Gevalia Costa Rican Peaberry Coffee

This Gevalia coffee, like many of its others, has such a wonderful rich full bodied flavor, it's never bitter ot harsh. It's smooth and delicious with unique fruity and brown sugar notes, something you don't usually think of when drinking coffee. This particular roast is not as dark as some coffees but the fragrance that wafts through the house as this is dripping is simply wonderful, I usually can't wait to pour a cup.

I happen to like this coffee black though I do often use it with a bit of half-n-half which gives it an even richer flavor. Gevalia coffees are not inexpensive but you know you're getting a quality product time and again, the proof is in the tasting. This is a good afternoon coffee break coffee, a pleasurable pick-me-up for sure.

All of Gevalia's coffees come vacuum sealed in a foil pouch which comes inside a box. They stay fresher longer if you wrap it back up properly. if you're looking for something different in a coffee, Gevalia...
...

Delicious! . Every Gevalia coffee I've ever had, I've been happy with it. And if for some reason you don't like it, you can always send it back! There brewer is the best. I spent 50 dollars on a coffee/expresso machine, and it doesn't even compare to the one that they sent me for free with my order. Makes my coffee much smoother! That's really all I have to say about it!...

I loved Gevalia Costa Rica Peaberry coffee. Such a smooth taste with a flavor that is left on your tounge. I have to admit I am a coffeeholic. I couldn't put this one down. I love the Jamacian blue mountain coffee it was my favoirte but this peaberry comes in a very close second....

Boofany says "I do think its a great bean coffee, unique" about Gevalia Costa Rica Peaberry

Ive only consumed Gevalia Costa Rica Peaberry about 10 or so times, so I would'nt say Im an expert on this bean, but I belive it has a unique full favor which had me coming back. I love rich dark coffees and this was a good bean in my book. If I remember right I was more pricey then many, but if you feel like having something a little different this is a good choice....

Gevalia is always a positive experience. Should you feel something is not correct or up to quality, their customer service is excellent! Their business is definitely customer oriented. Coffee! is vacuumed sealed and always fresh... surely worth the money!...

I thought I'd write my first review over my favorite variety of coffee, the Costa Rica Peaberry; specifically, the Costa Rica Peaberry available for home delivery from Gevalia Coffee. Gevalia offers great promotions, and brings with it the endorsement of the Swedish Monarch, but they use these not as crutches, but only to get their foot into your home's door. I find their coffee to definitely possess superior coffee to common Folger's, and I even prefer their brews to most of the drip coffees of Starbucks.

The Costa Rica Peaberry is moderately priced in terms of their selection. (I believe it is $6.95 / half pound.) I would prefer it to the Kona or Jamaica Blue Mountain that can near double and triple it in cost, respectively. Its taste is somewhat similar to their Mocca Java, but with less of an acidic aftertaste. It does have a slight acidity, but I happen to like that. I list it only as a negative for those who place a premium on a mild, smooth brew. It makes a very smooth...
...
