I moved into my new residence recently. One of the more compelling reasons we took this place was the dream kitchen. This kitchen is, first of all, huge. It has all stainless steel appliances including the Frigidaire Professional Series dishwasher.

This unit has the option to run both racks, the bottom rack only, or the top rack only. The normal run time for a full wash is over 90 minutes, but running just one rack cuts that time by one third.

The cycles you can choose are: pots and pans; normal wash; or china crytal. There is an option for sanitizing and high heat wash. There is also an option for no heat dry.

This dishwasher also has a delay start option, which you can have the unit programmed to go on after you leave for work, or after you go to bed.

There are many compartments inside for small or large utensils. The racks have rows whbich can be folded down for accomodating a large bowl or something unusual.

I thought it was the age of my other dishwasher that made it necessary to rinse every bit of food off of my dishes before running the dishwasher. Turns out my brand new dishwasher has the same requirement. I find that it works best to was every load on the pots and pans cycle, too. I often find residue in the bottom of my drinking glasses...I'm starting to wonder if I have a defective machine....
