I owned this machine for 7 years when it died. I say died because the cost to repair was $580. It cleaned very well and I really loved the machine, but when something goes out and cannot be repaired for a price less than buying a new machine, that's just ridiculous! The machine was exceptional for cleaning and efficiency while it lasted, and while I agree wholeheartedly that front loader machines offer superior cleaning and less wear on fabric, I'm not certain the price is justified when life span is taken into consideration. This machine lasted from 5-7 years less than previous top loading machines I have owned, brand names of Maytag, Whirlpool, Speed Queen. Price for repair was checked with two service providers. Both also said I was lucky to get 7 years out of this machine, that most machines of this model don't make it past 4 years. The parts that failed were the inner drum and bearing and the right shock.

I love this washing machine. I have used it for over 4 years now and I have never had one single problem out of it. I can easily do two loads of laundry in one wash. I can even wash my delicates on the delicate cycle. The lid locks so my daughter cant get into it. It's the best!!!

I live in a small town where water is high! After my other top loader went on the blink. I chose the washer and dryer frontloader gallery series and I tell you I am so, so happy . My water bill made an a 50 dollar difference in price monthly. It uses 17 gallons of water versus 40 gallons. I use very little laundry deteregent and I was able to stack this set which was such a plus in my long but small laudry room. This was so perfect.

This is our first brand new washing machine, and also the first front loader. I am satisfied on all accounts. I immediately noticed that our clothes came out cleaner and drier compared to our previous top loading machine. But what amazed me the most was its quiet operation. I work from a home office that is next to the laundry room, and when I first began using this machine I had to check to be certain it was running. In all respects I am very happy with this washer!...
