This is a good swing for it's price. Baby loves the mobile that comes with it. The music choices are great classics. The nature sounds are a bit off, but baby likes them. The noise from the motor is a bit louder than I wanted, but it doesn't seem to bother the baby. Love it!

We have used this swing for both of our sons and it has held up well. I feel safe putting my 4 month old in it to fold laundry or do dishes. He really enjoys looking at the animals on the swing, and loves the white noise feature. The material on the swing is SO soft, which we love. For now we actually put a soft blanket behind our son, as he seems a bit small in the swing still.

This swing is very nice and worth the money. Setting it up was very easy and took no time at all. It also has a nice harness that makes me feel safe leaving my son in it because I know he will not fall out. My son was a very fussy baby and always wanted to be held. Finally someone got this swing for me when he was about 2 months old and it worked great. I was finally able to sit him down and get some free time. The swing is made very nice and has held up well. I have the Catalina pattern and it matches my travel system and my pack n play. My son likes to watch the owls that swing around on the mobile and he likes the soothing music that is played. I am having baby number two soon and I am sure he will like this swing just as much as his brother did. I recomend this swing to anyone who is looking for a quality product for a good price. I hope you get as much joy and use out of it as I did.

This swing was by far the best piece of baby equipment that we had! For the first 2 months, my daugher wasn't sleeping through the night. I'm sure that's common but as a first time mom, it was killing me. She wanted to be held and rocked. One day, I put her in the swing and she fell asleep for her nap. I love the fact that I could put it on a faster setting and then slow it down after she fell asleep. Then one night, I figured if she would nap in the swing, why not sleep in it at night. It was snug around her and the gentle motion helped calm her down. She slept the whole night!! We moved the swing from the family room into her bedroom and she slept in it for months!! As she got older, she would sleep in her bed but still loved to sit in the swing during the day and for naps. The mobile on the swing is a bit bland so I added another little toy that was more colorful and I also added toys to the tray. The weight limit was pretty large and my daughter ended up out-growing...

We put this swing on our registry when we were pregnant with our daughter and a family member ended up buying it for us. We were very happy and thought we would use it all the time! We didn't end up using it as much as we thought we would but not because of the swing.

When we did use the swing, our daughter liked it. It was something different for her to do. She could swing as well as look at the bears on the mobile. She absolutely loved looking at the bears! When she was really small, it was hard for her to see the bears as she would have to strain her neck, but we were able to position it a little better for her to see them.

She didn't always like to stay in the swing for very long but sometimes she did fall asleep. I felt that it was a secure fit for her, and the different speeds allowed you to find the perfect setting. I also loved the different sounds that you could play. For me, that was one of the better features of the swing.

I have several points of contention with the Graco Lovin' Hug Swing. I think it's unfair to rate a product based on how individual babies respond to it (for the record, my baby haaaaaaates this swing), so this review is my take on the product itself.

The biggest problem is the mobile. When the swing is on any speed other than 1, the mobile turns towards the back and well out of view of the baby. The stuffed animals, while cute, are not visually stimulating, so even if baby could see them they wouldn't add much to the experience. Also, beware: if you put the mobile on the right side, it interferes with the swing's motor.

The tray is difficult to snap on, and very noisy. It makes a loud noise going on or off that can startle the baby.

The white noise feature provides white noise as promised; unfortunately, so does the music feature. Roll over Beethoven indeed!

I'm not sure why the swing has a 5 point restraint system, but it seems excessive to me. Speed 6 isn't *that* fast. I opted not to...

I bought the Graco Lovin Hug Swing for each one of my sons. My first son had very difficult sleeping patterns for the first few months, and this swing saved my sanity! He would have trouble falling asleep unless he was feeding or in motion, and driving around the block at 4 am quickly got old! I relied on this swing to help me get a little sleep. My son would sleep for the longest periods of time in this swing, and it worked wonders for my second son as well. It has 6 levels of speed to choose from, as well as some pre-programmed music options. I loved that you could choose from music, white noise, a sound that resembled what they would hear in the womb and so on so you could customize it and use what works for your child. There is also a tray on the front, which clicks in to hold the child in. It has compartments in it for snacks or toys, which is also great, and the back of the seat is adjustable from laying back for sleeping, to sitting upright for eating or playing. The downside in...

