GE Spacesaver I would recommend this to anyone who wants a microwave above there

stove. Its small but yet it does everything a full size microwave would do. I would buy

another one just like it if need be. Its easy to take care of and cooks as well as a full size

microwave and yet it doesn't take up space in the kitchen. It has alot of extras also like a

light and exaust fan and also even a defrost that I use often. Most microwaves take up alot of space this one is like it says a spacesaver that goes above the stove and oven

and works as well as a full size microwave it comes highly recommened by me for heating

foods cooking foods and defrosting an item is simple and an easy way if your in a hurry

to cook something. The colors of my microwave are the same as my stove so it fits into

my kitchen decor very good it kinda looks like my stoves oven above the stove. The good and the bad there would be nothing bad about this microwave its a must for any

kitchen in my opinion.

I bought a GE Spacemaker Microwave a few months ago and I absolutely love it. Not only did it free up space on my counter top but it works great. I am very impressed by the way it cooks my food so fast and throughly. Very easy to use, even my sons cook now. It was also very easy to install. I will be getting a Spacesaver from now on.

I bought this microwave from wal mart thinking it would only last a few years. I was intending on getting something more pricey later on. It went through college and the first few years of marriage with me, and so far I have had no problems with it at all. I never thought it would hold up this long. It is really easy to clean. I can also move it around my kitchen to add a new look when I want because it is so small and compact. They come in white and black, but I chose white. My microwave has even provided my family with a thanksgiving style dinner on more than one occasion. It powers through everything I put in it. I also like the preset settings like for popcorn and a drink. It also defrosts well. You can change the power settings to fit accordingly. It is easy to manuver. My small five year old niece knows how to operate it. My spacemaker is the best microwave I have ever bought and it only cost me abour $60.00

I have been using a Spacemaker JVM1540 Microwave for awhile now and I totally love it. It was money worth spent. I was looking at cheaper models before purchasing this one and I'm glad I decided to purchase this microwave. Between myself and my adult sons this microwave gets a vigorous workout daily. The microwave does a great job heating and cooking foods. It was easy to install. There are many options for defrost, heat and eat that I don't know what I did before the microwave was invented.

I love, love, love the GE Spacemaker Microwave Oven HVM1540LM1CS! The Clean Steel finish is fantastic and easy to clean. The smooth interior is easy to maintain. The revolving tray promotes even cooking. What I love best are the "add 30 seconds" button for short cooking times, and the Express Cook buttons for 1-6 minutes. This oven is powerful, easy to use and quick to clean up.

I took the wire rack out because I don't want to use it, but I guess it might be helpful for some.

Having it hung on the wall over the stove keeps it out of the way and off the counters, for a neater kitchen.

Mine is less than 4 yrs old, and bit the dust. It is now being used as a Over the Range cabinet.

Worked great when it worked. Way to many fancy buttons for me. I perfer things simple.

GE charges $85 for a service call, not including part to fix it.

I really like it. Great design and color. It also saves me a lot of space in my kitchen. The cooking options is very good too.Its good for the price and easy to install. Easy to use and looks good great in my kitchen with my other kitchen appliances. I recommend it.

I have owned this GE microwave for about two years and have been extemely happy with the product. We are a family of two and are usually on the go...we use a microwave a whole lot cooking the majority of our dinners and reheating meals. This microwave does a great job of evenly heating food. The turntable in the microwave ensures that the food is cooked more evenly. There are lots of cooking options and defrost options which are a wonderful plus with a busy schedule. The only problem we have had is that this microwave seems to not heat as quickly if it has been used for several minutes. This is not a huge issue, we found we just need to add to the cooking time if heating back to back microwave dinners. The interior of the microwave is a good size, I have not had any problems with not being able to fit plates and bowls in this microwave. I would have liked to see more color choices, we ended up with a white which would not have been my first pick. But, for the price, I...

I have the GE Profile Spacemaker OTR Microwave in Stainless steel. It goes with the stove we got. We've had it for about 2 1/2 years and have not had the first problem with it. It's very easy to use and there are some really cool features to the microwave. There is a kitchen timer that you can use when cooking things not in the microwave that can be used even if you are using the microwave for cooking something else. There are a lot of presets like speed settings (like if you hit the 1, the microwave automatically cooks for 1 minute) There are presets for popcorn and frozen meals. Also, it will defrost based on weight of whatever you are defrosting. I am not a very handy person when it comes to things in the kitchen so I am very happy that this product has been easy to use. I really don't have the time to read instruction manuals, so I was stoked to be able to just start cooking with this microwave right away!

My GE experience... goes like this.

My husband & I purchased a home in May 2000. We had to gut the kitchen and start over. I was very excited to get all new appliances. We shopped around and decided on the GE Profile Series. We got the gas stove/oven and the OTR microwave. We bought the refrigerator in 2004.

The microwave started malfunctioning at about 3 yrs of its installation. Every time I used it, sparks would fly and it would just go dark. We called a GE service person to come to the house. The charge was $79.95 JUST to ring our doorbell. GE calls this a service charge. The microwave could not be repaired. We were offered a replacement but we had to pay the service charge.

In April 2008, not only did this "replacement" microwave stop working, but our refrigerator also broke. We again called GE to come repair them. This time, the charge to ring our doorbell was $79.95 for EACH appliance. The microwave could not be repaired and GE did not offer a replacement, nor did they offer...
