This is the second Frigidaire front loader I have owned. The first one lasted almost ten years and would probably still be running if I was more careful (should have re-balance the machine after moving with a level, not by eyeballing---totally my fault!) Despite my ineptness, I purchased another Frigidaire without question! It is a great machine....great cleaning capacity and easy to program. Plus it saves so much water!

My old reliable Kenmore washer recently died....mid-cycle of course! So when I went into the Sears store looking for a new one, I really was interested in the new technology that was out there. However, my husband and I are empty nesters and he couldn't really see the value in a high efficiecy model as there are just the 2 of us and he has recently retired. RATS! The I saw the Frigidaire 3.5 cu. ft Energy Star Washer. WIth the 10% off sale that Sears was having, plus the $50. rebate from Frigidaire, the price was only $60 more than a "new old reliable" model. So, I bought it.

I have only washed 4 loads in it so far, but I LOVE IT!!!! As another review said, there are so many choices for may different cycles. This allows me to personalize each load. For example, when I wash our whites I always like to pre-soak because of my workout white socks,. This meant shutting off the machine and then remembering to run it later. This Frigidaire has a soak cycle. It is also the quietest...

Rated a "Best Buy" product by a leading consumer magazine I put this Frigidaire Gallery Series machine at the top of my list when it was time for a new washer. Now, after having bought and used it for several months I must agree with the consumer reviews- You just can't beat this machine for the price.

I had already determined I wanted a front loader before comparison shopping. Unlike the old top loading machines the front loaders are easy on the planet using much less water. This Frigidaire Gallery Series model goes beyond that by sensing just how much water is needed per load depending on size and cycle chosen. Front loaders don't have agitators so they are fabulous for delicate items and can easily accomodate larger items as well. This model can comfortably wash a queen size comforter without effort.
