My old washer began making horrendous noises, although it still worked great. Finally, I could take it no longer! We went out looking for new washers and were overwhelmed at all the choices and prices! I really wanted a front-load washer, as I have been reading about them and how well they clean, but the first few I saw were way out of my price range. Many of the high end brand names had numerous models, and different options. Then I saw the Frigidaire Front Load Washer - model GLTF2940FE. It has many of the same options as the more expensive brands, and many different cycles to choose from - soak, bulky, wool, sport, silk, heavy, normal, perm. press, delicate, handwash, etc. I have tried most of the cycles and really like the way they work - the only exception would be the quickwash - it still takes 32 minutes. Although, my friends who have the higher end models say that is the same problem they have with quick wash, so I think it's universal. My washer has a huge capacity...

I love this Frigidare front load washing machine! I cant wait to get the matching dryer to complete my set! It is everything I wanted in a washing machine! I love that is uses very little water. It is very nice looking in my laundry room....I show all our guest our laundry room...I used to keep that door closed! I am very proud of our purchase! Frigidare is realiable company and I would recommend it for any family!...
