The main reason I bought this highchair was because of the way it folded up--it will fit in the tiny space between our fridge and kitchen cabinets so it's out of the way most of the time. The other good thing about this high chair is that it is very sturdy. I don't ever worry that it will topple over when expanded. The biggest drawbacks for me 1) the tray is too large to fit inside the dishwasher, so I have to hand wash it every time. 2) there are a lot of crevices in the fabric of the seat where food gets stuck. The brown fabric has a texture that grabs food-- cleaning up avocado or eggs is a nightmare!

If I were making a highchair purchase again, I would choose one that is all solid plastic so I could do a better job of sponge cleaning it after every meal. I wish I could put the whole thing in the shower or under the hose to deep clean it. Yes, you can remove the cover for laundering, and you do get an extra cover, but it's a five minute operation with a zillion snaps. Too much work for...

I was reluctant to buy a high chair at all, seeing so many giant, ugly chairs on the market that all look the same and do the same thing -- they never seemed to fols up small enough either. Then I found the Graco Contempo. It's not the most modern looking chair out there, but there are a few color/design choices that blend in, and it became really important for our daughter to "sit to the table" with us at dinner time, just from convenience and development standpoints. The chair has many heights, and can be used with the large trays (1 plus a 2nd tray that fits over it), or the very small divided tray under the large trays, which is perfect for bottle-feeding and without the large trays she can sit right up to the table! She has been comfortable in it since 6 months, and the seat reclines which is also good for her comfort in eating from the bottle. We stick a toy on the tray and she sits in the kitchen while we cook dinner sometimes, and she loves that. It is also sturdy but...

We received this high chair as a gift off of our registry. We started using it when our baby was about 4 months old and starting table foods. It has multiple hight adjustments, as well as the ability to recline in 3 positions. The tray slides easily and has a removable tray if you want to run it through the dishwasher. We find it easier just to wipe the tray down at this point. The seat back fabric cleans easily and is stylish. I don't remember the name of the pattern, but it is brown and blue- it matches our decor nicely. The high chair does fold flat, but we find it easier to leave it set up in the corner of the room. The problem with the fold, although very slim, it that there is no place to put the tray. Another problem is that the five-point harness, although very safe, tends to get lost under the baby when trying to strap him in. He is very impatient to be fed, and it is hard to find the straps under him. Overall, this highchair is easy to clean, lightweight,...

I bought our first Graco Contempo high chair about a year ago for my daughter. I just bought another one about a month ago for my son. I really like the high chair. There is a tray with a tray insert, so effectively you have two trays. The coolest thing about the tray is there are two ways to put it on and take it off. You have two handles, one on each side that you can depress to take off the tray, or you have one in the front. It's really nice when you're putting squirmy babies in the chair to have the option. Each chair came with two covers. That's nice when you can't get one washed fast enough. Under the cover there is another cover with a hard back that offers the support. It is machine washable as well, when you have really dirty kids (which I do). I've thrown them all in the dryer, but prefer to air dry them on our back patio. Once I did the covers once it's been easy since. I highly suggest reading the directions. Probably would have made my life a lot easier. ;)

The Graco Contempo is a very good high chair -- folds slim, nice looking, "adult" colors (mine is Birkshire), great dual tray that pops on easily and securely, restraint belts that also go on easily and securely. Very safe and sturdy. I thought that the multiple height adjustment would be important but actually -- I just keep it on the top one -- never a reason to move it when in use! The issues I have with it are that the locks on the wheels do not keep the chair from moving around on wood floors; the latches to pull the seat down from a folded position are awkward -- feel like I need a third hand somehow; and I don't like that they put a hard-to-remove sticker right on the base for the tray (which can also be used as a mini-tray itself) -- not very hygienic. Oh and when the seat is folded and you are trying to transport it, it doesn't stay in the shortest position but instead pulls up full height...at least mine doesn't. Kind of silly design flaws but otherwise -- I...

We are very happy with our Graco Contempo High Chair purchase. It folds up great for storage but is pretty big - so you need to have a good amount of space to store it. It cleans up well and the chair back is washable but we've never had to take it off to machine wash because we just wash it with a cloth and it's like new (clean-up is important to us). This chair has a double tray (one snaps onto the other) so you can use the top one for the majority of the messy part of dinner. We then take the top one off and clean it while she is finishing up with dessert (cookies, juice). However, we do get annoyed with how bulky the trays are. My husband usually only wants to use and clean the top one since it is much smaller than the base tray.

Our daughter is 16 months now and eats in a booster during snack time but we prefer to use this chair for the big meals of the day. This was definitely a good purchase and comes highly recommended! Oh and this chair is attractive and gender-neutral!

