This glossing cream by Frederic Fekkai is awesome for coarse, curly, dry hair.

I have very curly and coarse color treated ethnic hair so I need products that are exceptionally good!

I put glossing cream in my hair when it is towel dry and let my curls dry au naturel and it keeps my curls soft and defined with little to no frizz. This product contains olive oil so it is SUPER moisturizing as well as a real shine producer, which is really hard to get on my kind of hair unless I have my hair professionally bown out at a good salon.

Sometimes I flat iron my hair as well becuase I love it straight and rub a dap of FredericFekkai glossing cream in my hair to give it a little definition and lots of shine

It's works and is definitely worth the money-only drawback is that is you blowout your hair you can't use te glossing cream every day to refresh or else you end up looking like a greasy mess- make sure also that you really distribute the product evenly through out your hair-that's why I prefer...
...

I have naturally curly hair and because of that, it is on the dry side. I have tried a bazillion different hair products and have recently come across one that is by far the best I have ever tried. I made an order from Ulta.com and in the box with my merchandise, was a couple samples of Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream. I had never heard of it before but when I tried it, I couldn't believe how wonderful it made my hair look!

About Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream

This product is a leave-in styling cream designed to add moisture, manageability, and eliminate frizz. It contains pure olive oil that helps protect against humidity and leaves hair shiny and smooth. There is also UVA and UVB sunscreens to protect hair. It is suitable for all hair types. It can be purchased at several online stores as well as some brick and mortar stores such as Bath & Body Works. Online prices range from around $9.00 for a 1.6 oz. trial size, $20 for 4 oz. and around $27.50 for 7 oz.

My Experience

I really didn't think...
...

It is lightweight, smells heavenly, can be used on wet or dry hair. This is my favorite hair cream, I put it on during frizzy day when my hair isn't cooperating and sometimes when I need that extra luxurious pep...which is often.

It leaves my hair soft and manageble with a nice shine. Strangers even as what perfume it is - when it is just the olive oil based scent in the cream's ingredients.

It is overpriced and i really do wish that it was cheaper. $24 - Yikes! If it was, I would really add it as a daily part of my regime. It also can be very gross if too much is applied, use first on dry hair to know how much should be used for you hair type.
...

Being low maintenance, I'm not much of a beauty diva. However, even I have heard of the hair styling guru, Frederic Fekkai. When I opened the package of a recent Bath and Body Works order, I was pleased to unearth a free sample of Fekkai Glossing Cream.
I do have dry hair that I need to keep moisturized, so I figured this would be the perfect product to test. The package promises that the glossing cream "hydrates, sleeks, and shines." Who wouldn't get excited by the prospect of shiny moisturized hair?

I opened the sample to try it right away, and the first thing I noticed was the lovely fragrance. The glossing cream contains the hair-smoothing and softening agents of dimethicone and olive oil, so I had high hopes for the product. I squeezed a pea-sized dollop of cream on my hands and rubbed my hands together for several seconds. I then smoothed the glossing cream onto my dry hair. I didn't notice anything special, but my hair did feel a bit softer in general.

As I was combing...
...

There are many fine products out there that promise high gloss, damaged hair repair, moisturizing, fly-away taming, and more. I've tried a few (by no means all), and for this bleach-blonde, Fekkai is the winner. The very first time I tried it (or even heard of Fekkai) was from a tiny little sample given to me at the register of Bath and Bodyworks. The first time I tried it, I literally said, "What is this amazing stuff?"! I bought a tube, but months later when it was empty, I tried my beloved Ojon to compare. Ojon is fantastic, I will never not have Ojon in my house. But... since I strip my hair of every natural protective advantage it may have during multi-process coloring, Fekkai's is the best for me. If you have oily hair, or maintain a more natural look, I would bet that you would still love this product. A little goes a very long way, and it makes a difference to how my hair feels and looks. No doubt, the best for me!
...

