Despite the well budgeted cast, Good Luck Chuck was one of the worst romantic comedies to ever grace my DVD player. With Jessica Alba and Dane Cook, I thought that there "talent" could bring this movie to a good scene at some point. Instead, it ended up being a filmed nasty fantasy realization of promiscuity and raging hormones.

Dane wasn't funny at all and Jessica was pretty much only a pretty face. She even bashed the movie in an interview with Elle magazine calling it "porn."
Who bashes their own movie?...You know the movie is really bad when the starring actress, employed by an extremely competitive and fickle workplace called Hollywood, bashes her own movie.

Maybe if I was a 13 year old boy this would actually be considered good but to a 20-something year old mommy this movie was a major Stinkeroooo.......

this movie will make you laugh and cry. every time charlie dates a girl and then breaks up with her, the next guy she dates proposes. he falls in love with a girl and then he's afraid he'll lose her forever. charlie starts acting crazy then to keep her with him...

This is a reAlly great movie to watch with friends, but not with kids though. Has a lot of funny scences to it with women's boobs all over the screen. Great movie...

Although, the clutzy quality of character is similar to me, i found this love story wrapped up in comedy to be quite typical. Liked the actors, which is primarily what prompted me to watch this movie....

Alright, let me preface by saying I love Dane Cook, so I may have liked this movie a little bit more than normal people. There were some really funny parts, but I think the whole premise was a little lame. Movie obviously had to be written by a man who was scorned or something! Jessica Alba was cute, but nobody is that dumb r klutzy. Chuck had a lot of sex, so hopefully he got tested for stds before he and Alba got together. I thought the movie was pretty good- it wasn't as god awful as the critics claimed. I wouldn't buy it, but I would watch it again if I was flipping around.

Our family has been a Dane Cook fan for years, so to see him in a movie is so exciting. Especially to see him in a starring role opposite Jessica Alba!

I was surprised at how much I liked this movie! I laughed through the entire thing! But then again, crude humor doesn't offend me. I'm not taken aback to hear, or see, very sexually graphic material. However, if nudity or sex scenes bother you, you don't want to see this movie. There's A LOT of it thoughout the whole thing.

Jessica Alba is beautiful as always, playing the role of Dane Cook's clumsy love interest. She actually does a lot of physical humor in this movie, and is pretty decent at it. Dane Cook is funny as always. He plays Chuck, a guy that suddenly realizes is cursed with helping women find their true love AFTER he sleeps with him. At first he relishes in his luck of having beautiful women throw themselves at him, but then realizes that all he is, is a stepping stone to their happiness. Once he meets Jessica...

Although this movie is not one you should watch with kids due to the intense graphic nudity, it was a great film to watch with friends (of the same sex) that don't mind laughing utnil you cry. Dane Cook played a diverse role of the hunk who had a sweet and almost innocent role. If you love penguins I highly reccommend this movie, you even learn a thing or two....

this was one of the worst movies i have ever seen!!! now i love both of these actors but what a let down. not only was this movie unfunny borderline just plain stupid but it should be in the porn section. completely a waste of money and thats all i,ve got to say!

this is a great movie to watch with your significant other. I laughed the whole time. I believe alot of woman can relate to Jessica Alba in this movie. Deffinetly not for children though. I love the penguins so that was a good thing too. This movie is fairly educational as far as relationship and penguins go! This is a must see!...

My husband brought the DVD home for Valentine's Day. The movie stars Jessica Alba and Dane Cook. Cook is thought to be a good luck charm because each women he is with finds her true love and marries them. Alba is a little off balance and stumbles easy. She and Cook have an amazing story to tell with a lot of humor and great one liners! Any couple must see this movie....

Talk about lifes awkward moments...this movie has them all! It truly gives a new meaning to funny but has explicit sceans not fit for younger viewers. A comedy even men will enjoy!

This movie started out kind of rauchy and then the funny parts started. I really enjoyed the friend who made the main character seem less raunchy. Dane Cook is one of my favorite comedians. This movie was a good play for him, because he could use comedy in a different way. This was his element. Jessica Alba was cute too....

I thought this movie might be romantic and funny for my husband and I to watch. Boy was I wrong! Some scenes in this movie were just downright disgusting! If this had been a woman acting in this way, she would be called a whore! I was totally appalled. Jessica Alba was great in this movie, but I can't believe a girl like that could end up falling for such a tool!...
