I have suffered from eustachin pain in my neck for years, and this was the first year it started to become daily, on both sides, and unbearable quite frankly. This is the first medicine to ever relieve that pain, and completely. i can only use 1 spray in both nostrils, more makes my heart race, but using it as i need allows me to use it not even daily once under control. JUST AMAZING. i do have minor allergies, just sneezing and it has stopped that as well. a nice side benefit.

This product works well and has a nice smell (rose). However it does cause my nasal passages to dry out excessively resulting in many nose bleeds............

I was prescribed Flonase http://www.kiwidrug.com/search/flonase/ by my Doctor 3 yrs ago and I found it to be way to expensive in stores to I found on line at "kiwi drug"for half the cost. I have seasonal allergies and they are the worst. I have tried every medication possible and I only found with Flonase I did not experience and side affects and was the most affective in preventing my sniffing runny nose and puffy itchy red eyes.

My doctor gave me flonase to try out for allergies but it really didnt work. it would just give me momentary relief but other than that it didnt last, I still had to take allergy medication

One of our discussion boards asked about various products people have tried for allergies (click here to see that informative discussion). I guess I'm an allergy expert to an extent because I am allergic to pretty near everything.

Flonase (Fluticasone Propionate is the generic name) is an anti-inflammatory (corticosteroid) nasal spray available by prescription only.

What I like about Flonase:

once a day dosing
cuts down on swelling to make for easier breathing through the nose (helpful if you have allergic rhinitis)
may cut down on sinusitis if sinuses drain better
can be helpful for indoor and outdoor allergies
is approved for people as young as 4 years old
doesn't cause drowsiness (I definitely wasn't sleepy when I got my nose cauterized.)
available in generic form--can save a little bit of money
easy to use--the Flonase website actually has directions for using this nasal spray if you're interested

What I don't like about Flonase:

It caused me to have severe nosebleeds that were bad enough to...

I have been using Flonase for about six months and have seen a great difference in my allergies. They are soooo much better. I can now enjoy the outside so much more. I have less sinus headaches and less sneezing....

Love Flonase! I get really bad sinus headaches and this product is the best way for me to avoid it. My seasonal allergies are centrally located in my sinuses. I find that one spray in each nostril is enough to prevent the symptoms. I have been using Flonase seasonally for almost a decade and I still trust it.

Love Flonase and love it even better now that it's in generic form! I have severe allergies to perfumes, colognes, laundry deteregents...pretty much anything that has a scent. If I do not use Flonase I will end up with a sinus infection if I am exposed to too much scent, ie: shopping at a department store, family gathering, church, wherever! This has been my saving grace because before I started using Flonase the Dr. told me I would have to have surgery on my sinus'....

Flonase works well for allergy control, but it is alcohol based so they use flowery scents to cover that up. I could never stand the smell or the taste it left in my mouth. There are updated saline based products available that are odor taste free....

I have used Flonase for a while now. It works great. It opens my sinuses almost immediately. Just occassionally in the winter if |I dont run the humidifier I will get an occasional nose bleed. This far outways the sinus headaches and the breathing issues....

Being suscribed Flonase made my life better on a daily basis! Using it once a day has made it easy for me to own cats and live in my dusty home. I'm definitely not a fan of nose sprays but I am willing to make an exception for this one!! It's also pretty inexpensive and lasts for a month so I am able to afford it each month (always a plus)....