This highchair has been great for us. It is very easy to fold up and to clean. The 5 point safety harness was great when our son first started to use the chair and still keeps him safe and secure today. One of the reasons that we bought it was because of reading so many positve reviews and we have been very satisfied with this chair!

We didn't want to end up with a high chair that we wouldn't be happy with, so we splurged a little when it came to this purchase. We bought our Graco Contempo High Chair at our local Babies R Us for just over $100.00, and though it might sound a tad expensive, it has been worth every penny. The reason we ended up settling on this particular Graco model was its maneuverability and the fact that it didn't take up much space when not in use. The additional benefits were that it was of sturdy construction and had several safety features that would protect our little baby while she was being fed.

The bad design is different depending on the season and when you go to the store to purchase one, as Graco makes several different contemporary backs. Ours has a slightly polka dot feet to it at the top where the design is located. There are five straps on the high chair that all hook together very easily so that the baby can't squirm away while eating, and they make it so that she is held...

I bought this wonderful Graco Contempo high chair when I had my third child. The house we were living in at the time had a smaller kitchen and to leave a high chair set up all the time would mean not being able to access all my cupboards. That was in 2006 and I still think this was one of my best buys ever! It folds up so compactly it can be stored so easily. It's simple to clean, I can move it around easily. It's comfy and it reclines. I've just had my 4th child and he is just 3 months old but I am looking forward to pulling out the high chair for him. I bough pretty much an entire line of Graco products in 2006 when I had my 3rd child in coordinating patterns and I love them all but this is one of my very favorites.

The ONLY drawback as far as I can see is that my particular one has a bunch of animals on the design and I wasn't thrilled with that but I see they have much better designs now. Another drawback would be that it's more expensive than the ones that don't fold...

The Graco Contempo High Chair is a good buy. It is very comfortable and my toddler is happy to sit in it for a full meal time and sometimes falls asleep in it. The price was not bad either, and it will last until the toddler reaches the dining table.

This seat does however, take up too much room due to the angle of the legs, therefore you need a large kitchen to accommodate it. It is attractive looking and comfortable. It is not very easy to adjust, though. There are some toys attachable to it, which keep the toddler busy while you prepare the meal or feed him.

The tray is removable, therefore making it easy to clean. However, there are several places you cannot easily reach and clean as the cloth covering it does not come off.

The high chair can be adjusted as your toddler grows as there are notches on the seat belts. It should last till the toddler starts eating at the dining table.

This is a good high chair for your toddler. I am glad I bought it and recommend it to all my friends....

Hello mother well let me start by saying i am a mother of six children two sets of twins and two sing no fertility pills like all of theses tv star parents just an acutual mother who takes care of evryone in her house hold anywat i have tried many products over the years when i had my first set of twin in 1998 i barly new what to buy what i needed and what products were good but now when i had my last baby who is six months i knew what was good and what wasnt great. and i just love this graco conyempo highchair.

My daughter has now started to sit up on her own so me zand my husband new we needed a highchair and when i saw this one and how easy it was for me to clean once i got it home and she made a mess and as for storage since i have kids running threw here like crazy and she is in her walker as well being able to fold it up and put it away made it even better for my home.

S as a mom i recommend this to first time moms and parents who dont have alot of space in there home.

The highchair is super simple to set up and fold away. I love that it comes with 2 seat cushions as my little one is just starting solids and most ends up outside of his mouth. It folds very slim for easy storage in the pantry. The trays are dishwasher safe making clean-up a breeze The adjustable height is nice to have. The multi positioning back had easy one handed adjustments. My only complaint is that it should come with the attachable toys. Everything says they are sold separately, but I have not been able to find them.

I love this high chair. I use it for my business because it's easy to put in the car and transport. There isn't a smaller high chair on the market.

The biggest issue is that if you have a large child still using a high chair this might not be the one for you. It really is for kids who are on the smaller side. If they are reaching beyond 2 you wouldn't want to use this one. It may seem flimsy.

I have had one case where a child with downs needed a high chair and she was already 3.5 and this wasn't the best option for her.

Graco Contempo High Chair is a great chair. It is the only one I have used but i like it. I can be holding my son and remove the tray with the other hand. I also like that it has a removeable top tray so that after he gets eveything messy I can just wipe his hands and face and remove the top tray with all the dirty on it with out worrying that everything will be everywhere before I can take him out. The only down side to the removeable tray is that if you put a sucktion toy on it they can pull the tray off. All in all I really like it. ...

This high chair is just as good as the more expensive ones.. Being a mother of to and working in the child care profession I've seen alot of models and makes, this one cleans well and is very easy to move. It serves its purpose well!!!
