This car seat is perfect for a toddler between the ages of 2 to 4 years. The carseat does not have a wide footprint, so it fits easily in a compact car such as a Toyota Corolla. It has the swinging arm in front, which provides unparalled safety and also serves as a headrest or even a stand for a book. This armrest can also be extended to accomodate a growing kid. The straps are also extensible and can be adjusted as the kid grows. The most convenient part is the easy latch at the bottom of the carseat. Just one click straps the kid down and just one press of a button unlatches the straps.

The best part of the carseat is the removable cover which can be repeatedly washed and easily removed from the carseat. The carseat also features a soft foam-lined seat cushion which makes it comfortable on a long drive. The straps also have the 3-point harness if required, but we have rarely used that. The normal carseat belt just secures the seat firmly. Overall, it has served us well and we are still...
...

tabbynjohnny says "My daughter and I love the Graco ComfortSport" about Graco ComfortSport Car Seat

The Graco ComfortSport convertible carseat has been by far the best carseat I have purchased, and I have purchased six carseats between my two children. My daughter has loved this seat from day one. It's extra cushiony and very secure. I was able to use it from day one because it is for five to thirty pounds rear facing and tweenty to forty pounds foward facing. The seat cushion itself is machine washable and very durable. I have washed it several times and slipped it right back on the seat. There is also a headrest type pillow and a cupholder for when your child gets older. For parents that have the latch system in their vechile it comes with the latch equipment to install it. There is also an indicator on the side of the seat that lets you know if the seat is level. The particular style I have is the Angelica, which is an adorable pink pattern for little girls. This particualr carseat is available in nineteen different styles all ranging from ordinary and neutral colors to pinks...
...

khotek says "Seemed fine at first, but quickly fell apart" about Graco ComfortSport Car Seat

I bought this car seat and was excited about the cute girly print and pretty good reviews, and I always though Graco was a reliable brand. Unfortunately I'm afraid many of the reviews must have been written before using this seat for a while, unless I just got a lemon. First the pros:

1. Low price

2. Fairly easy to install latch system, although i don't think any are really easy :)

Cons:

1. The straps drive me OUT OF MY MIND! They get so twisted, and it is impossible to untwist them and keep them that way. They actually twisted inside of the plastic chest clip pieces, and I have a really hard time moving them. Not to mention i feel this makes them somewhat unsafe, as it becomes hard to get them adjusted and tightened at the right level.

2. 40 pound weight limit is low compared to many convertibles on the market.

3. The seat cover started falling apart. I only took it off and washed it one time and let it air dry, and it does not fit back on like it should, plus the material itself is ripping....
...

I just purchased two Graco ComfortSport Car seats since the ones we had for my 2 and 3 year old daughter are expiring. We got them at Target on sale. I just took out our old seats and installed the new cute pink seats and they are easy to install in my minivan and look really comfortable for my daughters to ride in. I had to put one of them in the way back seat due to room and there is only one latch system in the back, so I had to install that one with a regular car seat. It was easy to do also. My daughters love the butterfly pattern on them and are so excited to get new seats. My older daughter usually doesn't like change, but is now open to giving up her convertable car seat to our youngest. The price was pretty good for the quality. We paid $60 on sale at Target. I was also thinking about getting the myride 65 car seat, but in the end decided we could get two seats for the price of the myride.
...

The Graco ComfortSport carseat(s) that we got for our son (we got 2; one for each car) are pretty good car seats for what they cost (about $80-90). They are top rated in safety, and are relatively comfortable looking for my son. My only complaint is that I cannot install the carseat myself, as the latch mechanism is too hard for me to do without someone helping me. Also, the car seat model that we got does not have any built-in headrests or body support like a lot of the other models have. I feel that these would help my son be more comfortable when he is in his seat, as he seems to be swimming in it a little and he is already 17 pounds -- well over the minimum weight for using this seat rear-facing. In addition, when he falls asleep in the carseat his head flops down so far that I fear that he will have trouble breathing at times.

The fabric of the carseat is nice and plush but I worry that it will get damaged quickly and/or be hard to clean.

All in all, this carseat is good for what it...
...

