I love my GE portable dishwasher. For years I have been without a dishwasher and it was for the birds. I have such a big family that we always have dirty dishes. It seems they pile up faster than I can wash them. Anyway life has been so much easier with my GE portable dishwasher at night time before bed we plug it up, load it with dishes and dish soap, push start then we are off to bed. We wake up in the morning with clean dishes, unplug it and roll it out of sight. It's a perfect way for me to have my cake and eat it too. I need my cabinet space but I need my dishwasher. Yeah I have both. The quality is excellent as well I usually rinse off the dishes but there are times that I am in to big of a hurry and just put them in there with food all over the dishes. Guess what it comes out perfectly clean. Like I said in my sound bite it is so easy that my hisband will do the dishes now.. he never woull before. My kiddos also help out alot more. Thanks GE for a wonderful product.

This GE dishwasher does a good job I guess, but I always rinse the dishes because there are only 2 of us and we don't run it every day. It is noisier than the Bosch I had at my last house, and doesn't hold as much, either. If you have a small family it is adequate, but I would rather have my Bosch back!

I had a maytag dishwasher,had to wash the dishes first,so they would come clean,but I purchased a GE profile,great,so quiet,and cleans amazing,lots more room...

it works really well and i have even had to run my work clothes through it to get stains off of them and they actually came out clean.Amazing what those things can really do....

GE portable Dishwasher, we live in a house with baseboard hotwater heat so we had

to get a portable dishwasher. The home we live in was a homestead home and had the

radiator ho water heat, and we replaced the radiators with baseboard hotwater heat.

We do not have cupboards that a diswasher would fit between and cannot have it against

the wall, so the portable one works well for us, we pull it up to the small kitchen sink and

attach a cable to the kitchen faucet that intakes the hot water to wash the dishes and

drains the water out into the sink when the dish washing cycle is done. It has been a

great addition to our "old" kitchen.

This is a piece of garbage! Unless you can afford to replace the GE dish washer every 3 months do NOT purchase this product! We called for repair because it stopped working. It just blinked! Still blinking they kept promiseing to send a repair man. THat was a year ago. Last time I talked to the warrenty company they said it was OUT of warrenty there fore they could send some one that day... but it would cost me 80.00 and hour to repair it! Hog wash told them what they could do with them selves and hung up. I called Best Buy where I purchased it and was told they had no recall on the item therefor could do nothing to assist me. So folks stay away from GE dishwashers (this is my second in less than 2 years. WITH the same problem!) and forget Best Buy when purchasing ANYTHING!!!

Nothing special it is about 5 years old and still works just fine. Yes I would like a bigger dishwasher some day but I don't think this one is going to break any time soon....
