I adopted my first cat, Morris, back in Feb of this year.He is two or three depending on who you ask! I had no idea what to do with a cat, what to buy, what he needed or what products were best. I walked down the pet isle and saw Fresh Steps and remembered seeing an ad for it on TV and thought I'd give it a try. A very smart choice on my part. I couldn't have done better. This iaa great litter. It has a nice smell, there is no odor in the box or in my house, it clumps nicely, and clean up is super easy. And the most important thing, Morris loves it! I learned that it has carbon inside the granules. Carbon helps neutralize the odors before they leave the box. It contains a patented antimicrobial agent to help fight the growth of odor-causing bacteria as well. There site has a lot of great information on it as well. You can collect Paw Points from the purchases you make, enter them at the site and earn rewards and coupons. Other things they have on their site are promotions, a community...
...

I have owned cats all of my life and so have tried many brands of littler. For the past three years this has been the ONLY brand we will use. My Mom talked me into trying it and I am so glad that she did. We have 5 rescued cats and are also a foster home for our shelter. We have absolutely no litter odor using this product. This has been a life saver! It smells fresh and clean and my cats dont mind the fresh scent. The paw points rewards they have is a good touch to an already great thing. We have received three great items from this program for free. I will never use another brand again.
...

One thing in life you can't skimp on is cat litter. Every owner will testify that there is nothing worse than the smell of cat urine after it has ammonified or sat in a litter box for awhile. This litter helps with the smell as well as clumps better for easy scooping and cleanup. If you go to Costcos- they sell 40lbs bags for $10...hell of a deal. Especially if you intend to own more than one cat and want to clean your box out every few days.....

meow
...

When I first heard I was getting my first kitten I went kitty shopping. Toys, litter box, toys, cat condo, toys, food, toys and kitty litter that would clump and so my home wouldn't smell like a cat. Love the cat not the smell.

I chose "Fresh Step Scoopable litter with odor-eliminating carbon". I mostly looked for the clumping litter and I smelled the box and I was sold. I bought the smallest box just in case she didn't like it (I was told if the cat jumps in the litter box and right out they don't like their litter).

Miss Scrappy came home for the first time and I showed her where her little box was and the rest of the house...We were lucky because she went right to her litter box every time. My husband and I were sitting in the living room after I was done cleaning her litter box...we heard her digging and digging and about 40 min later my husband asked what the heck she was doing in there. So I went to go check it out to make sure all was ok and the little fuzz ball was...
...

Fresh Step clumping kitty litter is the best litter my cat has used so far. There is very little odor. The clumping makes it very simple to scoop out and dispose of. You also don't have to completely replace as often as some litters such as Johnny Cat. I replace once a week, while scooping it on a daily basis. My cat also prefers the clumping litter to the sand litter, because the urine does not sit at the bottom of the pan. He is very happy with it....

Bottom-Line: If the manufacturer can create a truly dust free formula, Fresh Step will be the must-have kitty litter of the 21st century.

Our three-year old kitty, Naima, is a bit of a princess-very particular and fastidious. In fact, she's appropriately named after the winner of "America's Next Top Model." Naima is so refined and dainty that she would never be caught dead emerging from such an indelicate place as a litter box. When nature calls, she minces towards the litter box (covered for privacy!), looks around to make sure no one is watching, and then gingerly steps in. She's so self-conscious, that when she's finished, she dashes out of the litter box, streaks through the living room, and sprints up the staircase. It's as if she's ashamed and wants disassociate herself from the uncouth litter box odor.

Of course, since this is the only situation in which Naima runs at top speed through the house, she's not exactly discreet and thereby defeats the purpose of trying to...
...
