Dakkota says "Frontline's guarantee policy is a scam" about Frontline Plus

Frontline has a guarantee policy that says they will refund your money if their product doesn't work-they are liars and they have very poor customer service.

I used Frontline for years but this summer I couldn't get rid of the fleas. My veterinarian said that sometimes the pet's metabolism changes and the medication won't work anymore. I bought Revolution and the fleas were gone immediately. The vet's office gave me Frontline's number and said they had a money back guarantee. I called and the woman immediately started asking me questions. I thought that she was just gathering facts but what she was actually doing was trying to find information to make me ineligible for the refund. She asked how many pets I have inside and outside so I told her that I have 3 inside cats and there are some stray cats in the neighborhood that come in my backyard but hey don't come inside. She told me that I don't qualify for the refund because of these outside cats because I when I go outside I could bring...
...

fluffstuff10 says "Fleas win again!" about Frontline Plus

I treat my miniature schnauzer, pebbles, as if she were family. She is about to reach 3 years this upcoming March. My vet advised me that the flea collar I was using could be damaging to her and recommended me Frontline. I know it's significantly more expensive, but I wanted her to have the best. Since she is a long haired dog, the solution I had to put on her neck looked as if I had rubbed her with cooking oil. This effect lasted the entire month. She loves it when I rub the back of her neck and everytime I did so I had to wash my hands because of the chemical.

I had a hard time opening the package and at one point I had some fling into my eye. I had read the instructions which asked me to keep it away from my face, but somehow it managed to get me anyway. I just washed it out with water and had no issues after that.

Luckily pebbles didn't get sick from this medicine, but I did notice that the fleas jumped on her more when she was on it rather than the flea collar. Overall, I am displeased...
...

I have used Frontline for years and years and have always loved it. This year, something is wrong!!! It doesn't kill my dog's fleas. We have been infested since spring, and it is November!! I have applied it to my dog monthly and even sooner than monthly as recomended by my vet. I have had to take my dog in for cortisone shots because she was itching her hair out. I applied it 12 days ago and have not seen any decrease in the fleas! This is not like Frontline! I used to only apply it every 2-3 months and it was wonderful! I tried to call Frontline and they were horribly RUDE and insisted NOTHING changed, and the product still works. I thought I was CRAZY until I started talking to other people and researching it online and now I see I am NOT the only one with this problem!! If you are having this problem, you are NOT alone!!! Please call and report it to anyone you can. I am going to call the BBB and anyone else I can find.
...

My poor dog of 13 years died after this product was applied to her. We had used another brand for years, but decided to upgrade to Frontline Plus, because it was more pricey and we had actually seen a flea on our dog for the first time in her life. Little did we know it was going to take her life. She convulsed, vomited, and could not control her functions. She could barely walk and would not eat (even her favorites!). By the time she got to the vet, she had a very faint heartbeat and it was too late to save her. Of course, just like in the human world, an adverse reaction can't be proven in a court of law - but take it from our family - do not use this product on an old dog - and stick to what you know!
...

We have been using Frontline on our dog for about the past three years. We got her from the local pound and she had all kinds of health issues including what looked like a prior flea-infestation. Since we have had her on Frontline her scars have healed and her skin and fur are healthier. She has had no reoccurrence of fleas and we live in an area where there is a lot of conservation. She has never picked up anything. It is very easy to use and was recommended by out vet. I am very happy with this product for my dog. First of all, we only have to put it on once a month. My dog hates collars and this just goes on her back. So, it is very easy to use. It also dries very quickly so she doesn;t spread the medicine all over my house or onto my kids. Lastly, it does not harm her skin. My dog is very sensitive to every medication and has had some allergic reactions. She has never had a problem with Frontline.
...

missyyy2 says "Frontline Plus is a Great Product" about Frontline Plus

I've been using Frontline Plus for dogs for several years now, and my pet has never had fleas or ticks since I started applying it on him once a month. I've read several reviews where other people have said that this product does not work and their pets still have ticks/fleas, but that isn't the case with my dog. My golden retriever is exposed to heavily wooded areas and fields quite often too. The major drawback in my opinion is the price. For a tiny amount it is rather expensive, but you can probably stretch out the time between re-applying to more than the recommended once a month. Several of my friends only apply Front Line Plus on their pets every six to eight weeks without seeing any issues with the product losing its effectiveness, especially in the Winter and other times of the year when flea and tick season is over. To summarize, the product works great for me, but it would be nice if it wasn't so expensive.
...

lablovers says "awful product and very insensitive company" about Frontline Plus

Not only am I very disappointed with this product but I am also very disappointed with the company who answers the phone when called for assistance. First the product doesn't work! I used frontline for my 5 dogs and two cats, three days later they all still have ticks (this is the season) and not only do they contract the ticks but they are attached right where I administered the frontline! I was told that frontline is not a repellant but kills the ticks 24 to 48 hours after they attach and engorge......well isn't that what they do anyway. Three days after administering the product I am pulling ticks off fully engorged. The company offered a one time compensation but only for 5 or less pets and since I have 5 dogs and two cats they offered nothing! I personally think this is awful business practice as they should have offered for the 5 pets and said sorry about the others instead of saying "you get nothing because you have two extra pets" I would not recommend this product...
...

GoudaCheese007 says "Worked for a while" about Frontline Plus

During the summer months my dog is always outside and I needed something that would kill the fleas. Well I bought frontline and was a little disappointed how it worked. It did kill the fleas, but I would still see a couple hanging out. For the price I wanted it to really work, but more importantly I wanted my dog to be comfortable. I noticed about two weeks after the treatment their were less fleas, but I could not get rid of all of them. I never saw any ticks on my dog so that was a plus and towards the end of the month he just seemed to be covered again. Its really frustrating because I just wanted the product to work....

We are an animal rescue group with a shelter that houses our 4 legged friends until their forever homes get found. We love Frontline because it kills fleas and ticks and also has alot of other benefits. Comparing it to Revolution which is also another fabulous product the Frontline works best because it kills all the types of ticks where Revolution only works on the American Tick. Wish we could find the product at a better cost though because it is on the expensive side. It isn't bad for a person with one or two dogs but for us having several thousand dogs going through the shelter on an annual basis it runs into alot of money.
...

I cannot say enough about frontline plus, of course there are the extreme few exceptions, but most dogs have no problem with it and it is extremely effective. I reccomend anyone who sees a flea on their pet put it on immediately. Personally I prefer not to use anything chemical on my pets, but if fleas are present it is so important to get them taken care of immediately, and Frontline Plus does exactly that. It may seem a bit pricey, but the alternatives will cost much more in the end by the time you treat your pet, house, and yard you will have more money invested, and days to weeks worth of work tho get the fleas eliminated.
...