I was highly skeptical for two reasons: 1. The cost. 2. Will this make my hair greasy? Both of these fears were put to rest immediately. I've used other glossing creams and had my hair hang and look dirty. I accidentally used too much one day, I was just extra shiny. I'm willing to shell out $$ for a product to actually work, so that worry was put to rest as well. I did take off one star because it didn't work on frizzies as well as I had hoped. It does make your hair manageable and sculpt-able. Good stuff! Oh, and a little goes a long way!...

It's a "glossing cream" and works similar to other glossing products (keeps "flyaways" at bay, eliminates frizziness), but doesn't weigh your hair down or make it look oily like many of the others do.

It's easy to use... you only need a very, very small amount and it will make your hair look healthier, shinier and just overall much more manageable. It also gives hair texture and shape... most other products I've used to combat frizzy hair leave my hair oily and limp.

Now, instead of using multiple products, I just use this and a tad of hairspray. Since it doesn't weigh my hair down I don't need to use rootlifter anymore, and I also don't need to use as much conditioner since this sort of acts as a daily leave-in conditioner...but I can use a lot less of it!

The price is high, but the sell this at Bath & Body Works, and can usually provide a sample if you request one. You only need a small amount, so the sample should last at least a week or two...that way you can try it and see that it's...
...

This is a great product. It's a little bit pricey, but well worth it. Due to its concentration, a little goes a long way. My hair is rather damaged and dry from heat styling, but this glossing cream really adds shine and helps make my locks look healthier....

I had heard so much hype about this product, and I love love love to try new hair products, so I ordered a small travel sized version of the glossing cream to try it for myself. I really loved it, I have very straight hair, that is baby fine in texture but I have alot of that hair! almost every shine spray or gloss I have tried made my hair look and feel greasy. This did not do that to my hair at all! I would definelty reccommend this, but I really think its way over priced! So my thoughts are as a special treat for yourself or as a gift its great, as a small tube lasts a long time, but its not something I would have to have as a regualr buy product....

I am totally sold on Fekkai Glossing Cream! I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and I color my hair at least once a month. You can imagine what this means. I deal with frizz on a constant basis and I have to be very careful about my hair's condition. Shine is something I've been in search of for years and, while I've managed to get it with other products, none have worked as well as Fekkai Glossing Cream does.

My hair hangs just past my shoulders and I still use only the tiniest amount of product, literally a dot the size of a pea. That small amount of cream helps control the frizz and makes my hair shine like nothing I've ever used before.

I almost didn't click "Pricey but worth it" on the cons side, because now that I use the product and see how long a tube will last, I don't consider it pricey at all. It really is seriously concentrated and, as far as I'm concerned, well worth the price. And that's coming from a woman that is on a seriously tight budget....

I love Frederic Fekkai products, especially the Technician conditioner, baby blonde shampoo and glossing cream.

I have long hair. I use about a pea size on wet hair, along with the new Fekkai ironless straighening cream. Blow out my hair straight. Then I use a tiny bit on my dry hair, just at the ends. It works wonders. I really love that it doesn't have a scent, although I love the technician conditioner scent.

I buy the large 7oz size, as that is the most economical. I also have 2 oz that came in a kit, which I use for travel. The likes of Sephora, Nordstrom usually have sample sizes, which in today's strict carry on rules, are priceless. I now bring samples for travel.

It's a wonderful product and I have been using it for years.
...

Quick View: I love shiny soft hair but lately my hair has not been looking too shiny nor has it been looking too healthy. It's very long, highlighted, and treated with heat all the time and it is starting to show. I heard great things about this product so I bought the smallest size to try it out. I am definitely buying the biggest size next. It's excellent!
About Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream

This cream comes in a 1.6 ounce, 4 ounce, and 7 ounce tubes. I got a 2 ounce travel tube on eBay but I don't see that size being sold alone anywhere. This glossing cream has olive oil in it which scared me. Although my hair is very long and dry, it will wimp out and look greasy if I use anything heavy on it. However, I learned that I need just a small amount (dime size for my mid back length hair) to gloss it and soften it without weighing it down.

This is a cream and can be used before styling to protect the hair from heat or after to gloss it and soften it. I use it on dry hair after I am done blow...
...
