My son started on Gerber first foods just before 4 months. He loves the sweet potatoes. I like the plastic containers. I can reuse them when making my own food or put snacks in them for my infant. My son also loves to play with them. They are also a nice size to put in the butter compartment of our refrigerator. I like that the first foods are simple and easy on his tummy. He was not ready for any mixed foods or foods with any texture. He liked the consistency of the sweet potatoes and I loved that they did not have any additives. Sweet potatoes are a healthy starter food for an infant. I bought this food on sale and also like that Gerber offers coupons for their food if you sign up for their mailings on their website. Gerber foods are reasonably priced and can be cheaper than making my own baby food at times. They are convenient when I just don't have time to puree. Sweet potatoes are a food that I will continue to buy for my son in these convenient containers.

My baby just loves gerber sweet potatoes. At first I assumed he would like apple or banana flavors more, but I quickly realized that he just in love with sweet potatoes. While he usually only eats half of the bottle/package of most other flavors (except green beens), sweet potatoes usually goes all the way! The only thing that I don't really like sometimes (I know it may sound a little selfish of me) is that when he eats particularly sweet potatoes, he likes to make bubles with his cute little mouth. The problem is that the sause gets everywhere, and if I wait few days untill washing his clothing, it may not come off completely, at the same time it could be few different items left in stains - towells, body suits, socks, etc. Also, the texture is somewhat runny, but I use small rubber spoons and they work well for this product, I just don't suggest taking this sause when you are going out because it can get messy, but at home its great. Anyways, I am just glad he likes it!

My baby use to love it, Gerber sweet potatoes is one of her favorite, that is why, every-time I buy her food, I always pick it up, and I am very confident that she would love it, even for the first time she eat, she surely love it, althought now she never ate it, because she already 2 years old, but if I would ask what is the best food for a baby, I surely recommend Gerber sweet potatoes.......

The Gerber Sweet potatoes was my sons favorite food from the time he first starting eating at the age of 6 months! He still loves them to this day even though he is on solids! I couldnt recommend a better first food!!

We introduced Gerbers Sweet potatoes to my son when he was 5 months- he's 9 months now and the Sweet potatoes are his still his favorate food. As a new mom, I was a bit hestitant about introducing new foods to my picky baby. We went thru apples, bananas and even peas before we discovered Gerbers sweet potatoes. This was the first food my son would eat without making the "gas face". He absolutely love the taste and I love the quality. This food is neither too sweet nor too bitter. And ultimately we were very happy we stumbled upon the sweet potatoes. Now at 9 months my son does eat a widder variety of foods, this is aways my fall back food for when ever he gets overly picky or frustrated.

Both my kids loved Gerber sweet potatoes. It is a great way to get them to eat their veggies. Even I liked the taste. Now that they're too old too eat pureed foods, I find myself using them in other things (muffins and quickbreads).

Both of my kids loved the sweet potatoes the most when it came to veggies. I am a nanny and I have never had a baby that didnt like sweet potatoes. I think it might be because its the first thing that has any sweetness in it that they try. Gerber is a great brand too because they are extremely well known and trusted. I would definately reccommend Gerber baby food to new parents. Its a brand you can trust and sweet potatoes are an all time favorite among infants and toddlers. They are also packaged in a way that makes it easy to throw the rest in the fridge if your baby doesnt finish it in the first sitting.

Just wanted to say my seven month-old son LOVES Gerber's sweet potatoes (we are currently using the 2nd stage that come in the plastic 2-packs). I recently introduced sweet potatoes as a new vegetable to my son (3 weeks ago), and he really enjoys them. In fact, he can eat two of the packages in one sitting! Gerber is a name I trust in baby food, and I can depend on Gerber to make high-quality baby foods.

I usually buy them at Kroger....they offer great coupons! Also, gerber sends great coupons when you sign up for their newsletters!

Dr's say that this is basically the best food you can serve your baby for a first fruit/veggie. I made the mistake of serving applesauce first, but my son took to Gerber Sweet Potatoes like candy anyway. I don't know how many of these little jars I served him.

Portable, healthy, good quality, what more could you ask for?

Don't forget to shop for baby food in places you wouldn't normally think of, like Target. Frequently you can get a good deal on baby food from places like that, particularly if they are having a sale.

I have a 7 month old son who only like's to eat this product and Gerber squash. He doesnt like the peas or green beans right and isnt really crazy about the Gerber meat products yet. He is a picky eater and anything that I can get him to eat is good in my book! Eat up!...