After researching all the swings out there, we decided to register for this one based on other parent reviews and online consumer reviews. First of all, this swing is safe and sturdy and will accomodate our son as he grows. Second - it is great for newborns since it will recline to a size-appropriate position. Third - it is attractive and has great sound for such a small box and plays a wide variety of sounds. It runs on batteries (I would not want a cord to an electric outlet for safety reasons anyway), but if you are a smart parent you'll invest in a good battery recharger, rechargeable batteries and a back up set for all the toys that run on batteries anyway.
This swing is a lifesaver because it keeps the baby in motion without you having to rock in a rocking chair, so you have time to do other things (like wash the endless bottles). My 8-week old son loves the swing so much he actually sleeps for 2-3 hours in it!

The Graco Lovin' Hug Bab Swing is the best babysitter you could find. Meaning that while Mom is wanting the baby to be happy and it is sleepy time you can't find a better way than to put baby in the swing and watch him or her quietly doze off to nite nite. With the safety features the swing has you can relax and know that baby is secure and safe. When baby awakes there is the toys on the toy bar to amuse, and occupy the baby and the music it plays is just so nice. It is lullaby to their little ears. The swing is movement activated so will automatically start up when the baby starts to stir around. I would recommend this Graco Lovin' Hug Baby Swing to any mother who wants to keep her baby happy and content. When mommy is busy it is a very safe place for baby to be and it is adjustable for the positions baby like to rest in. Very nice to have.

When I was registering for baby items when I was first expecting, A wwing is one of thos ethings I didn't register for. We don't have a lot of room in our livingroom and I didn't want all these things thrown all over - swings, exercausers, bouncy chairs - etc. But one of my girlfriends picks up this Graco swing for us. We set it up right away when we got home and it's really a nice looking, no frills, basic swing that swings back and forth. The first night back from teh hospital we put our son in there while he was awake and let him rock a bit. After a few minutes he went right to sleep. We tried it again a little later and sure enough, he went back down to sleep. From that moment on we called it the "magic swing" because no matter what - even if it took 10 minutes, it would lul him to sleep. as he got older we would raise the incline on the seat so he was sitting more upright. This Graco swing is quiet, with multiple speeds, songs, and seat adjustments.

The swing is durable and can be easily cleaned. Cover is removable and can be thrown in washing machine. It comes in various patterns and can be purchased to match the playpen and other accessories. Mine was purchased for me for the birth of my first daughter and because it was a unisex color I also used it for my son. It was very sturdy so no worries about it tipping over like older swings.

Even though it does use batteries it did not need changed much. I believe it took 4 D batteries.

The swing has multiple positions so it is very comfortable and easy to use for younger babies. No need for towels to prop the baby up, because they could recline where it was comfortable for them.

The price is very reasonable and after I was done with it I sold it on craigslist for $40. This is definitly a good investment for any new or experienced mother.

I didn't know which swing to register for so I had a co-worker choose it for me. She did a FANTASTIC job! The Graco Lovin' Hug swing is just perfect. It plays classical music and nature sounds and has 6 speed settings for the swing. My baby loves to play in it and also to be lulled to sleep by the sounds and the swinging motion. My only complaint is that there is not a plug for the wall. I highly recommend this swing to all moms!

I love this swing. I just had a baby boy named Kaleb, and he is two months old. He has had a hard time getting to sleep, so I thought maybe if I got him a swing he would be a lot happier. It has been wonderful to have, especially since he is hard to get to sleep. I think the graco swing was the best twenty five dollars I have ever spent. The swing is a greyish green color, and has a little toy built on it. THe speeds go up to six, and it also plays some classical music. It really soothes my child, and boy does he love to swing. I think he really enjoys it. I do not know who invented the baby swing, but I have to say that it is the best invention that I have used in a long time, I am so happy that I have this graco swing, and I know Kaleb is happy too. I believe that all new mothers should try a baby swing whether it is graco or another brand name swing. I guarantee that you will be completley satisfied with your decision. I think if I had never bought the swing, I probably would be going...
