GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray is simply amazing stuff. I have very severe allergies and am constantly stuffed up. My doctor prescribed GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray for me. It dries up my congestion and prevents me from sneezing all day! I wish it would come down in price at the pharmacy, but it is worth every cent! If I forget my GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray I am running to the store to try to find something comparable, but can never find anything that works as well. I wish I had found GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray sooner in life. GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray isn't thick like afrin, and doesn't have that "water up your nose" feeling of other nasal sprays. The bottle is designed with the pump on the side, with metered dosages, which all makes for ease of use. The bottle is small enough you can travel with it if you would like to also. I love my GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray and will continue to use it for years to come!
...

I STARTED USING VERAMYST IN JANUARY OF LAST YEAR BY MARCH THE VISION IN ONE EYE WAS BLURRY. SO I WENT TO THE EYE DOCTOR AND SHE TOLD ME I HAD A CATARACT. I DID NOT CORRILATE THE CATARACT WITH VERAMYST UNTIL JUNE WHEN MY SIGHT WAS NOTICABLY WORSE. SO I STOPPED USING THIS PRODUCT. THIS MONTH I WENT BACK TO THE DOCTOR FOR SINUS PROBLEMS AND HE SUGGESTED VERAMYST AGAIN, I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE CATARACTS AND HE LOOKED VERAMYST UP ON HIS PDA AND SURE ENOUGH IT IS ONE OF THE LISTED SIDE EFFECTS. HE SAID THE REPRESENTATIVES NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THIS WHEN THEY PRESENTED THE PRODUCT TO HIM. SO ANYONE WITH CATARACTS BEWARE....

My doctor gave me samples of Veramyst when I stopped taking allergy shots. I was a little reluctant to try it, but it works great. My allergies are severe so I also have to take other medication, but this is a great treatment for problems associated with seasonal and with nasal allergies. I am having no allergy problems at all while using this medication.

My granddaughter has allergies, too and Veramyst was all she needed to control them. I like that Veramyst is gentle enough for children. The difference in her breathing is tremendous. She use to snore and her breathing sounded horrible while she was sleeping but Veramyst fixed that and I no longer worry.

Veramyst is probably enough medication for some people, like my granddaughter, but others may have to combine it with oral medication, like I do. Veramyst keeps me breathing and breathing easuky!
...

Bamajules says "Works, but side effects not worth it!" about GlaxoSmithKline Veramyst Nasal Spray

I have tried a lot of different allergy medications and have yet to find that "perfect" drug that eliminates sneezing and congestion. With that said, some work better than others and Veramyst is one of those that does a pretty good job. I like the fact that it provides fairly quick relief of nasal congestion and I found that I didn't seem to have the same level of allergy issues; such as sneezing and runny nose.

Veramyst is a steroid spray that is convenient and effective; however the nose bleeds were not worth the results. It says to spray away from the septum to help aleviate the nose bleeds, but I found that it didn't make any difference for me. I would have scabs in my nose daily, which would end up blocking up my nostril; therefore I still couldn't breathe! It created an ulcerated place in side both nostrils that just wouldn't ever really heal. It actually took a few weeks to fully heal, even after having stopped using the medicine.

Each person may have a different result......

My doctor prescribed Veramyst [fluticasone furoate] nasal spray last year to see if it would help my seasonal and year round allergies.

Veramyst is unique in that you only have to use it once a day. Just one spray and allergies go away! One 10 gram prescription bottle lasts 120 days if used every day.

Symptoms Relieved:

For SEASONAL allergies, the spray provides relief against nasal and eye symptoms as well as sneezing; congestion; itchy, runny nose; and red, itchy, watery eyes.

For YEAR-ROUND allergies, the spray provides long term relief against nasal symptoms that include sneezing; congestion; and itchy, runny nose.
Consistent use makes the nasal spray most effective. I am not one to live on prescribed medicine however and since have found a natural product that works equally well. See my review on Sinus Buster.

Be sure you tell your doctor about any medication you are taking and if you are or could be pregnant to see it is safe for you before it is prescribed. ...
