The GE Microwave-Convection Oven-JE1590, is a spectacular product. I have one in my home and it is just amazing. I love the fact that it operates as a conentional oven, in fact I managed to cook my entire thanksgiving and Christmas dinner in it. The conviences I enjoy everyday with warming things up using the microwave part of the product is very comforting as well because it fits into your busy lifestyle. Have I forgot to tell you that this is a incredible complimant to my entire kitchen.

This microwave is not only good looking but it also works great. i bought mine at Wal - Mart and was not sure of what to spect from it but now I can not live without it.

The brushed stainless teel looks great in the kitchen and it doesn't show finger marks as much as regular stainless steel.

It has different options, popcorn, etc, it is fast and cooks evenly.

It also has a browner, which I love when I want a little crispiness on certain meals.

It has a nice size with modern and sleek design and you can take advantage of the space inside using almost any container, round, oval, square. It is really roomy inside which is great for larger families or when having people over.

It comes with a good warranty or you can extend it if you wish.

It defrosts, cooks, warms up, makes pop corn and browns!!!!!!!!!!!! Use this convection option to reheat foods like pizza and you'll love it because it will be like using the oven and it will not get all soggy.

I purchased the GE PEB1590 in December, and it is very efficient. For example, It took 4 1/2 minutes to pop a bag of microwave popcorn in my previous Montgomery Wards convection microwave, and it takes less that 2 1/2 minutes with the GE. I haven't used the convection feature yet, but I anticipate that it will work well. The turntable made an awful racket when I first got the oven, but the service department shipped me a new guide roller assembly that took care of the problem. In addition to the microwave, I purchased a 5-year extended warranty from HomeEverything for an extremely reasonable price....

I use this when I go to Mom's house and it is great. I will put one in my new house. The convection features seem to make the food come out so moist and delicious. From what I have seen it's worth checking out....

We purchased this when our microwave died a year ago. Keeping in mind the rising cost of gas and electricity, we figured this would serve double duty. Instead of heating up our large oven, we use this 95% of the time. We use it to "nuke" food, heat coffee, popcorn and the usual things a microwave is used for. But the bonus is we use this versatile oven for everything from cooking a roast beef to baking the brownies for dessert. It does not heat the entire house, cooks in less time and everything comes out perfect. A 6 cup cupcake pan and small brownie pan fit perfectly. It also has a rack so you can bake a 2 layer cake! This oven literally does it all! ...

Have the full size microwave convection oven sitting in a special vented, lighted cabinet over the range. It will hold a large turkey, broils , bakes roasts, everything. The oven in the range holds pots and pans....

Tthe GE Microwave with convection is great!!! I have had about 4 microwaves in 35 years and it is easy to clean. There is a small learning curve time period but once you master it--watch out. It is really roomy inside which is great for larger families. I would recommend it for everyone except the techno phobic who hates to learn new tricks....

This microwave works great and looks even better. We were able to place ours over the stove to save space. We also purchased the clean steal which looks exactly like stainless without the worry of fingerprints....

My old microwave stopped heating shortly after we moved at the end of last month and I needed one in a hurry. So I drove as fast as I could (okay so it wasn't that much of an emergency, but anyway) to the Wal-mart because it's closest. Out of all the microwaves on display they had only 3 in stock so I chose this one.

I was a little nervous about the dial but it works great as long as you're not like my husband who cooks things for 17 seconds. The dial turns in 10 sec increments. I also love the browning function. It allows you to set a cook time and browning time that runs without interference. I also really like the look of this machine. It fits in nicely with the new kitchen.

I'd say a very good by for around a hundred bucks!

fantastic idea! i hardly heat up the big oven anymore. i think it would be especially helpful for a single person or smaller family but i still use it all the time. the possibilities are endless! from baking bread to reheating a cup of coffee - you can brown and microwave. incredible!!...

Single + Guy + City = Takeout Food * Many Nights a Week. As a result, I often reheat leftovers like pizza or Chinese food. In the past, I would reheat pizza in the gas oven and reheat Chinese food in the microwave. Well, not any more! I don't think I have used my regular oven since I purchased the GE JE1590 Convection / Microwave Oven.

This is not your ordinary microwave oven. It includes a convection oven that moves hot air past the food. I can use this convection option to reheat foods like pizza (from Pequod's Pizza on the corner of Clybourn and Webster in Chicago). The crust doesn't get soggy and chewy like it would in a regular microwave oven. I can still use the microwave option just as a normal microwave -- for leftovers like Spicy Crazy Noodles (from Oodles of Noodles on Clark Street in Chicago). If I am in a hurry, I will use the combination option that takes advantage of the quick microwave heating along with the browning of the convection oven.
