Hello everyone i am here to give my opinion on gerber nuk nipples for children birth to 12 months old. My two children sucked best on a gerber nuk nipple, it is also the easiest nipple for them to suck from, besides your breast of course. I recommend gerber nuk nipples to every mother! You should know that they do cost a little bit more than other nipple brands but believe me it is worth it! The shape of the nipple makes it alot easier for the baby to suck milk. I also recommend gerber nuk pacifiers. The reason I chose the gerber brand is because I have never seen nuk nipples from any other brand. Also gerber is a well known brand for babies a brand that u can always trust. The nuk nipples come in either a 2 or 4 pack, of course in the end it is cheaper to buy the 4 pack opposed to the 2 pack. The gerber nuk nipples come in silicone if that's your choice. There is one warning that I do have to share with you and that is if you choose to use these nipples just know that once your baby gets...
...

Nuk Orthodontic vented nipples are awesome. I have three babies under three years old, and I just wish I had discovered these sooner. When I had my third baby we, my husband and I, just assumed we would use the same bottles and nipples as we did with the boys but when we tried it would seem almost like she was drowning then she would have a bad belly ache and puke almost everything she had eaten up. We tried several other brands and finally my sister suggested Nuk Orthodontic Vented Nipples and I am so happy she did. With the Nuk Orthodontic Nipples my baby can control the flow of formula and now my daughter doesn't choke and gag on her bottles, she doesn't spit up hardly at all, just the normal amount when she eats too much. To me the cost is a little high, almost six dollars for one bottle, but really in the end I think it's worth it to have her be able to eat properly and not be cranky with a upset stomach all the time.Nuk
...

Gerber Nuk orthodonic nipples are great.

They have an air flow system to reduce gas and come in many different sizes. I have 4 1/2 month old daughter who for the most part I am breast feeding. I also work from home so when I am working it is hard for me to hold her and feed her too. So I pump milk and store. When I am working I bottle feed her and I only use Gerber Nuk orthodonic bottles and nipples. I have also used Advent but they are more expensive than Gerber and Gerber is a name we have trusted for centuries. They are also great for transitioning from breast to bottle to binky. Gerber also makes orthodonic nuk pacifers (binkies). Just about everything I have for her was made by Gerber. I would recommend this product to everyone. Ecspecially those who are breast...
...

BabyDaddy says "No leaking, but no venting, either." about Gerber Nuk Orthodontic vented nipples

I'm not a fussy parent and neither is my 4 month daughter. She'll take any bottle we give her, including Nuk bottles. We bought these because our Avents leak everywhere(although they vent well) and we had a coupon for Nuk bottles. The venting system does not work at all and requires that you stop and pull the nipple out every few minutes. I guess the plus side is that they do not leak at all like the Avents. The medium flow Nuk nipples seem to let her drink faster than the size 2 Avent nipples without choking her....

The Gerber Nuk Orthodontic Bottle with vented nipples was exactly the bottle that I was looking for. My first purchase of the Gerber Orthodontic Bottle, was because of the coupon where I could receive one for free with a mail - in rebate. Realizing that I couldn't go wrong with this deal, I gave it a try! I was incredibly impressed. Just the right amount of flow for my 4 month old, and so easy to use! The bottle stayed cleaner than other bottles, and was easier to clean once dirty. My son quickly became accustomed to only that bottle! Though I owned other bottles, he would look for that one specifically. I quickly decided that it would be my choice for bottles in the future! The air flow was excellent, and allowed my son to feed quickly, with fewer burps. The designs are perfect - with just the right designs appropriate for the gender of your child. I am a completely satisfied customer of the Gerber Nuk Orthodontic Bottle - and I hope that you will be as well!...
...

I love the Nuk nipples.

My son was 5 weeks premature. During his first feeding at the hospital he turned blue and stopped breathing. He ended up in the NICU on all the monitors. Once his feeding tube was removed they began trying him on bottle feeding. We tried every kind of nipple the hospital had but he kept bradying (low heart rate). Finally one of the nurses tried the Nuk. He went from having 7 or 8 brady episodes each feeding to maybe having one every 4 or 5 feedings.

He is now 6 weeks old and the nuk is the only nipple we've had success with. I would recommend this product to anyone, especially parents of a preemie who generally have trouble feeding....

I have tried many different nipple types and find these to be the best around. The shape of the nipple is easy for baby to hang on to rather than the straight shaped kind. My daughter drops her bottle less with nuk nipples which is great when you are in the car with a hungry baby! The nuby nipples collapse with suction when my daughter tied them and she can hardly get any milk! I have many different types of bottles and they work well with all of them, except I have some Nuby bottles that I can not find nuk nipples to replace the nipple that came in them. They must be an odd size. Nuk is by far the best!...

My baby had a hard time latching on to regular nipples, so I bought a package of the Nuk, and haven't gone back. The contoured shape of the nipple fits perfectly in her tiny mouth, and the vent allows her to keep eating without the interruption of as many air bubbles....

As a mom of a small premie bottling was sometimes difficult. The short nipple does not cause gagging like others may. They fit common narrow bottles and rings. No special bottles needed. They come in multiple packs with comes in handy for night time feedings. The biggest problem we had with the nipples is that you can only get milk out if the air vent is up. This can sometimes be hard to see. The nipples after a while would crack, yellow, or start to leak. Because of thier cheap price and packaging it was not a huge bother to keep buying nipples. They were not as durable as I hoped they would be....

The NUK air system vents the bottle and prevents air intake. These are great for almost any bottles and seem to really do a great job of lessening air intake. They are designed to reduce colic and have an orthodonitic design to promote healthy teeth formation and strengthen baby's jaw. The nipple is shaped to stimulate breastfeeding and help your baby switch between the breast and bottle more easily....

I found these in the grocery store. At first I thought Avent was the way to go but my daughter (now almost 4) almost seemed to choke because the nipple was so long. I went to regular bottles and nipples and she started having fussy spells after bottle feeding and wouldn't calm down until she either burped or farted.

I tried Playtex's angled bottles but couldn't figure out how to use them.

Then I found Gerber's Nuk Orthodontic Vented Nipples and I never looked back. These nipples fit regular, cheap bottles. This meant no special bottle feeding system like Drop-ins or Dr. Brown's. The regular cheap bottle fit onto the Playtex breast pump as well; again no special bottle system.

I found that my daughter would collapse the silicone nipples but plugged away with the latex nipples with no problem. There are a couple of different sizes depending on the age of the child. I like the shape of the nipples as this is what the actual nipple would look like inside the mouth.
...
