Just know that GE provides terrible customer service and has an issue with warranty replacement. I would have expected better from a solid company like GE. This appliance didn't work from the moment we moved in to our new home and it still took GE over a year to replace it! I even had to "wing it" on Thanksgiving!! No oven on Thanksgiving???? That definitely could have gone smoother.</p>&#13; <p>Do yourself and your family a big favor......don't buy this appliance and stay away from GE unless you enjoy unhappy endings.</p>... Freestanding, Clean Steel  Electric Range, (Model JBP68MMBS) at Home Depot on their "no interest, no payment for a year" credit card.  On top of that, I got a rebate from GE making this range pretty darn affordable. </p><p>I love the range- it looks great in my kitchen and the clean steel is fabulous- no real noticeable finger prints and it reflects the light making it a bright spot in the kitchen.  I was trying to update my kitchen from a dark and very dated look and the range certainly helped.  </p><p>It is a glass top range- not something I was really shopping for but it is definitely nice and eliminates having to clean burners..I have to say though that I am not real fond of the black glass top.  It is hard to keep clean and very dark - something I was trying to avoid in my small kitchen.  </p><p>There are four burners, just like most ranges but this range has one burner that is adjustable- you can have a large pot on it or a small pot.  It is really a nice thing to...</p>...