We bought a Graco ComfortSport for my son when he was 10 months old, and had outgrown his SnugRide infant carrier. Unfortunately, it wouldn't fit rear-facing in our Honda Civic Hatchback that we had at that time, and then in the backseat of my mother-in-law's Dodge Ram, but it has served us well nonetheless. We did a lot of lengthy driving, so he spent a lot of time in it. It must have been comfortable because he rarely fussed! I like that I can easily remove the seat cover to wash it, and it's easy to install in my opinion. The straps are easy to adjust, which is nice when the weather can't decide whether you need a jacket or not. It's getting ready to be handed down to our baby, and he will actually benefit from its rear-facing capabilities! It will be wedged in with two other Graco seats in the backseat of my Oldsmobile Aurora, where amazingly they all fit just fine! I'm a Graco Mommy all the way!
...

i bought this carseat when my daughter out grew her infant carseat. she was about a year old and 20 pounds. i love the fact that it grows with her. we have been using it for 2 years now and have never regretted our decision to buy it. it is is totally affordable, comes in a few different colors, totally safe and easy to install and use. my daughter actually likes to try to buckle herself in and pretty much does it. luckily it is made so that the button to release the belt isnt to easy so i dont have to worry about her unbuckling it and getting out. great carseat all around.
...

I bought the Graco ComfortSport car seat for my daughter because at the time it had the same ratings and safety ratings as the more expensive car seats for about $50 less. I am a very budget concious person due to being laid off of my job this month and I love what I paid for. I would not trade this car seat for any other one that is at the store. My sister has a Eddie Bauer car seat and it is nothing like mine and she paid double the price for hers. I got the better deal. My daughter has two storage compartments and a cup holder which comes in handy with a little one. My advice to mother's is to do your homework on products and canvas the stores to see when they will have a big sale and what store has it at a lower price. Another tip would to be- look to see if there are any coupons available (on the internet or in the papers) for the product that you are looking for. My daughter loves this seat and it is extremely easy to get in and out of on a daily/hourly basis. Remember in this economy...
...

Since I started to use the Graco brand for all my baby equipment such as the high chair, swing, play pen, infant car seat which is the snug ride brand and stroller combo with bases and so I also picked out the Graco Toddler car seat which is the ComfortSport. My daughter has had several accidents in her car seat with traveling and food getting, well honestly anywhere and everywhere. I have learned that every few months I will just take the car seat out of the car and take off the pad and wash everything. After while it just stinks and needs to get washed. At first I was afraid but after wash after wash and she has been using the Car seat since October 2008 I have no worries now. Graco definitely holds up well. Quite proud to say I am the Graco owner and I know when we are done wtih this car seat for her we will be moving to the TurboBooster by Graco. I already bought it at Walmart - when it was being discontinued because they were coming out with a new color or design.
...

amym107 says "The Graco ComfortSport is an easy to use, reliable seat." about Graco ComfortSport Car Seat

The Graco ConfortSport convertable carseat is pretty easy to install both forward and rear facing. It has a nice size range for rearfacing. My daughter is 23 months old, 25 lbs and is still able to be rearfacing. This is important since the AAP is now reccommending that children be rearfacing until 2 years old or until they reach the limits of their carseat.

The Graco ComfortSport convertable carseat provides plenty of support for my daughter, she has never complained, even on long car rides, of feeling uncomfortable. She has plenty of support on the sides too, and likes that the seat comes with a cupholder.

My only complaint about the seat is that it does not come with the lock-offs that some of the more expensive (think Britax) carseats have. When we use LATCH, this isn't a problem, but in my husband's SUV (which does not have LATCH), we have a problem some times with the sholder belt causing the seat to lean a bit to one side. We solve this by using the locking clip instead.

Overall,...
...

The Graco Comfort Sport Car seat is one of the nicest and yet most affordable Convertible car seats I've seen. We have a grey one that we started using with our son when he was about 4 months old and we just loved it. It is meant for babies 5-40lbs (rear facing until 1 and 20lbs. and then forward facing after that.) It has the 5 point harness system and it also has the option of either using the LATCH system that most newer cars have or you can still use the seat belt easily if you don't have that LATCH system. The car we had when we first started using this seat didn't have LATCH so we used the regular seat belt with a clip provided to keep it in tightly and it was so easy to use. The belts are very easy to adjust and the seat itself is easy to take apart for cleaning. Also, Graco is great about having the replacement or additional parts available to order online. I do believe this seat is a comfortable one for a young child and it certainly is easier on the wallet than many...
...

We love the Graco ComfortSport car seat with "gracopedic" comfort foam. We have owned at least five other car seats and this is the best. As a mom you want the safest car seat for your baby, but there is also the budget to consider for some of us. I did a lot of research to find a car seat that I felt was safe and comfortable and also affordable.

The Graco Comfort sport with gracopedic foam was reasonable in price, sort of right in the middle. But what really made the decision easy for me was the comfort! This seat is plush. And the seat cover comes off to clean, how great is that?! You don't have to disassemble the whole thing to clean it. The straps are easily adjusted from the front. Because this is a convertible car seat, it is usable for a few years. This makes it much more economical than having to buy two seats.

As far as the install, I was able to do it myself and without breaking every nail or bruising too many things. Let's face it, installing a car seat...
...
