If your into classics made into remakes this one is for you. If youve been following the big three meaning michael meyers,freddy krueger and jason vorhees. Youll notice these are becoming more realistic using a more down to earth touch which makes them scarier. In example parts in the new version are things that similar real life deviants would do as in capture and retain people. Its not just the simple slasher flick it once was the cast was fair and the graphics were great but what made the film was the more indepth explortation of the characters and giving you more insight into the character. It is a must for anyone who is in love with the original feature.

I have seen all the Friday the 13th movies and this one ranked highest. They really did a good good remaking this classic.

I love a good horror movie, and enjoy the suspense of excitement of the original Friday the 13th movies, so I was excited to see the remake. I was curious to see how they could improve on a 'classic' movie with all the technology available today. It turns out, they didn't improve on it at all, and in fact they made it worse.

I was so disappointed with the remake of Friday the 13th. What I like most about the original Friday the 13th movies is the chase. You know, the victims hiding in the woods, Jason stalking them with an axe in hand, and even though you know they won't escape, the chase is exciting. There is NONE of that in the remake (except for at the end). Literally, Jason walks up to a victim, he kills them, and he moves on. BORING.

The classic Friday the 13th movies all have a little bit of nudity and sex, and there's really nothing wrong with it. However, in the remake their is GRAPHIC (YES, VERY GRAPHIC) sex scenes. ...

Friday the 13th (2009) is suspenseful, thrilling and jump-worthy! It re-writes the story to fit for the now. Jason's return to the screen in even more frightful scenes! The story starts out with a group of young adults heading into the woods for a night of fun. That night of fun ends with only one survivor. With her brother now on the hunt for her, we watch as Jason continues his reign of terror through the campgrounds of Crystal Lake. With a killing appearance by Willa Ford (singer of hit "I Wanna be Bad") and starring Derek Mears (Hills Have Eyes II) as Jason, there's a new generation to kill. The 12th movie for the Jason Voorheese character shows to be even more cutting-edge and suspenseful than the previous 11. If you are looking for a newer movie that still sticks to the "old school rules" of horror movies, this is the movie to see! You will jump, you will scream, you will want to watch it again!

Friday the 13th (2009) movie is suspenseful, has you sitting on the edge of your seat to see what or where things will happen next, it has a great "jump factor" (i jumped several times). If you are thinking Jason always does the same thing, killing, well yes that is so, but this time, I think its a little more intriguing by the way he does things, ( I don't want to tell all the things that happen).

Clay (Jared Padalecki) is on a search for his sister, who has been missing for about a month. He goes to "Camp Crystal Lake" since that is where she had went to before she became missing. Clay goes around asking different townspeople if they have seen his sister. He meets up with a group of college kids that are up at the lake for a fun weekend. They are all in for alot more then what they had planned for the weekend.

Jason (Derek Mears) lives up to all expectations with his machete. He seems to walk a little faster. Jason even tries out a bow and arrow too.
