radrich says "Glad Force Flex kitchen bags - they tear easily and they smell." about Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags

I am half way through my 60 count Glad Force Flex bags (seemed like a good buy at Sam's Club) and I will not purchase these again. These things tear quite easily and odors seem to emit from them. I was much more satisfied with the "regular" brand X kitchen trash bags I used to purchase.

I see a number of positive reviews on this site for these bags so my advice to anyone who hasn't yet purchased would be to just buy a few and see for yourself (not a 60 pack like I did). I believe that Glad has falsly advertised the advantages of these bags - there is no benefit for the premium attached to "force flex". I put very little garbage in these but often something will have poked through. It just happened again tonight or I wouldn't have bothered posting this review. I will finish using what I have left but will not buy these again.
...

Ever since Glad had came out with the force flex material I will not buy anything else. Trash duty is nasty and noone wants that responsibility. I find that these bags make the job just a bit easier and cleaner. These trash bags allow odd shaped trash to be placed it them and allow more roon for trash then the bag appears i should. This trash bag may be a bit pricier than others bt it is a wonderful investment and we're only talking a extra dollar or so anywyas. I find it to be extremely neat that this material even exists. I didn't think there was much room for improvment in the wotld of trash bags but I was wrong. This is something small but I find it helps make every day life just a little bit easier. I like the fact that I can cram all my trash into one bag before I have to take it out. I live a busy life and this to me is a great little extra. I think everyone should try at least on of these bags and see what they think for themself.
...

Glade Force Flex Tall Kitchen Trash bags just do not cut it for me or my needs. I saw them and thought that since I have a large family I need a strong trash bag that will help keep trash from coming out, and it does work alright for medium I say to smaller uses of household trash. I used a pretty good amount of garbage and it did hold it, but it was bulging so big it felt like it was going to bust!. The drawback I would say it that if it tears then you can consider it not so sturdy enough to hold fairly large amounts of trash. I would recommend making sure that you get the right size bag for your can too because if you get the smaller sized ones they may not tear when getting them out, but they can be torn from things inside the trash and cause it to break open and be weaker than normal. Glade force flex is not too bad of a product but it is pricier on the pocket books. So, be prepared to pay a little more than your usual brand.
...

After watching the commercials for Glad Forceflex bags on TV I thought for sure it was as every other item shown on TV. Not what you get when you buy it for yourself, However; I received a free bag in the mail from Wal-mart, I could not believe it when it was simply the best trash bag for my busy family.

No more sides breaking out on the way to the trash can, or garbage all over under the kitchen sink, these bags are simply amazing.

They stretch and conture to the items placed in them, even sharp items have a hard making it though these bags, I definately recommend Glad ForceFlex bags to anyone interested in making taking the trash out worry free.

crochetcrazymommy says "These are by far our favorite trash bags!" about Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags

We've tried every trash bag on the market, from the least expensive to the most expensive, and we can say without reservation that this is by far our favorite brand. We love that it can always hold just one more thing. We've found that they're durable and can hold our loads of garbage, no matter how big. At times, we were having to use two separate trash bags to hold all of our kitchen, bathroom, and office trash, but now we're only using one because we can fit it all into this super-stretchy and durable bag. We live next door to my in-laws, and my husband often takes their garbage with ours, and he fusses all the time about how their bags tear and he has to pick up trash off of the ground. They are a little more expensive than other brands, but we feel that it's worth it to have a product that we are satisfied with...one that actually works! We are very happy with this brand and we plan to continue to buy them.
...

jeanbean1001 says "Stretchy, convenient, but could be thicker. " about Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags

My roommate and I go through a ton of trash bags, and this is the kind we keep buying. We both like that the Force Flex bags are stretchy and much larger than they seem to be. Plus, we love the tabs on the sides that make for easy tying.

I gave it 3 stars because the bag could be thicker, a little more durable.. however, if it were thicker it may not have the "flex" that it has now. Even if they just make the bag thicker, but make the top few inches & the tabs with the "flex" material then that would be better. I find that it gets holes in it pretty easily, and rips easily too.

I purchased the Hefty flexible bags with tie flaps as well, and I can safely say that the Glad ForceFlex ones are more flexible. Way more flexible. Easier to tie, as well. The Hefty bags seemed to be a little bit thicker, but nothing significant.

Another thing that I think is a pro as well as a con is the tie flaps on the side. As much as I think it's a great idea, I'm partial to the drawstring bags... I guess...
...

I got my first Glad ForceFlex Trash Bag as a sample and they are just simply amazing. I can stuff them and they hold everything in and I have not had the problem of one of them tearing on me. I have always just bought whatever trash bags were on sale or my regular brand depending on what was available, but now I have stuck by Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags.

I had seen the commercials, but had never thought about giving them a try. I always thought they would be a bit too pricey for trash bags and just didn't want to bother. I can go outside with these and rake up leaves and whatever other outside garbage there might be (small branches, weeds, etc.) and they just don't tear! Inside the house, I can use them not only as a kitchen bag but when it's that time to clear out old dishes, pots and pans and containers. I have continued to buy Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags and stock up on them when I get a chance. This is just a great product.
...

My Finace and I just moved into our new house this last weekend and we had such a mess. Trash everywhere and these bags started breaking and the mess went from our house to all over our new garage. I bought these with a coupon to try and I litterally stopped my move to dig them out I rebagged all the trash in them and they were great. They never broke even the ones with glass in them. They were great!...
