When my husband and I had to trade in our Ford Explorer, we were looking to downsize from an SUV to a mid size sedan due to high gas prices. Well, we went with the Ford Fusion and we have not been disappointed. It rides really great, is roomy and great on gas. We get approximately 23 miles to the gallon. It has the Sync System, which is great because we can talk on the phone without breaking any laws. Our iPods connect right to the car a well so we can choose songs or artists without pressing a button. Our two children fit comfortably in the back seat with two car seats. In addition, there is plenty of truck room. We drive this car to and from work every day and it is great. If you are looking for a car that is dependable, reliable, looks great, rides nice and has lots of space, the Ford Fusion is for you. The newer models (2009) now come with the option of having a Hybrid. When we trade this car in, we will definitely be looking into that model. I just read that the Fusion Hybrd...
...

I love my 2007 Ford Fusion. We traded in our 2003 Ford Focus when I found out the rear passenger side impact crash rating was 1 star. I wanted my son to have a safe vehicle to ride in. We commute over 45miles a day. I was not sold on the Fusion until I drove it. I love it now. We have a 5 speed and I love the versatiliy that it gives you. So much fun to drive.
...

dmlichnerowicz says "Love the quality, love the price, love the perks, miss the oomph" about Ford Fusion - 2007

I'm a Ford girl all the way,and the Ford Fusion did not disappoint. I purchased my 2007 model with around 13000 miles on it in 2008. Within the first week of owning the car, we drove the car 1400 miles for vacation: what a great car for a long trip! Here's the run-down:

Great Features: Lots of leg room in the front seats, power everything (windows, locks, driver's seat), multiple air bags, moon roof, high quality factory model stereo with a 5-disc CD player, cruise control, controls for stereo and cruise on the steering wheel, HUGE trunk, neutral cloth interior, unique but easy to clean texture on the dashboard, tons of storage space in dash and console for cd's, sunglasses, garage door opener, an Oompa-loompa (seriously, there is TONS of storage). I get good gas mileage...I average 29.4 mpg, and around 27 city (4 cylinder). With the instability in today's fuel economy, this car is a wise purchase. It's important to me that maintenance is easy to do, since I hate to rely...
...

kjgoodman25 says "A nice car, but you get what you pay for!" about Ford Fusion - 2007

My Ford Fusion is a practical car. It looks good, and comes with many available options that make it fashionable and comfortable. I chose the 4 cylinder engine, which was a mistake. I test drove a Fusion with a V6 and the difference is enough to notice. Although this car is nice enough, it doesn't come with any flashy gadgets and everything is just good enough. I had trouble with my key getting stuck in the wheel column due to a malfunctioning fuse. I also had some fuses blown with my AC outlets that were difficult to replace. I got a great service plan, so those problems didn't hinder me too much. Overall, this Fusion is nice and fairly practical, but not anything special. It does get great gas mileage though!...

I recently bought the 2007 Ford Fusion SE. I spent aproximately two months searching online, reading reviews on different models, and years. I needed a safe car, with good room in the back, as I have a two year old who is the size of a four year old, dependable, econmical, nice-looking vehicle. Originally I was looking at the Toyota Camry, and the Mazda 6, but after extensive research, and comparing what I neede and wanted in a car, the Ford Fusion is PERFECT!!! I get about 24 miles per gallon, CITY!!! Side curtain airbags...the whole nine yards....

The 2007 Ford Fusion SEL V6 AWD is a comfortable smooth drive. We were looking for a SUV type vehicle until we found the Fusion. Having it now for 6 months, the gas mileage is better than we expected and we are very happy with it. We test drove and researched many vehicles and we love our Fusion....

I have my Ford Fusion for almost a year and love it. Easy to handle, quiet comfortable ride and great on gas. All the comforts you want in an expensive car but at a price everyone can afford. I love that you can control the music, change CD or stations and volume. The temperature is also controlled on the steering wheel. Ford was really thinking of driver safety. My car has wonderful features that were not extra like other cars. I also loved the idea that I was supporting American made cards. Ford really stepped up.
...

I have owned my Ford Fusion since August 2007. I am on the road alot for my business and have put 6400 miles on it in the 3 months. The car is very comfortable, easy to drive, and I am getting great gas mileage, with most of my driving not highway. The trunk is well designed, with the opening very large to fit anything in it. Seating is comfortable with a large backseat with a lot of leg room. I am very happy with the Ford Fusion and highly recommend it....

To all the car buyers out there who believe if it's Japanese it's better quit believing the overblown hype of the media. I had the opportunity to drive a Ford Fusion while my car was being repaired and I can tell you without hesitation it is automobile manufacturing at it's finest. The interior room should make the Camry owners embarrassed. The fuel economy is as good as any comparable vehicle domestic or import. And as for the "wow" factor of styling, that Fusion got more long looks than would make any Accord owner envious. So, before you get a yen to send your hard earned "yen" to Japan, take a look at Ford first.
...
