George Foreman GRV660 Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking

I returned this product without even using it.

The first thing I noticed was that there is a hole in the top which is almost as large as the top! The idea is that the bun warmer is set into the hole to keep fresh bread warm. However, while baking or otherwise using the oven, heat will escape from around the edges of the bun warmer.

Secondly, the edges of the front door don't meet the frame of the oven. I could almost put the tip of my little finger into one of the spaces. Another place where heat will escape.

Since my reason for buying a toaster oven was to save energy, the two above deficiencies were enough for me to return the toaster oven without even plugging it in!

George, you can do better than this

Because I have other George Foreman products that are very good, I was very disappointed in this one. The racks are made of wire that is not strong enough to hold a pyrex 6 inch by 8 inch glass dish filled with a pasta and vegetable...
...

The George Foreman Grill and Toaster Oven is a great tool to have in any house. The convenction oven is great for the kids to throw in a pizza or make a quick dinner of grilled chicken or nice grilled cheese sandwich.

It has definitely come in handy when I don't have time to make a detail dinner but healthy to throw a piece meat on the grill.
...

It's more vertical so it doesn't take much counterspace but it's big inside with two shelves plus a bread warmer on top so you can cook an entire meal at one time. It has a rotessorie, too! The oven is big enough for a regular (9 inch) square casserole dish. The timer is nice, too, and a great safety feature. Just set it and listen for the bell. It toasts evenly everytime. Great for cooking fish, vegetables, brownies--everything! It even has a "handle" to pull out the shelves without a hotpad. Everyone I know has been happy with their George Foreman products which is why I ordered the toaster oven. And, I wasn't disappointed. It would make a great wedding or housewarming gift. I'm ordering another one for our other home. It sits attractively on the counter.
...
