When I was a little girl my neighbor would give me her old issues of Good Housekeeping and since that time I have been hooked. I look forward to my monthly subscription arriving in my mailbox. It has all kinds of articles that range from health and beauty to advice from Heloise. It always covers many topics and you have a great variety of stories and of course they have the Good Housekeeing seal on their products and do review products for the home time to time.

Recently I subscribed to Good Housekeeping. What I like about this magazine is that it is not overly concerned with fashion and celebrities like other women's magazines. While it is not 100% about the home, the amount of content on other areas such as family and beauty balance the magazine quite nicely.

This magazine is still one of my greatest stand by's. I know that every time it shows up in my mailbox I am in for a lot of great information. I like how the women are often "real" in size and the recipes are generally easy to create and quite tasty.

I found a link a few months ago for a free subscription to Good Housekeeping. I had read these magazines at doctor's offices and friends home, so I kind of knew what they were about already about. I signed up for the free subscription, and have received the first couple of issues. I would have to say I am quite satisfied.

The thing that I like about this magazine the most is that it is so well-rounded. There is something for everyone in this magazine. They have recipes, seasonal articles, health and home articles. I even have found quite a few coupons in the magazine as well. I am quite the thrifty shopper so I love the coupons.

The only thing that I do not like about this magazine is that there seems to be quite a bit of advertisements. I think that there are more pages with advertisements than articles, but the information that they have is good. The magazine also seems to be well organized, which is something that I like.

I've read just about every issue of Good Housekeeping magazine since I was eleven years old. My mom still subscribes to this magazine and I catch up on the issues each time I visit her.

What I like most about the magazine are the human interest stories they feature each month. The articles have a sense of genuiness, leaving the reader with the feeling that they've walked along for the journey in each story.

I've cut out so many recipes over the years but one recipe really stands out, a recipe for banana cake that cooks perfectly each time. I've adapted it and made pumpkin bread out of the same recipe. The recipes that are featured in Good Housekeeping are down-to-earth recipes--I find this appealing because I don't have to hunt for exotic ingredients.

Each issue contains a short fiction story, advice columns, a beauty section, and often an article focusing on home life-- organizational tips, etc.

The Christmas issue features gingerbread houses and each year, the houses seem to be...

This magazine has a little bit for everyone....the cook, the fashion diva and the working woman. The fashions are affordable for the average woman, food is everyday casual or can be gourmet, but always easily done. I have been a subscriber for 10+ years....

Good Housekeeping has been a reading staple of mine for years. I can always depend on it for cleaning advice and tips, recipes, and inspirational articles. The magazine is a lot of value for the money and really inexpensive when you realize all the things that are inputted. Yes, I would definitely recommend this magazine, especially to homemakers.

It makes my day when I see Good Housekeeping in the mailbox. I love the stories, tips, and recipes, as well as everything else, that's in every issue....
