Lorrie-Cookson says "Not bad, but still deciding!" about Gevalia Seasonal Flavors

I've tried this for a couple of years, and I have to say, I think the flavor is good, but some of the 'robusteness' is lost when a good coffee is added to with flavors that aren't originally part of the farming/roasting process.

My new angle, for seasonal coffee, is to buy coffee from a local roaster (not ashamed to admit I use Camano Island Coffee - visit http://www.camanoislandcoffee.com/holiday-coffee-gifts) and then add my Amaretto, cinnamon, or other seasonal influence post brew. Seems to stay intact that way.

Or just use Gevalia standard brews and color them up appropriately.

angel28960 says "Fall in your cup!" about Gevalia Seasonal Flavors

I recently rejoined the Gevalia coffee program just in time for the exciting new fall flavors. In addition to my free stainless steel coffee pot, thermal carafe, and travel mug, I received 2 half pounds of Pecan Torte coffee...all for only $14.95. It is an amazing deal!

The first morning I used the Pecan Torte coffee I was hooked. There is just nothing better then waking up to the smell and taste of really good coffee. It is made from 100% Arabica beans and tastes like pecans and caramel. Yummy! It made my kitchen smell really good for the rest of the morning. Although I now live in perpetual summer, the Pecan Torte coffee made me feel like it was fall. Gevalia sells Pecan Torte in regular ($7.45 per half lb box) or decaf ($8.25 per half lb box).

The only thing that I do not like about this coffee -- and all of Gevalia's flavored varieties -- is that you can only buy it pre-ground. I prefer to grind my own beans because that way the coffee tastes fresher. However,...
...

BarbaraKatherine says "Every season a new flavor" about Gevalia Seasonal Flavors

Gevalia offers seasonal coffe blends for summer, fall, winter, and spring. Have the taste of blueberries, or pumpkin with your morning cup of coffee or a cup of flavor before going to bed. They are available in regular and decaf. Cevalia has a winner in these 4 flavors. Only the price keeps me from ordering more....
