seat I will ever have to buy her. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the buckle gets stuck on one side and it can be a real pain to get it out. Other than that, my daughter is very comfortable in the seat and it was extremely easy to put together and install. It was much cheaper than some of the other higher weight harnessing systems on the market which was great since I was on a budget. She picked a colorful pink print so she is proud to ride in her seat and I have no problems getting her in it. I will be picking up another one for my son when he outgrows his seat rear facing!
...

I bought a Graco Nautilus when they first came out for my son. He was about a year and a half at the time, and we were having another baby so he got moved up. :) I did a lot of research, and although this car seat was new it got a lot of positive buzz from people on the car seat safety baby board I visited. Well he is now three, and my daughter is one and a half, and also ready to move up. Im so excited that these now come in pink! They look great in the back seat. I drive Hyundai Elantra, and have one on each side. I love the cupholders, and so do the kids. They aren't those cheapy kind you clip on, they are built into the car seat. If we have another child, we will get another Nautilus! They are car seats that are in for the long haul! They go up to 100 lbs!!! (Of course we would need bigger car, there is no way you could fit three of these across) My favorite part is that the five point harness goes up to 65 lbs! Anyway this is a great car seat!
...

when i went looking for a car seat i looked at alot. I found this 3-1 car seat and even thou it was the most expensive ( $175.00 USD) i did the math. what i determind was that where it may cost me alot now, in the long run it will pay itself off. i started using it when my daughter was 9 months old ad about 15lbs. when i say "pay its self off" i mean that you can buy a infant carseat that will last till the child is about 20 lbs, then buy one that will go till they are 60 lbs, but then you have to buy a booster seat till they weight atleast 100 lbs. which is the law. So now you done speant buy the time you get all these car seats at least $250.00-$275.00 USD. where if you just get the 3-1 you have all 3, hence the name. the child should probley be at least 20 lbs when you first start to use it and they can hold their head up but you can keep using it till they are 75 lbs, and then make it a booster seat till they are 100 lbs. It is light to carry hardly takes up any room , no more then...
...

We have both of our kids in the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat seats and they're great. I love the fact that they can be used up to 65 pounds with the harness, with the seat belt as a booster, and as a backless boster! The cupholder is great because it is built in to the armrest and the little storage cubbies in the arms are a great place for my kids to store all their little "treasures." The latches are pretty easy to use, too.

I know other reviewers wish this seat were convertible (able to be used rear-facing), but I don't think the seats would be as great if they had to be able to be rear-facing. The convertible seats we have in my husband's car are cumbersome and a pain in the neck to convert the latches from rear to forward facing configurations.

The only con is that I wish the fabric were a little easier to take off and clean. They are, however easier than most other car seats (except Britax).
...
