I really liked these spoons. They were easy on my childs mouth and easy for her to use herself (we started letting her help almost as soon as she started eating solids). I love how the spoons change temperature to let you know it is too hot. The spoons do stain very easily however. Once she outgrew these spoons I threw them out instead of storing or passing on mainly for that reason. Great buy!
...

These spoons are ok. I like that they are soft and don't hurt my daughter when she bites down. We don't use these though because she bites down on them too much and don't fit a lot of food on on the spoon. They are dishwasher safe though.
...

babyt96792 says "This little spoon is sure to make you job easier!" about Gerber Infant Spoons

As a mother of two growing toddlers, i have had the opportunity to use the gerber infant spoons. Those little spoons are so convenient when you dealing with an infant because the spoons are so tiny and it makes my job so much easier. Its a great fit for an infants mouth and expecially when working with baby food, because you can adjust the amount of baby food on the spoons along with how much to input into your baby's mouth. The gerber infant spoons also come with a silicone tip which makes it even more convenient for an infant because it won't scratch their gums. The silicone tips makes for a comfortable feeding when dealing with infants. Speaking as a parent who has used this product with two children and also nieces and nephews, i would recommend this product to anyone with infants and is in need of a little help with feeding. The gerber infant spoons are the essential tool to have for feeding time with infants!
...

hotlips2330 says "Gerber Infant Spoons are the best spoons out on the market!" about Gerber Infant Spoons

Being on my forth child i want you to know that Gerber Infant spoons are fhe best peices of cultry i used with all my children. Once my children were able to eat cereal, baby foods, ect i went out and started buying different brand and kinds of spoons. I bought a package of gerber infant spoons on a trip to the store one day, mainly because they caught my eye. The information on the package had me wanting the give it a try.

The package i bought was a package of six spoons all in light pastel colors such as, pink, blue, green, yellow, purple, and white. Unfortunately since the colors are all light pastels they tend to hang on to the food stains.

These spoons make me feel safe when feeding my children. They have soft silicone tips which are gentle on the mouth and gums of your child. You dont have to worry about scrapping their gums causing them to bleed as you would have to worry about it with a metal spoon. Also the silicone tips change color if the babies food is too hot which allows you...
...

gnerai says "Simply the best spoon for first solid foods" about Gerber Infant Spoons

Gerber Infant spoons are, as it says in my sound bite, simply the best first spoon for the first solid foods a baby will eat. These spoons have a log handle which makes it easy for mom, dad, grandma, big brother, etc. to use. It also has a soft, small spoon end which is gentle on gums and developing teeth. One of my favorite features about these spoons is that they change colors when the food is too hot so I know that my baby is safe.

Do not be fooled by generic brands that eventually crack or do not tell you when a food is too hot for baby. Gerber is the brand that lasted through those first nibbles when the food was almost purely liquid to the biting due to those first teeth coming in to the point where my baby is now grabbing the spoon out of my hand and placing it in the dish she is eating from. Gerber also makes it easy to transition from infant to toddler with appropriately sized toddler spoons that still have a soft spoon end which continues to be gentle and tough throughout teething....
...

lbowman says "Perfect for my daughter just learning to eat with a spoon." about Gerber Infant Spoons

These Gerber spoons with rubber tips and metal handles are wonderful for my little girl who is 4 months old. We just started her on cereal about 2 or 3 weeks ago, so she is just learning to eat with a spoon like a big girl. The rubber tips are really good for her little gums as they are sensitive to other harder materials that could also ruin her gums. She loves the feel of the rubber against her gums, especially because I think she is starting to teeth. They clean up really well also. All I have to do is put it in the dishwasher when she is done eating and they clean up like new. The rubber part of the spoon has not worn off yet due to too many washings in the dishwasher, which is great that they are so durable. They come in great colors too. They have pastels and regular colors as well as colors for boys and colors for girls. They are convenient and easy to take on the road if you need them. Overall I love these spoons and so does my daughter!
...

BayouBengal says "Gerber Infant Spoons: Perfect Size for Feeding Little Ones!" about Gerber Infant Spoons

The Gerber Company has done it again! Gerber Infant Spoons are the perfect size for your babies first feedings with soft silicone tips to protect gums. I was introduced to the Gerber Infant Spoons by my oldest daughter when my first grandson was born a little over two years ago. There was not anything like this when my girls were babies and I quickly fell for these little spoons.

Gerber Infant Spoons

These spoons are about 6 inches long which makes them perfect for an adult to hold. The end of the spoon is tiny, making it the perfect size to fit into a babies' mouth. The tips of the Gerber Infant Spoons are coated in silicone in various colors. I purchased the two pack for keeping at my house. The 2 pack retails for around $1.99.

I really liked the thought of a silicone coated spoon tip. When you are introducing a baby to cereal, they don't like the sensation of cold metal going into their mouths. After all, they are used to warm things being put into their mouth, so......

Having two grown children of my own I was excited to hear I was going to be an aunty for the first time. Although my sister in law was not due for another 6 months I couldn't help checking out every baby department I could find. I was amazed at the incredible things that are available to new moms.

But I was pleased to see that Gerber still sells their Infant spoons. Out of all of the feeding products that I have tried over the years these spoons are still on the top of the list.

The soft covered spoon is gentle on your babies mouth. No hard edges. No hot spoons. No cold spoons. They are just the thing for tiny hungry mouths.
...

this2shallpass19 says "Adorable spoons are pefect for your baby's little mouth." about Gerber Infant Spoons

Gerber Infant Spoons come in a package of six little spoons that have silicone tips so that they are easy on the mouth and gums of a baby. The package of spoons comes in six different pastel colors: blue, green, pink, orange, yellow and white.

The end of the spoon is very small but perfect for babies. My son is 10 months old and he still uses these spoons. When I tried to use a bigger spoon that was for toddlers, the spoon held too much food and it wouldn't all fit in his mouth. I imagine I'll have to keep using these spoons for a while.

I think Gerber Infant Spoons are high-quality, durable spoons. The silicone tips have not worn out, ripped or torn yet - unless you ally turn on the garbage disposal with an infant spoon inside! I haven't experienced any problems with them except for a slight discoloration when used with tomato-based foods.

The Scoop!

Every parent needs baby spoons and these ones are perfect. They cost about $4.00 for a pack of six spoons.
...
