I think Fresca Peach is delicious and I would consider myself to be a heavy user. It's bubbly and sweet and a great change from water, water, water. Also it's good to have an option besides colas. When this first came out you could find it in the 7-11 and quickie marts, but I haven't seen it lately. Bring back the Fresca Peach!

Years ago, Fresca (produced by the Coca-Cola Company) was considered to be a rather exclusive ... almost elitist ... soda for people with discriminating tastes. It wasn't always easy to find in the stores either. I guess I must have given up on it totally because I had forgotten about it until suddenly it resurfaced in promising sparkling fruit flavors such as Peach Citrus and Black Cherry. I decided to give Fresca Sparkling Peach Citrus a shot.

STATS:

A 12-oz. can is considered to be a single serving which supposedly contains no calories and 35 mg. sodium. Included with the rash of almost undecipherable ingredients are citric acid, "natural flavors" and the concentated grapefruit juice which is the major component of the famous Fresca taste. I would have preferred this delightful beverage to taste a bit more peachy than it does but I'm not complaining.

TASTE TIP:

Here's something odd. Normally I prefer carbonated beverages to be as cold as possible, but Fresca Sparkling Peach...

Mmmm....what a great find! I've been tryig to cut back on my caffiene, looking to the "clear" sodas to give me the carbonation I love without the caffiene. I first had this when a lady who hosted Bunko served it. I immediately went to the store to purchase some of the peach and the black cherry, which I like equally well. Crisp, refreshing and uniqely different. I even have to fight to keep my 16 year old son out of my stock or double up on it when he's around!...

I grew up drinking regular Fresca so was surprised last year to see these new flavors coming out. I decided to try the peach flavor and really enjoyed it! It was quite refreshing and peach flavor was perfectly mild. I would definitely recommend this soda!...

If you haven't checked out the new'ish' Fresca flavors yet (Peach and Black Cherry), give'em a try!

They're great thirst quenchers if you need a little carbonation (like I do), and they make excellent mixed drinks in the place of other 'white' sodas you may currently use.

It just adds a little more flavor, and that's a good thing, in my book.
