2 thumbs very up for Gone Baby Gone. You could expect the unexpected in this movie, I enjoyed the movie alot. I recommened anyone to watch it The acting crew is terrific. If you have not seen this movie I garanty anyone who see it will be very satisfied..

i just rented gone baby gone on dvd and it was excellent, the movie had a lot of twist and turns and it had me out of my sit, great cast in the film , it's a good addition to any dvd collection....

This movie actually made me cry, as it was about the disapperance of a child, and the twists and turns that came out little by little. At first you get this picture of a mom that looks distraught, then you get to see her for what she is. And you get this investigator who goes all the way with his job, no half-done's.

I did think it was highly disturbing, though, when you see the child molester and what he did to a boy. I almost threw up, it was so disgusting.

All in all the end was pretty suprising, I DID NOT LIKE the ending. I thought it was bad of Casey to report the situation. The little girl would have been better off.

I can say very few good things about this movie. The storyline was bad. The actors and actresses did a bad job. It made me a little sick with the child molesters and killers. Ed Harris and Morgan Freeman do a pretty good job as detectives in this horrific tale about this little girl who was kidnapped because her mother is a crackhead. This child's mother spends all day abusing drugs while toting along her small daughter. The girl gets taken due to some money stolen from a small time drug dealer. She is missing for days upon weeks. The aunt hires two locals who know everyone in the area to find the missing girl. They do all they can do, but it is just not enough. There are a few twists and turns in the end and a conspiracy is uncovered. In the end, the little girl is found and returned to her loser mother. It didn't make for a good movie in my book....

Within the first few minutes of watching GONE BABY GONE you know that you're about to watch a good movie. There's never a dull moment in movie, because it demands your attention from start to finish.

At the very start of GONE BABY GONE a 4-year-old girl is missing. The movie is set in a tough Boston neighborhood, and private investigators Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro (Casey Affleck and Michelle Monaghan) are asked by the family of the missing girl to assist in solving the case by contacting people who will not talk to the police. When 4 year old Amanda McCready disappears from her home and the police make little headway in solving the case, the girl's aunt Beatrice McCready hires two private detectives Patrick Kenzie and Angie Gennaro. The detective freely admit that they have little experience with this type of case, but the family wants them for two reasons - they're not cops and they know the tough neighborhood in which they all live....

As soon as I heard Ben Afflect was going to be directing this movie I immediately called my friend and made sure we would be there on opening day. Sure he has had alot to do with the production of many other movies but this was going to be his first time directing on his own. The beinning caught my eye and held my attention. Bringing his brother Casey into the film was a brillant idea because Casey Afflect is an amazing actor...however Ben Afflect is not a good director. The movie itself was good however the angles and the way alot of the situation were portrayed made it a difficult movie to watch. Honestly it's worth seeing, just dont buy it. The ending was the best part of the movie and it will for sure shock and amaze

I was hesitant about watching this movie, but it ended up being really great. I have to admit that I watch a lot of movies and lately there just haven't been that many great ones. I was impressed with Casey Affleck's acting and the rest of the cast was great as well. Just when you think you have the movie figured out, they surprise you with a few twists. The ending is definitely something that makes you wonder what you would do. And just like Casey Affleck and his girlfriend in the movie, my husband and I had different opinions on the right thing to do. ...

I just recently watched Gone Baby Gone, and I have to say, I found it to be filled with great characters, a great story line, and it leaves you with many things to ponder afterward. For Ben Affleck's directorial debut he found a fantastic story and did a great job. I always here him getting trashed in the media, does no one remeber that him and Matt Damon wrote Good Will Hunting, I don't think he is the most talented guy in Hollywood, but he is by no means the worst. His brother Casey seems to be doing fairly well especially in this movie, he has a way of showing fear at the same time as being totally afraid in various situations, when he knows he can handle himself, but it seems like at the same time he is second guessing how well he can handle the situation. Anyway back to the story,I thought it unfolded in a more unique way that kept you guessing but not to the point that they were trying to purposelsy mislead you. I highly recommend this movie. ...

This is a great movie! I wasn't sure what to expect when i first started to watch to movie, it starts off slow, but it turned out to be a great story! Its defiently a tear jerker, but is still a great movie. It has some great actors, a good story line, and just an overall great movie! Its not your typical movie and is different from nay other movie that I have seen and will defiently leave you thinking..... I will watch this one over and over again! It does have some offensive language, so if that bothers you, you probably wont like this movie. ...

Casey Affleck, while he may have done movies before, steps front and center in this and does a fine job. His brother, Ben, deserves kudos as well, directing this very intricate plot and shaping these amazing characters. The acting is right-on with many true blue Bostonians being cast. Still, known actors such as Morgan Freeman, Ed Harris and Amy Madigan provide a stable framework for this film. There is some disturbing material, but nothing like I prepared myself for. It is more about situational ethics than child abduction. Take a look....

Gone Baby Gone was a great flick. Although I don't recommend watching it with your parents because of the graphic language. The plot was great and simple to follow, but there were always twisted and turns showing up. Casey Affleck was great, but the ending broke my heart. Did he do the right thing or not? I won't give it away....
