Game Informer is a great magazine for the gamer. I got my subscription through Gamestop. When you become a preferred member you get this magazine for 6 months. The magazine includes Feedback, Previews and reviews as well as many more articles. You get advice on playing games, tricks and tips. See whats coming out soon and what games are in the process of being made. In the back it lists all new games and the rating for that game for all systems. When I want a new game I flip to the back and read the reviews and see the ratings given by Game Informer and I pick my new game that way. I have NEVER been let down. Through Game Informer I have found many many great games and read interesting articles on my favorite games. The magazine is always thick and has great content that I want to read. All the ads are of games mostly and no junk. They tell you whats good and what to avoid. The staff does a very good job working on this magazine. For all those who love to play video games, Game Informer Magazine is a must read. It contains all the reviews, quotes, descriptions and rating of the most recent and most popular games. I have subscribed to Game Informer for two years and have been greatly impressed with the reviews and quality of the magazine. It also shows wonderful graphics from recent games that allows you to see the time and effort put in to designing and producing popular games.

I've been playing video games for a LONG time and have found Game Informer to be the best video game magazine on the news stand. Their news is as up to date as possible, reviews are well written and I think almost always spot on and their previews and extra are always interesting....

Overall, this is a fairly decent mag for gaming. I have been subscribing for a few years now and feel that it has gotten better. I like the "sneak peeks" and reviews of the games that they have. What I think is best about the reviews is that they have an additional rating from a second opinion....

Game Informer is the best Video Game magazine I have ever read. From their reviews, to their yearly E3 coverage, the magazine is good for all things video-game. Their reviews are un-biased and covera wide range of games. Seriously, you should buy these magazines.

I have been subscribing to this mag for a couple years, and think it's one of the best gaming mags available. I have several different consoles, and appreciate that they review games for all platforms. I like the rating system (1-10) instead of the too-hard-to-pin-down 1-5, and find the reviews well written and objective. While I have been gaming for years, I am not necessarily versed in computer lingo, but I never feel like an idiot after reading this mag; the writing is erudite but very easy to understand. I read several different gaming magazines each month, and feel this magazine strikes exactly the right balance between the more serious and more frivolous gaming magazines in the industry.

One suggestion: if you have a GameStop or affiliated store in your neighborhood, get your subscription through them. For about $15 you receive a 12-year subscription, and a card that gives you 10% off used games at these stores, as well as an extra 10% trade-in value on your used games (sometimes......

Let me start by saying, that I truly enjoy receiving my Game Informer magazine every month. I never subscribed to Game Informer. I signed up for EBGames' EDGE card a couple of years ago and the magazines just came with them. I figured at first, "Well it can't hurt to get another magazine." But as it has turned out, I have cancelled my subscriptions with the other magazines due to the fact that I enjoy getting all my information from Game Informer. I highly endorse this magazine to anyone who wants an objective viewpoint of the gaming world. They spends an equal time with every platform out there, and I like the way they review games also. Thanks Game Informer for everything. I plan to stay on board with you for a long time!

This is a very informative read as implied in they're name. It is very useful in determining what new games to purchase. With the price of video games what they are, I want to be sure I get only ones I'll enjoy. Its a very nice quality magazine as well. I'd recomend it to anyone serious about gaming....
