dmdifalco says "Gold Bond More Like Gold Digger's" about Gold Bond Medicated Powder

I spurged and purchased Gold Bond because my feet were incredibly sore and I had heard that this was a great product. Of course, I got my hopes up because I was spending more money than I ever intended. I tried Gold Bond for a few weeks and couldn't tell if it was doing anything if at all. It was a true disappointment for me. I didn't like the smell at all either. I don't know what I expected would happen if I did use this product. I have thick, dry skin on my feet and thought it should have atleast softened it a little but no dice. I felt cheated. I don't know if the drugstore would take the bottle back or not but it feels good being able to relate my experience here. I am wondering if I expected too much. I thought it was a medication but I could have been wrong. Well, I know one person who won't be buying Gold Bond again. Was good to see that they did win over a few individuals who like their products here on Viewpoints.
...

This powder works great. I only wish it didn't smell the way it does. It smells like an old lady. Which is not good when I want to apply perfume. But if you can get past the smell, I would recommend this product.
...

cindylaloca says "Regimental, kilted bag piper" about Gold Bond Medicated Powder

I purchased Gold Bond Medicated Powder for my husband to use. He is a bagpiper and to use a polite term, goes "regimental" under his kilt. One thing he learned real fast is there are certain areas of the body that, when left untethered, can develop a rash. Some of the other pipers told us about this product, so he tried it and it worked like a miracle. Believe me, he has a container in his bagpipe case, hat case, bathroom and the compartment of his car. Obviously he learned a very good lesson.
...

AutumnDM says "Sensationally COOL, Refreshing" about Gold Bond Medicated Powder

Gold Bond Medicated Powder works wonders! I have sensitive skin and frequently get heat rashes in the summertime. These rashes can be horrible and will oftentimes itch so badly that I am inclined to scratch! Scratching is not good, because it only aggravates skin which is already inflamed and adds to the problem. Gold Bond Medicated Powder feels rather "tingly" and "cool" when applied to your skin. It does a great job at relieving the itch from a rash and helps to promote healing. Although I have used it many times on heat rash, I don't know how well it would work on something like poison ivy. The only downfall to this product that I can think of ;it is messy when applied. But then, aren't all powders messy? I'll take the mess; IT WORKS!...

leanar2 says "Works suprisingly well" about Gold Bond Medicated Powder

A friend recommended this product to me and I bought it and promptly put it in a drawer. I was complaining about itchy, dry skin and my friend said to use the Gold Bond I had bought. I really didn't think powder would make itchy skin better, but it did. Since then I have also bought the cream and lotion versions of Gold Bond and I like them all. My favorite is probably the lotion. But all of the Gold Bond products leave your skin kind of cool or tingly. Good stuff. ...

This product was a pleasant surprise. I'd heard about it for years, but tried it only recently and I will continue to use it. It contains eucalyptol - a natural ingredient for someone whose skin is a bit sensitive. It provides a cooling sensation that you just have to experience for yourself! Good old-fashioned Gold Bond Body Powder provides wonderful relief for those annoying itches!
...
