After listening to mymother say how much she loved her Gevalia 12 Cup Stainless Coffee Maker I decided to try it out as well as there coffee. I do have to say that it look nice, but it seems once the coffee maker is used the stainless on the outside front seems to be hard to keep clean. I can't seem to get it back to the way it looked when I first got it. It also could have been made a little bit heavier just to make it a bit more sturdy. And another complaint is that the opening to where you pour in the water could have been bigger, I have to pull the whole coffee maker out just to fill it with out making a huge mess. I am glad that this was a free coffee maker and that I was able to cancel my coffee subcription as well. They coffee just wasn't what I thought it would be I think I will stick with good ole coffee from the grocery store. I will keep this coffee maker until it decides it is time to give out on us, then I wil most likely purchase something completely different. ...

The Gevalia 12 cup stainless coffee maker is a good looking piece of equipment. It makes a decent pot of coffee and keeps it hot for as long as needed. Additionally, it is programable so you can set it the night before and have your coffee ready when you awake the next morning.

However, there are a few problems with the design. First, it is very difficult to add the water to the brewer because of the narrow opening at the top of the unit. The second major problem is that it is very difficult to clean. Residue from the coffee grinds remains behand the filter and the surface has elevated strips which are impossible to clean between. As a result the whole coffee maker must be run through with either a coffee cleaning agent or at least baking soda every month or so.

The other problem I have found is that the outside of the Gavalia coffee maker, even though it is stainless, is very hard to clean or polish. It never really looks bright and clean.

I finally purchased a Gevalia coffee maker for myself 3 months ago after seeing many advertisements for it. I was visiting a friend who had one and she just raved about how wonderful is was so I broke down and bought my own.

It makes fantastic coffee and one feature that I love is that it doesn't let out alot of steam like my old coffee maker did which was ruining the finish on the upper cabinets.

The only thing that my husband and I don't like about it is that the time display does not have a light so its hard to see when you are setting the timer. The Gevalia model my friend has, has a large lit up display which I wish mine had.

But when I ordered my coffee maker I also got a travel mug, and carafe and 2 boxes of coffee so I am happy with my decision.

One other thing I love about the coffee maker is that it is stainless steel and black. My old one was white and it always looked stained from the coffee but this one always looks clean.

Nothing hard about making a great cup of coffee with the Gevalia 12 cup coffee maker. I have owned mine for almost two years now and there are no regrets.I love the smell of coffee in the early mornings. I set the timer each night and all I have to do is wake up and make a fantastic cup of coffee. Some things a girl can't do without and I have to have the Gevalia coffee maker.

this my friends is the product of products... this is the one item that every house must have and if you don't have it please run out and get yourself one.. those who have it know exactly why i love this coffe maker so much. everyone in my circle of friends and family has one the people that didnt have i ran out and got one for them it makes the perfect gift and they will just love you for it. this is that something that a person really apreciates. it's worth every penny of it's selling price.. its simple not complicated yet so classy it looks like one of those fancy pricy products without the price tag though. it compliments your kitchen and goes well with the rest of your appliances and very noticeable it catches everyone's eye that is for sure.. i really trully recommend this product you will love it and wont go a day of your life with our ever using it. you will be happy with i am sure of it..

The Gevalia 12 cup coffee maker is fantastic. Not only is it free, but it is one of the better coffee makers out there. I love my coffee, and make up to 5 pots a day. This machine takes it and keeps on going. Every pot is great. Downside is you have to buy there coffee to get it, but you only need to buy the first batch, which is on special. Then you can cancel. The coffee pot is worth it.

When Gevalia made this 12 cup coffee maker they out done them selves. Two years ago my sister-n-law came to Oklahoma to visit my husband,and I as a gift to me she brought me a Gevalia 12 cup coffee maker. My husband whom I have been with nine year was alway's wanting to go to the coffee shop,because he said although he loves me dearly I made the worst coffee he ever tasted. I did'nt take it as an insult,because I was'nt a coffee drinker. After Glenda brought me my Gevalia coffee maker I thought well I don't want to hurt her feeling's,so I made her, and my husband a pot of coffee. My husband after tasting my coffee said"baby,what did you do to this coffee?" I thought here it come's,this man is about to insult me right here in front of his sister,God,and everybody,but to my surprise when I ask "what?" With an attitude. He said"baby,I don't know what you did to this coffee,but it's really good." I was so happy. I love this Gevalia 12 cup coffee maker. It is big enough...

The 12 Cup Gevalia coffee maker is the best coffee maker I have ever used! I have had this 1 coffee maker for over 2 years and still going strong.

I would recommend this coffee pot to anyone who ask. What kind of maker is it? I tell them it is a 12 Cup Gevalia coffee maker . Also thier ground coffee that you can purchase is also GREAT!.

This Gevalia 12 cup coffee maker is chrome and black which makes for easy cleaning. The area to pour in the water is large enough so as not to cause spills. The clear cup indicator on the side is easy to read so that you can make 2 cups or 8 cups or 12 cups easily. The clock is easy to read, and therefore the programming is also easy. The push buttons on the front are very easy to use, and of course the red light indicates when coffee has completed the cycle. When pouring coffee there is no spill from the carafe, and the lid removes for easy cleaning of the clear glass carafe. The filter is the cone type filter which is easy to find in the grocery stores, and of course the lid lifts easily and conveniently to insert the cone filter, and then pour in the water. Close the lid, push the button and voila, you wait for a carafe of nicely brewed coffee. I love using flavored coffees in my Gevalia.

the gevalia coffee maker is great. it filters the water and has pause and serve function. you can program it to make coffee later on. it makes up to 12 cups of coffee and tastes great. the coffee is good too. they also offer several accessories including grinders, scoops, storage, etc. if this one dies i will get another.

I purchased Gevalia coffee and received my Gevalia 12 cup coffee maker for absolutely free! I also received a free stainless steel coffee scoop. I did not even have to pay shipping. I am under no obligation to keep receiveing the coffee if I decide I do not like it or I can keep receiving the coffee for as long as I like. The coffee make is mine free to keep no matter what I decide. It was a great deal. It is programmable and has a clock display. It is very easy to program. We program it every night and is always goes off when it is supposed to. It is white in color with a stainless steel front. The stainless steel is not the easiest to keep clean but that is just because it is stainless steel, not any problem from the manufacturer. I hate cleaning anything that is stainless steel. But that's just me. I'm probably not doing something right ha ha. The white parts do clean up nicely. It makes a very good cup of coffe and brews in a decent amount of time for......
