I have my Ford explorer for about 9 years now. It has been very dependable in bad weather such as snow, sleet and rain. It is great when making road trips and spacious during tailgating parties. Love it.

This car is amazing and it is huge and comfy. I know the gas is a bit but it is worth every penny. It never gave up on me and gave me lots of protection....

Great, reliable truck. No problems for over 100,000 miles. Resilient leather interior. Similarly equipped to Eddie Bauer edition, but with more off-road touches....

I am a person who drives daily, and also enjoys leisurely drives. I would not recommend owning a 2000 Ford Explorer, maybe any Ford Explorer for that matter. My fiance and I have owned the explorer for a lil over a couple years and have had nothing but problems with it. Everytime we turn around there is a recall or something else going wrong with it. The spark plugs go constantly, the back hatch has broken several times, the doors become stuck (and will not open), the cruise control has a mind of its own, the motor and transmission have both been replaced and still nothing but problems. I have owned several other cars besides this one, and would have to say that this is our worst investment and we will never own a Ford Explorer again. I dont know if we just happened to get a lemon, but I do not have any good comments on this vehicle. It is horrible on gas, we use a 1/2 a tank of gas just driving 45 mins away. This vehicle is not a vehicle that you want to own unless you want to sink money...

Prior to purchasing my Explorer many people tried to discourage me from purchasing a Ford thinking they were not dependable vehicles. Well, have I proved them wrong!! I am the original owner of a 2000 Ford Explorer, Eddie Bauer edition that has 187,750 miles on it. This vehicle has gone coast to coast several times and has never had any type of engine problem. The Ford Explorer has been very dependable even when it is cold outside. The Ford Explorer seats 4 adults very comfortable and has a lot of room for packages in the back. Bottom Line: When I am ready to purchase a new vehicle it will probably be another Explorer and most definitely a FORD.
